Here is what I meant by writing down some boons for the HC/life series Hades au.

Grian- God of The Sun. (Because, of course)

Boons:

Grian's Aid- Your call fires 4 rotating rays of light that damage foes at a rate of 9 dmg every 0.2 seconds and inflicts Blind. Lasts 4 seconds (Rare-4.5 seconds, Epic-5 seconds, Eroic-5.5 seconds).

Blinding burst- Your attack is stronger and inflicts Blind. Attack damage: +50% (Rare multiplier: 1.2-1.4, Epic: 1.6-1.8, Heroic: 2.2-2.5).

Shots in the dark- Your special rapid-fires a series of 10 glowing bullets that inflict Blind. Damage: 10 per bullet. (Rare: 14, Epic: 16, Heroic: 20)

Delayed trap- Your dash creates a small glowing orb that explodes after 3 seconds and inflicts Burn. Damage: 65 (Rare: 70, Epic: 85, Heroic: 90)

Blinding smite: Your cast summons a ray of light that inflicts Blind in a big area. Damage: 70 (Rare: 80, Epic: 90, Eroic 100).

Cactus ring (of course): After being damaged summon a ring of glowing cactii around you dealing revenge damage and inflicting Blind to all foes. Revenge damage: 15 (Rare: 20, Epic: 25, Heroic: 30)

Burning Light: Every foe inflicted by Burn has a 40% chance of also becoming Blind. (Rare: 50%, Epic: 60%, Heroic 75%).

The all-seeing: All blinding effects last +3.5 seconds (Rare: 4, Epic: 4.5, Heroic: 5).

Burning metal: Enemies with less then 20% health have a 10% chance of exploding after being hit thus Burning nearby foes. (Rare: 12%, Epic: 14%, Heroic: 16%)

Denied Sunset: When health is below 30% take half damage. -Legendary.

Status effects:

Blind: Enemies are 25% slower and have a 50% chance of missing. Last 4 seconds.

Burn: Enemies take 10 damage every 0.2 seconds for 2 seconds. (Like scorched except does less damage per second but lasts longer)

(I'm not... good at making things balanced so I would be very grateful for all suggestions on changing specific values)

Been thinking about a Hermitcraft/Life series Hades AU... not anything concrete and probably going to stay in the background of my Slay The Watcher AU which I care a lot about but I was thinking of writing down some boons? What do you guys think?

Do you have any plan as to how long the slay the watcher AU will go on for? Or is it based on the decisions we make? Or something else? Also, just wanted to say I absolutely love this au! Always a pleasure to see two things I'm interested in get put together in a really cool and fun way!

Well, there will be at least 6 routes before the finale, it depends on you at that, wether you reach the true ending or one of the others.

Scar: I'm also here!

The Narrator: I hope you know what you're doing... you make your way to the bottom of the stairs and into the basement, there is the watcher...

*A dark-blonde...almost brown haired man is sitting with his wrist cuffed to the wall of the basement by a chain, purple eyes looking at Scar and Mumbo, he is wearing a red sweater...he looks at the knife*

????: So you weren't kidding, you really are here to kill me.

The Narrator: Do it now, before it can do anything to stop you.

*Mumbo takes the blade*

The Narrator: You take the blade, it would be rather difficult to slay the The Watcher and save the world without it.

Mumbo: ... ugh.

The Narrator: The door to the basement creaks open reavealing a staircase faintly illuminated by an unseen light in the room below. This is an oppresive place. The air feels heavy and damp, a hint of rot filtering trough ancient wood. If the watcher really lives here slaying it is probably doing it a favour.

Scar: Uh? I don't think that's-

The Narrator: A masculine voice carries up the stairs.

????: Who's there?

Scar: It sounds...dangerous...like It's the one in control here.

The Narrator: Don't let it fool you, It's all part of the manipulation.

Mumbo: Fine, but we'll try talking to it first.

The Narrator: Go ahead, but listen closely... If you go in with the intention of hearing it out it will have a way easier time manipulating you.

Scar: Yeah, yeah, we get it.

The Narrator: The interior of the cabin is almost entirely bare. The air is stale and musty and the floors and wall are painted in a fair layer of dust. The only forniture to note is a plain wooden table. Perched on that table is a pristine blade.

Mumbo: What if the Watcher is going to destroy the world because they're locked up and can't escape?

The Narrator: While I appreciate the question we are a bit running against the clock here.

Scar: That's not an answer to the question.

The Narrator: I can assure you that The Watcher is locked up because he's dangerous and not the other way around ok? I cannot lie to you.

Mumbo: How can I be sure of that? How can you?

The Narrator: Before we waste even more time let's look at this situation more pragmatically-

Scar: What?

The Narrator: Let's look at this situation outside of the theoretical.

Mumbo: Go on.

The Narrator: It doesn't matter which is true, no matter what the situation was in the past the current one won't change. If The Watcher was always dangerous or became dangerous doesn't change that it is dangerous and that it is going to destroy the world either way. There is no changing that. Unless of course you do your job and slay it. Do you get what I'm saying?

Scar: I think so!

Mumbo: ...yes.

Mumbo: If you can just speak stuff into existance why can't you slay the Watcher?

The Narrator: I really wish I could do this on my own, without needing your help...

Scar: But? I'm sensing there's a but here

The Narrator: But I can't, keeping this ser-world from falling apart takes enough out of me.

Mumbo: ...so?

The Narrator: As much as I want to do it on my own the two of you are the only ones that can actually do it, you are the protagonists in the quest. I'm just the Adm- Narrator. So go do what you need to.

The Narrator: ... No! you aren't dreaming this. Neither of you are dreaming.

Scar: That's what a dream would say.

The Narrator: It. isn't. a. dream-

Mumbo: How can we know-

The Narrator: Suddenly pinecones fall from the branches above and hit you both in the head.

Mumbo: Ow! That was unnecessary!

Scar: What was that for?

The Narrator: Did it hurt?

Scar: Yes!

The Narrator: Then you know you aren't dreaming, can we please get back to slaying the Watcher?

Scar: Oh, right.
