hey everyone. i don’t make posts like this often if at all but i wouldn’t unless things were absolutely at their breaking point and now they are….i know some of you know that things financially for me and my mom are just. the worst rn. we were homeless two years ago and have been struggling to stay afloat ever since, had to move states to live with family and now we’re about to be homeless again, as my aunt is kicking us out because she’s selling her condo to a friend and can no longer tolerate us. we’ve had no jobs since coming to this state because of the town we live in’s seasonal work system as a tourist town, but we can’t collect unemployment because we aren’t established residents. and while the jobs are opening back up because of the tourism picking back up, the coronavirus makes it so much harder than usual as more and more places shut down, and my aunt isn’t giving us a chance to even get jobs and has just said tonight that we have to be gone by tomorrow. we have no money between either of us, no one to stay with, and likely no car, as it’s been re-po’d once before and we only got it back on a last chance payment which is overdue by 11 days. our credits are both so bad with losing jobs and being laid off multiple times and having to stretch bills.
i hate so so much to be asking for help, and i don’t know how far the help will even go with no end point for us in mind and all around it’s looking pretty hopeless. i have to give up my cat Bern because i can no longer look after him, and likely have to sell many things. we have no idea where to go or how to get there.
if she really does kick us out tomorrow, it’ll likely be months, maybe even a year or more, until i can come back on here or on Discord. i likely won’t be able to contact anyone. and we’ll likely continue needing help too….we were still in recovery from last time only now it’s even harder….please, anything you can spare at any time will at least allow us to eat. after that i just have to do my best to get back up like last time. the link will always be valid, and while i might not be able to respond to anyone until the day comes we get back up on our feet, please please know any support will mean the absolute world to me.

On a technical level, yes, it did mean off-planet. But there was considerably more to it than that. How much of that Noctus ought to share, however, he hadn’t decided yet. The Alchemist’s thoughts were still a little flighty. Erratic, even. Sure they may have clarified that it wasn’t the Celestial Plane that Ichigo travelled across, but inter-space travel was still quite the information to drop into Noctus’ lap. It just carried a different gravity than Noctus had first thought.
❝ The Celestial Plane is, well, just that… a plane of existence. I misunderstood what you meant earlier, I apologise. ❞ He flashes an apologetic smile at Ichigo. The alchemist somewhat embarrassed for how worked-up he’d been even just moments prior. ❝ I knew you weren’t Tierien, but I thought that you’d perhaps come from further out than the ten nations. ❞
Noctus paused at his own words. ❝ I suppose you did. Just a lot further out. ❞
The Alchemist repeated back the name, mindful of the pronunciation. He didn’t want to be disrespectful and get it wrong. It certainly was a far cry from anything in Ardere, or anything he’d seen in his Astronomy charts for that matter. ❝ I take it that’s outside the domain of our sun then. Especially with how unfamiliar the name is. What is your home like? ❞
ichigo seemed rather amused at the alchemist’s words till the mention of his home planet’s state.
“ it’s in a rather sorry state at current. not really sophisticated within the general populous like other places i’ve seen. “
what he meant more was the widespread comfortability of most residents. his home planet had been quite small, enough for a single government to reign control over the entire place. the rich held things like interplanetary trade & luxury at the tips of their fingers— while, ichigo could remember only finding out there were planets with other species when he’d been forced to escape the planet himself.
blinking those thoughts from his mind, he looked back to his owlish companion.
“ we have two suns, “ ichigo held up two fingers for his own emphasis, “ but no … er, magic and the like, how this place does. “ many places ichigo had visited as of late seemed to have some realm of magic within them. so strange that his local galactic group had no wind of that. he rather liked this fairy - tale type magic.

It was almost sundown, and the orange horizon shadowed over the small cliff side. It was a hangout spot for tourists, and only Mighty the Armadillo and another were there to see the beautiful sight. He turned to the other with the pastel orangeness reflecting on his muzzle.
“Hey,” Mighty said to the alien, “kick it with me– we shouldn’t care if the sun is gone.”
Well, he was always the type to be too friendly. Hopefully, it didn’t scare the alien off.
ichigo leaned his head back into the grass below them, watching the sun slowly sink below the horizon. he supposed he could be considered a tourist, though he was here on business. never - mind getting into the logistics of it.
at least he was enjoying himself.
“ yeah, that sounds like a plan. “ he brushed back his ears, sitting up with a small grunt. “ got anything you want to do in mind ? “
