Little Encanto Details From The Books, Part 2!

I was blown away by the response to my first post about this! (Read the first part here!) I went back through the two books and wrote down every tiny thing I could find. I think I won’t have any more until Disney releases a new book about Encanto, which hopefully they’ll do soon!

• Bruno, if not the rest of the family, is Catholic (he crosses himself when meeting Antonio’s jaguar.)

People of color, draw your favorite white character as a POC! I think blacktober is great. Let poc see themselves in their favorite characters. Especially dark-skinned poc.

Make your transgender hcs. Give them millions of xenogenders or none at all. Draw Peter Griffin as transfem! Draw the agender batman you've always wanted to see!

Make your oc as colorful as you want. Use as many accessories as possible. Give them cool top surgery scars. Put them in a polycule with your comfort characters!

HC your favorite characters with disorders less seen or negatively seen in media. Give your favorite character stim items. Draw them with prosthetics. Draw them with mobility aids. Draw them with bad teeth. Draw them with a back brace. More power to ya!

It's not cringey to do any of this stuff. The majority of cringe culture is based around an abelist queerphobic racist antiblack mindset. Bullying minority groups for making their favorite characters more like themselves is not okay. If you make fun of childish ocs grow the fuck up that so immature of you to do.
