CD Update

Hi, I haven't been on my tumblr enough, sorry!

Life's been hitting me pretty hard. I know it's been a while without a story update and I feel guilty about it, but I've also gone through several chains of losses in a row (one I can't even really talk about publicly to make myself feel better) and I may be up for yet another one with my cat (She's already pretty old). Not sure right now, but me and my family both are all kind of rattled by a lot and I haven't been able to cope in a healthy way or find a proper outlet or support network. I'm taking things day by day, mostly.

My capacity for creativity has been a bit stinted, especially with one of the unspeakable losses which hit me particularly hard. I have so many ideas but it's hard to get them out on a page or on a canvas. I will still try to finish up the chapter because I do like writing the story, it's just a lot has been going on that's kept me from it. Physically and emotionally I'm all over the place.

I know that doesn't make up for my lack of interaction with anyone or the discord. I'm not as active as I'd like to be. I am sorry! I will try to get to questions or try to get creative again as soon as I can. I haven't even been home in about a month by now and I just wanna lay in my bed and recuperate so I can at least try to get back to the things I like.

Also, moving forward, mostly I'll be on tumblr or discord. I can't keep up with insta or DA much anymore, plus both platforms have been a bit questionable or lackluster for art in general. I still won't touch twitter, unfortunately. If you have recommendations of a place I can host my art then I'm all for it, but otherwise, this or discord will be it. I know I haven't been posting enough art on here as it is, but unfortunately the policies tumblr has make it a bit dodgy to post everything.

In any case, that's the news. See you guys around! And if/when I can manage to update the story again, I'll of course announce it.

if Ten and Yosuke met under normal condition, getting to know each other naturally and normally. will she fall in love with him? and how will Yosuke act as her boyfriend? Gentle, loving or possessive and control? thanks anyway!

She might! She thought he was handsome to begin with, and he's pretty gentlemanly generally. Giving him high amount of power over a person as he has in the facility might bring out the worst in him, but normally, he's pretty alright and adjusted.

He might have pangs of possession, jealousy, or control over a partner, but if Ten fell in love with him organically, she wouldn't be the cowering type. She's shown in TF that she's stubborn and I don't doubt that if she was in a situation where she hadn't had all her autonomy robbed and much of her spirit splintered, she'd fend for herself much more easily. So, I think she'd snap a bit more at Yosuke to bring him back down to earth whenever he started acting questionably. He might honestly expect her to help keep his worst self at bay, really.

Otherwise, I do think both could be romantic to one another.

I don't have much to say about myself, really. I studied English/writing in college, then later added some philosophy/psychology to that. I casually watch random shows/anime/cartoons, and I like playing games on my offtime (I still play a lot of Left 4 Dead).

I've always written random stuff since I was little, but I no longer have all the old journals I used to fill with old fanfic lol. I never used to post it online until I got into the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom since I grew up watching that anime a lot. The Facility is actually my first major original work published online. I've always had ideas and stories floating around in my head, and even a fanfic Code Lyoko comic and an original comic I used to draw when in class featuring friends of mine from high school that sort of evolved into its own thing, but I've never really posted stuff anywhere!

I have an interest in the aesthetics of medicine, cyberpunk, and the post-apocalyptic, but I'm no expert on any of that :p.

I was into a lot of random fandoms in my teens/early adulthood. Tokyo Mew Mew, Homestuck, Steven Universe, Undertale, Love Live, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Made a lot of fancharacters for TMM and Homestuck specifically. I like Genshin right now, just because I like the world/characters. I like attending conventions if I can afford it, but I'm not really a superfan of anything and just like to enjoy things here and there.

Otherwise I mostly just keep to myself and try to make money to pay for rent/food. Not much else! :p If you have anything particular you want to know, you're welcome to ask.

Do you have plan to write spin off about Yosuke visit before the main story? Where hes trying around to look for the right one? Im really interesting in eight & yosuke and them having similar looks.... (i only reach chap 34 rn if these were touched on in main story then nvm lol)

Probably not something from his perspective. His involvement before the main story may briefly be in someone's chapter after the main story is over and I work on the extra stuff.

Apologizes if you already answered this but will you ever do a collection of shorts that center around doctor visits with other numbers? For example, Violet and Micah or Sven and Lav?

I don't have any intentions to do more visit stuff outside of the main story, no. I wanted to focus on story and character more at this point. I wouldn't be opposed to writing it, but I would likely not publish anything on ao3 for it. If people wanted to request or even commission me to write even more extras, I could.

We're getting into the final stretch but we're not quite there if that makes sense. There's still quite a few chapters I have planned but it's not gonna be like another 50 or something.

I do plan on having epilogue-ish chapters that aren't from Ten's perspective. Two sets, one that goes into the Numbers' lives before being taken, and then the other about all the doctors. Mostly just snippets of interactions we didn't get to see because of the limited perspective of the main story. Plus more insight on The Overseer's life.

I'm not sure what I want to do after the story. I would like to try revamping an old vampire story of mine from middle school and maybe see where that goes but I don't know. I also have other ideas for smutty one-offs but I have no idea what will happen ><

If the feds come in on a rescue mission to save the numbers and other prisioners, would all of the doctors just accept that it's over? Would any of them put up a fight

I mean if they're caught red-handed it'd be hard to hide without a proper plan. I'm sure some would try to run but those with any inkling of a guilty conscience or weak disposition would immediately fold or freeze up and get caught.

Somehow I feel like the only one who would get caught on purpose is Milos but while being smug the entire time bc he's just kind of like that ™

this is why i dont like responding to comments. Fueling bullshit and screaming [even politely] at people who won't change their mind is pointless.

I know plenty of people in the past who have rudely shat on my work or acted like high literary critics from their desks at home when i made it clear from the get-go that this work was a jumbled mess i was just having a ride with. i know how to write! I choose how to each time I make something new, and maybe it doesn't always work for everyone.

I am not making money off of this, im not selling a top product. im putting out a little p0rn fic on the internet for free and alone. I may not have written something they liked, and that's fine. I have always allowed people to leave the work because they stop caring or its no longer for them.

I only exist and do as I please. Things just happen around me. Obviously if you put a work out there that gains traction you're going to attract more critical or outspoken people. Ive been told i'm a bad writer, that i'm a ped0, that i'm morally bankrupt, that i should quit for what i write or how badly i write it. All things are subjective. I enjoy my creation even if it is undoubtedly flawed. I can't police people's reactions nor do I intend to. I can just silently acknowledge what i agree with and ignore what i think is unfair or unsound. I'm educated and have enough experience to swallow the bad as much as the good, but also to sort out what arguments do and don't work.

I have had people tell me to my face my writing is shit. So what? I keep going. I work on what I can. With this particular work, things are new to me. Smut, a long story, 2nd person. All experimental. This story is a passion project, but a playground sandbox too. I made that perfectly clear.

i do keep flaws in mind, yes. However, I don't intend to fix myself to suit the needs of any one person. If I did that, the story would have changed to an even worse mess each time i got a negative comment. Leave if you dislike it, stay if you don't. Quite simple.
