After searching for years I finally found this book and luckily I enjoyed it. Now I’ll be honest and say the scenes in the lab were brushed over because it was heavy on the scientific talk but it didn’t effect my enjoyment or the flow of the story.

If you go into it with the movie in mind you won’t be disappointed. There are some key character changes both in terms of who they are and what they do/happens to them but in some cases I prefer them. I also enjoyed the beginning and how it dived into the effects of the islands around Isla Nubar more and the end which provided a better set up point for a sequel then the movie did.

I look forward to reading The Lost World and seeing how that unfold.
