uhhhhh I think this is a coincidence. I found the post you're talking about and everything that's similar between my Fern's backstory and theirs (Fern brought back with a wish, him living with/getting along with the gum family, him being homeless/figuring himself out with LSP, coming to terms with the demon/integrating, learning to use his powers, learning an instrument etc) is from a fic I wrote in 2020 which is a little older than 2023 which is when that post was published.

They used the word "poetic" babe, I was so flustered. "coming back to this thoughtful, mature, beautiful rework" I have real nice readers /cry/

I do this weird thing where I reread specific sections of fanfics, like a little comfort snack. So many open tabs on my phone just to read the same 3 paragraphs lol.
