Think BIG for small bathrooms!
So what do you do when you have no space in your bathroom to work with? M2 Construction Inc. tuned in with homeowners to find out their feedback and gave us a few quick tips of the trade.
When dealing with a small space, some homeowners have turned to darker, richer colors to provide more ambient "cozy" lighting. Other ideas have included swapping out the good ol' vanity for a pedestal sink - its amazing how much space this will open up for you. Some have added cobblestone flooring with a contemporary light fixture and wall paper to jazz things up a bit. If you can't sacrifice the cabinet space, consider stacking one on top of the other and possibly changing to a shallower depth - if you can spare a few inches and simply add some flair to the space....the impact with be HUGE!

Today's trends in Remodeling and Real Estate 2015
Have you noticed? Remodeling, building, real estate and construction practices are changing. From the way the consumer finds a trained professional to interest rates v. lenders v. finding people you can trust when you find them on the internet. The good ol days of the referral is slowly diminishing, as much as I hate that, we all have to start being more creative in how we "engage" with the consumers.
Consumers are very savvy these days and most times, do a lot of research before making that first call to the service professional. As a consumer myself, I take a lot of time out to research something when I know it is going to be a significant purchase. When all else fails and I can not get 100% of the information I am looking for- I will turn to my friends, family and referrals as my final source.
So what do we do about it? If you are in any kind of the construction or real estate trade profession, first things first, you need to make sure you have a great social media presence and a strong website. Consumers are going to be "checking you out" so to speak, therefore it is so important to focus your energy on these targeted marketing practices. Without social media these days, it will be nearly impossible to get the word out about your services and your company.
My wife and I own M2 Construction Inc. and are licensed Kentucky Realtors in the heart of the gorgeous Bluegrass state of Kentucky.
