  Kamala nodded. “Yeah, plenty of people. Plenty of food, thankfully. I spent so much time with my Mom making sure everything was perfect that I didn’t even get to meet all my new sister-in-law’s family, but everything went great”. Better than she had expected even, considering she was kind of on edge with the badguy she had been dealing with at the time. “Lion King actually sounds the best, since they enjoyed the movie well enough. And I’ve been dying to see Hamilton, but it’s more of a thing to do with my friends, I suppose”.

          “No problem, I’m happy to help - it gets a lil intimidating if you don’t know your way around. If they like cool events, they might get a kick out of a trip during a national holiday when there are lotsa things going on.“ There’s a pause as Billy thinks over the comment, lightly humming to himself with a vaguely concerned grimace. “…then again, they might not be a fan of all the crowds and would prefer when it’s a lil quieter. There’s always cool stuff to see regardless of the time of the year.”

“Yeah, the less crowds the better”, Kamala nodded, appreciating the young man’s thoughtfulness. “We haven’t really done anything nice as a family since we planned my brother’s wedding a few months ago”. Well, the parents has planned it, Kamala had been more than a little busy at the time. “You know, I was actually thinking about taking them to a show or play. But I’m no even sure what they’d like”.

Luckily you’ve missed peak hours but it’s always real busy down there.” It’s subtle but the boy picks up on the traces of a New Jersey accent, digging out his phone from his pocket to quickly navigate to the museum’s ticket information. “You have a coupla options, depending on how long you’re in town for - you could always get one of the passes to see other attractions around the city.”   

      “Oh my gosh, thank you. I was starting the think I’d never get any clear directions”. She really was grateful for the help, what, with all the unhelpful suggestion she was getting. She probably wouldn’t have gotten lost in the first place had she not asked the guy in the Elmo suit. “Really? That sounds great when I have some friends of family along. I’m always telling my parents to get out more”.
