Lucifer is Not a Symbol of Hate.
He is not here to damn you to eternal suffering. Not to cloud your mind and make you blind. Not to take away your freedoms and make you a slave. There is no punishment for disobeying/not following him. And he shouldn’t be used that way. He’s the saviour of humanity. He has freed us and given us knowledge and wisdom. He has opened our minds to the world around us, even past the human realm. He helps us grow and achieve our higher selves. He is loving, strong, and courageous. His light can be felt all around us; a comforting warmth. He makes us strong and brave. He shows us the truth that others hide from us. He is the lightbringer, and the king of this world.

So I also wanted to ask both sides of worship a pretty random question, but please feel free to leave your thoughts~.
Loki has been my patron for a hot minute, but I've always noticed and been aware of another Fatherly Presence tm. It's always been kinda bumbly in an excited and happy way, a little dorky in a wholesome way, and there's always been various birds (usually crows for me), stars, and moons, associated with them. Think Stolas vibes and aesthetics, or Crowley from Twisted Wonderland.
...but I'm starting to suspect it might be Lucifer, lol.
And given that, at least for me, ever since the second season of Loki's ending, Loki's been all sentimental over life trees, apples (like the apples of Idun), and snakes... And I know obviously these can also be symbols for Lucifer too, as can moons and stars and crows or swans/birds..........
Soooooooo... My question is, lol
Has anyone else noticed these similarities between them? Do they both seem to fuck with each other/get along/be friendly with each other bc they're very change and truth oriented deities?

Long time no talk yall~! But I have questions I'm curious about for other's experiences, lol
Firstly, god, is it literally ONLY me?? I absolutely love consuming any and all media with gods or deities in it, especially if they're already familiar with me like Loki, or if they come to make me interested in them. And my experience with this has always been positive.
Loki did 100% use Marvel to introduce himself to me and get me kinda obsessed for a time with learning more about him, which made it a lot easier and a lot less scary than it still was for a while, when I finally did become aware of him and ready to interact with him years later.
He also enjoys sitting and watching or playing God of War with me, giggling about how accurate, or inaccurate, things are, geeking out about the twists and spins they put on the original stories, and so on, with me. I've never had an experience where I can recall him being insulted by an inaccurate portrayal of him. He's only ever laughed at it and poked fun at it. He makes himself LOOK like Marvel Loki sometimes, and has loved the show with me just as much as I have. He even joked that he chose Tom to play as him in this franchise specifically, and eluded to having an affect on how they wrote the character, since he's been enjoying the stories since the comics first came out.
I've also been absolutely obsessed with Hazbin and Helluvaboss since they've come out, too. I've followed along in their makings since Viv made the Kesha music animation video.
And I've felt instantly drawn to Stolas, Lucifer, and Asmodues as a result, though obviously I am a grown adult. I don't expect them to be exactly like a cartoon.
But my point is, the vibes I've always gotten is deities being both understanding, and patient over, if not even sometimes actually interested in and curious about, their fictional portrayals in things. Wether they're made out to be good, bad, or neutral. They already seem to know we're not *trying* to get it *right*, we're expressing creativity and they love that and want to see it.
Kind of like if a writer friend of yours wrote a book and said they based the villain off of you and you both had fun with it and made inside jokes about it. That kinda energy~.
But every time I see people post on here about new media with deities, they say they experience the complete opposite, and I'm like ????
So is it just me that has this experience, lol? I have had fucking slumber party nights where Loki and possibly others sometimes, just curl up and watch something or play a game/watch someone play a game with them in it, regardless of how they're portrayed, and it's always been a fun and chill time. Not one where anyone gets offended and pissed.

Peaceful Sleeping Sachet
The right blend of herbs can do wonders for a good night’s sleep. This sachet spell can help you have a more restful sleep and keep your dreams positive.
10 whole cardamom pods
1 tbs sea salt
15 whole cloves
½ oz dried mint
½ oz dried rosemary
A white candle
A pink candle
A silver candle
A small bag or pouch (or cloth and string to make a sachet with)
Light all three candles wherever you are going to be working on your herbal pouch. In a small bowl, mix everything together with your hands. Keep your thoughts peaceful while you work. You should do this spell in a quiet moment when you won’t be disturbed.
Repeat this chant while you stir your fingers through the herbs:
Sleep, dream, peace Peace, dream, sleep Dream, sleep, peace
Pour the herbs into the bag, and tie it closed. Set is somewhere near your bed. You can also sleep with it under your pillow, but it will have a strong scent.

How to Make a Dream Pillow
Dream pillows are used to promote restful sleep and pleasant dreams. They are small and flat, placed in a standard pillow, and stuffed with a sachet of calming and sleep-inducing dried herbs. As the sleeper sleeps, movements of the head will gently crush the herbs to release delightful scents and please the senses throughout the night.
For this project you will need:
one 16 x 5 inch rectangle of fabric (cotton, silk, etc)
a sewing machine or a needle and thread for hand sewing
pillow stuffing or 1 cup rice
1 cup of dried aromatic herbs
(optional) a few drops of preferred essential oil (such as lavender, chamomile, rose)
Dried herbs may be harvested at home, purchased online or at local markets. Choose herbs to fit the mood and fragrance preferred. Dried rose petals, for instance, emit a floral and romantic fragrance while rosemary and mints will give you a clean, invigorating and slightly spicy result. Chamomile has a light apple-like fragrance while dried sweet woodruff emits a wonderful vanilla scent. The best way to find the right combination is to experiment. Here are some herbal suggestions:
Mugwort*
Lavender
Hops
Rosemary
Cedar
Lemon Balm
Passion flower
Peppermint
Chamomile
Begin by folding the rectangle of cloth in half, lengthwise. Use your sewing machine (or needle and thread), to sew up the long sides of the rectangle, but leave the top open to make a little pouch. Turn the pouch inside out so that the seams are inside. Now, fill this pouch with your choice of stuffing (don’t over-stuff) or rice and the dried herbs. Seal the dream pillow by sewing the remaining side closed. You can make the pillow refillable by stitching some Velcro on the open ends of the fabric. Add a few drops of essential oil to the pillow, if desired. Place the dream pillow/sachet inside of your pillowcase before bed.
Cloth and herb amounts may be changed for desired pillow size.
(*Note: handle mugwort carefully! This herb is toxic and may pose serious health risks to pregnant women, wear gloves!)
