This is the lot I’ve made for the @build-a-hood project! It’s an apartment complex with 6 units, all are studio sized with room for a double bed.

Here’s the 6th unit since Tumblr wouldn’t let me add it to the photoset:

The common area has a lobby-like building, for get-togethers with the whole complex. Outside is a grill & bar, more gathering spots to really make a community out of the apartment!

Each unit is decorated with a different “personality” in mind - Artist, Romance sim, jock, nerd, etc. They even have unique objects on their “deck” space to match!

Don’t forget to turn on TestingCheats then Shift+Click the apartment door if you want your sims to rent the units fully furnished.

Sims 2 H&M For The Build A Hood Project

I built something for the build a hood project. It's lot number 14, a 3 by 2 community lot. It features toilets, a window display, obviously fake flowers and much much more. I didn't limit my packs to to be on the safe side i recommend that you only download if you have all the dlc's, It is CC free. Hope you enjoy. Happy Simming xx

looking for a new mod~

hi peeps! i've been a bit busier than anticipated and as you can see build-a-hood is super neglected right now.

if you'd like to help with the project please reach out! i know some of you offered before but i thought the 2 of us, @alienpod and @slyndseysims, could handle it, but clearly not. :D so i'm looking for 1 or 2 more mods.

no requirements besides having some free time to help manage the submissions and placing lots on the map to figure out what we still need to do.

the main neighborhood is almost complete! we only need a few more community lots done and to poke some of the people that claimed lots before to check up on progress. i also want to move on to downtown now since i know some people are looking forward to the more urban lots and don't feel too comfortable building for the suburbs.

Museum & Old Town’s Hub

This building funded by the old town’s patron, Lady Plubelle, today functions as* a museum & a hub for small local businesses.

You can find more screenshots under the #bahinterior tag on my blog. I can’t add more than 10 of them in one post, unluckily, so I have to split them.

Another lot for @build-a-hood project. Lot no 22. Lot is 100% CC-free, size 4x3 (and checked in Clean Installer). However, I still recommend using Clean Installer anyway.

I briefly tested this lot, so most of things should work properly, but in case something is malfunctioning, please, let me know!

Contains: art museum with a music performance room, a cafe, an arcade, a boutique & grocery store.

Built with cheats (quertertile, snapobjects, moveobjects and constrainfloorelevation), so be cautious if you want to edit anything.

The City Hall

The chief administrative building of the town and headquarters of town’s mayor.

Another lot for @build-a-hood project. Lot no 23 was reserved for town’s hall.  Lot is 100% CC-free, size 3x3 (and checked in Clean Installer). However, I still recommend using Clean Installer anyway.

Contains a room for council meetings, mayor’s office and an office for all town’s administrative needs.

Built with cheats (quertertile, snapobjects, moveobjects and constrainfloorelevation), so be cautious if you want to edit anything.

Supernatural Community Centre

Central spot for gatherings of the town’s supernatural population. The Centre can also hold conferences and organise weekend school for young magical children craving knowledge of their special abilities. If you’re a member of the community, you can also - after receiving permission of the Centre’s supervisor - use special rental rooms if you need for a place to stay for a night.

My addition to @build-a-hood project! I took lot number 12, which is a part of magic corner. Lot is 100% CC-free, size 3x3 (and checked in Clean Installer). However, I still recommend using Clean Installer anyway.

It has 2 classrooms/conference rooms, one common room and 3 “motel” rooms (one has a bed for vampires), but I’m pretty sure you have to use a mod which let you sleep at community lots.

Here are some townies for build-a-sim! I’ve never been that good at making sims that look like real people but I tried my best! Children age up very strangely in this game so I had to fiddle a little with their faces to make them look okay as adults.

The sims come without CC. I’ve also taken pics of what they look like with the defaults I have, so. Ye.

For the @build-a-hood project, here is lot 39 - a modern contemporary mini mansion in the upscale part of the hood.

It’s three stories, unfurnished and on a 2x3 lot, with a somewhat open plan, pretty basic landscaping and a pool out back.

A luxury apartment complex for the @build-a-hood project!

these are somewhat based off some luxury apartments near my earlier homes, though I think they are more expensive technically.

There are 4 “apartment” condos. Two have two floors, and two have three. they each have two private outdoor areas, as well as a common area with a fountain. They are all technically 2B/2b homes, but I’ve included both a package file for the Apartment version, as well as a Residential version if you want to easily edit the layout before using the lot. In this case, in order to use them as apartments, you’ll need to use the ChangeLotZoning apartmentzone cheat in order to switch it from residential before moving any sims in.

This lot is 100% CC FREE but requires all expansions to be safe. it PROBABLY doesn’t need all the packs, but definitely needs apartment life and M&G.

Built a Junkyard for @build-a-hood!

I was assigned lot 51 (3x1 lot), but I guess it can be anywhere among the highway lots.

Well, this was definitely more challenging than I expected XD But I had fun too, just tossing around random objects and deco. So yeah, that’s what I came up with! Please spruce it up with cc when you can XD

I playtested a copy of it, so all the objects that should be usable are usable. CC-free, built in a hopefully bug free anygame. But as usual please use Clean Installer, just for sure :)

a community lot for the @build-a-hood project! This is a 3x1 community lot that is a gas station on the edge of town. it features basic bathrooms and a small convenience store where many of the sims living outside of town can buy their groceries. it also features a small bus stop near the bathrooms. This lot is CC-FREE but probably requires all expansion packs.

The package is clean, but feel free to use the Clean Installer just in case :)
