Was that a VOICE he heard? And it wasn’t even his OWN voice or the voices of any of his holograms. No, this could only mean ONE THING. He had a visitor or two! It’d been QUITE A WHILE since he had his last visitor, and he thought he wouldn’t end up having another. But he was WRONG, and he was DELIGHTED with the fact that he was wrong. Not wanting to be RUDE, he decided to go ahead and GREET his guests.

From a room in the manor, there was a sudden flash of light. With another flash of light, he appeared behind the visitors, barely levitating off of the ground to keep himself closer to their heights while showing that he was no mere human. A grin stretched across his face as he spoke.

“ I haven’t had visitors in a LONG TIME...why don’t you COME IN for a while? Surely, you’ve traveled QUITE FAR in order to get here... ”

The manor’s door creaked open without anyone’s touch. There was no gust of wind, NOTHING. In fact, the air was QUITE STILL.

“ I know, the place doesn’t look it’s greatest anymore. No, it looks almost like it’s HAUNTED, DOESN’T IT? But let me just reassure you that...YES, IT MOST DEFINITELY IS HAUNTED! ”

“ COME ON CLIVE, there’s no such thing as GHOSTS, RIGHT? Like, COME ON! Nothing is HAUNTED ABOUT THIS PLACE! GEEZ. THERE’S NO SUCH THING. YOU’RE JOKING. COME ON. PSHAW! “
