The Outlier Prophecies by Tina Gower perhaps. It's about an alternate world where the majority of society has supernatural lineage (and it includes legends from multiple cultures). One of the main protagonists is of werewolf descent, but most werewolves can no longer shift. However they still have pack tendencies and needs. There are some sex scenes in later books, but they don't get overly explicit (that I remember). It's definitely more of a mystery-solving type of series, but the world building and characters are excellent. It was a series I didn't expect to like so much.
Not sure if this helps but it was the first thing I thought of.
I understand the appeal of erotica in werewolf novels, okay? We’re all monsterfuckers here. But I am asexual and sometimes want my werewolves without the smut.
The Parasol Protectorate and Finishing School series by Gail Carriger are really good, I think they have some of the most interesting takes on transformation and pack dynamics. But I finished the first, am almost finished with the second, and my local library doesn’t have much of the other related series.
So does anyone have recommendations for other werewolf books that aren’t just smut or weird, straight omegaverse?

Hahahaha
Apparently 50+ titles I saved on Everand had their licences expire and I didn't know only because I hadn't actually started any (got an email for an audiobook I started YEARS ago and removed from my saved list when I decided to DNF it).
I have no clue what got cut except for a few titles that were in a separate list I made
Between that and the sudden change that puts half your TBR on the unavailable list until your next billing cycle cause "you're reading to much" I am getting so fucking done with this service. I know I should switch to audible or libro.fm but those are $15/month for a single audiobook credit and the audible catalog you don't need a credit for? Nothing looks appealing.
And yes I have used a library one before but then my library card expired over covid cause I was only using it for the apps and apparently that isn't good enough for my library you have to check out physical books too like gee thanks

People talk about the series they fell in love with as kids and I need you to understand how much Avalon Web of Magic rewired my brain as a little girl. I loved the stories, I loved the animals, I loved the ART, I wanted to be a magical girl Just Like Them. I own all of the editions I grew up with now and I have zero regrets about it

Reading the first Gallagher Girl book: Yeah, Josh seems cute. This is a nice sweet romance to balance the spy school stuff.
Reading the second book and Zach has existed for all of 3 pages: NOW THIS IS WHAT I AM HERE FOR

Ordered a used copy of the 3rd Gallagher Girls book cause it was the only one I didn't have. Didn't think to look at the publisher. It was a Scholastic printing so it's shorter than the other paperbacks.
I guess it's okay cause the last 2 I got used as well, in hardcover.
Yay for another non-matching set of books. I'm trying very hard not to care cause I got 2 for free.
(And my Lockwood and Co books consister of a mass market, a tall scholastic, and the rest regular paperback)

"Today my shop teacher gave me detention for not properly sanding a birdhouse." 🤨
Sorry, what?
That's not worth a detention, that's worth a bad grade. What kind of shop teacher is this?
