Twisted…
Summary: The Dagger Squad decides to play a friendly game of twister with Phoenix calling the shots. Who’ll come out on top?
“Come on guys, let’s play twister!” Phoenix shouted as she pranced through the house, making her way into the living room. Tonight was Friday and the Dagger Squad had all gathered at Maverick’s house for game night. They adopted the tradition a couple of months ago and ever since then it just seemed to stick. Phoenix pushed the couch out of the way and moved the coffee table creating plenty of room for everyone to partake in the game. The rest of the squad entered the living room followed by Maverick who plopped down on the couch. “Alright, who wants to play?” Phoenix said giddily.
“Count me in, Sweets,” Hangman smirked.
“I’m in,” Payback volunteered.
“I’ll do it” Fanboy chimed in before slapping Payback on the shoulder.
“Alright we need one more player,” Phoenix said looking around the group waiting for a volunteer. After a moment of silence, Rooster spoke up.
“Sure, why not?” He said shrugging his shoulders.
“Alright, now everyone pick a color.” “Hangman?”
“Blue.”
“Payback?”
“Yellow.”
“Fanboy?”
“Green.”
“Rooster?”
“Red.”
Once everyone had their colors, Phoenix reviewed the rules of the game and assembled the spinner board. “Alright, you guys know the rules, last one standing wins; and no cheating!” “Here we go!” She flicked the spinner and watched as it twirled in circles on the board before slowly coming to a stop. “Right hand yellow.”
Everyone watched as Payback bent over to touch the yellow circle on the mat; his actions eliciting a couple of snide remarks from the group. Phoenix spun the arrow again as it landed on another color. “Left foot green.” Fanboy chuckled as he smacked his foot over top of the green circle closest to Payback’s head. “Left hand red!” Rooster leaned over and smacked the mat, touching the red circle by Hangman’s foot. “Right foot blue.” Rooster watched as Hangman’s foot moved towards the blue circle on his left shaking his head as the pilot practically danced over towards it.
The game continued on as the four eventually found themselves in ridiculous positions on the floor; each one just shy from being tangled in a knot. Fanboy had maneuvered his way underneath Payback and found his arm wrapped over his, trapping him in place; while Payback was still bent over with both hands and feet on a yellow circle. “Right foot green!”
Fanboy positioned his foot on the green dot underneath Payback’s leg, as he let out a grunt at the weight on his arm. “Phoenix, you think you could call out another color or something?” “I think the blood has rushed to my brain” Payback huffed out with a breathy laugh. Phoenix flicked the spinner again as it landed on another green. “Left foot green!”
Fanboy struggled to place his foot on another green dot when he found himself slipping. “Payback I can’t hold it any longer!” “Fanboy, wait -!” It was too late. Both men went tumbling to the floor sprawled out on top of one another, groaning in pain. “That’s it guys, you’re out” Bob said motioning with his thumb for the boys to get off the mat. “Better luck next season boys,” Hangman chuckled. Phoenix turned her attention back to Hangman and Rooster as the two were now tangled up together. She smirked as an idea popped into her head. “Left foot blue.”
Hangman went to move his foot, snaking it underneath Rooster’s leg. “Right hand red.” Rooster looked around the mat trying to plan his next move. He settled for the circle closest to Hangman’s head and threw his arm around his neck, barely touching it on the mat. From the outside, it looked as though Rooster had Hangman in a head lock and Payback let out a cackle at the sight of the two of them on the mat. “Left foot blue!” Hangman threw his leg over Rooster’s, barely making contact with the mat. He let out a grunt as he was now completely trapped inside of Rooster’s grasp.
“I don’t know how much more of this I can take” Rooster huffed out, his head now buried in the crook of Hangman’s neck.
“You know Roo, if you wanted to get me into bed, why didn’t you just say so?”
“Fuck off, Jake.”
“Right foot red.”
Rooster looked around on the mat for a red dot and found one, but unbeknownst to him, it was just out of his reach. He went to move and stretched a little too far feeling himself slip.
“Rooster - don’t!”
Too late. Rooster fell on top of Hangman nearly knocking the wind out of him. The two recovered and sat upright on the mat as Rooster turned to glare at Phoenix. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”
“I stopped spinning like 15 minutes ago. Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't notice” she giggled. ”But to be fair, Hangman was technically the last one standing.”
Rooster turned to look at Hangman who had a shit-eating grin on his face. “You’re not gonna let me live this down, are you?l
“Not a chance, Roo.”

Confessions…
A/N: Jake finally tells Bradley how he feels about him. Some illusions to smut. Happy reading!
"Why don't you just talk to him?" Bob asked.
"Talk to who?" Rooster said playing dumb at his question before tearing his attention away from across the bar.
"Come on Rooster, don't be like that." "I know you've got a thing for Hangman. Everyone can see it from a mile away."
Rooster hung his head in defeat as he felt the heat began to creek up his neck, eventually settling on his cheeks. He watched from atop the barstool as Hangman played pool with Phoenix, taking him in. Hangman leaned over the table lining up his shot and sinking a striped ball in the corner pocket. He stood up giving Phoenix a snide remark along with a signature smirk before sauntering his way over to the opposite end of the pool table. Bradley forced himself to turn around on the barstool before taking another long pull from his beer. "Is it that obvious Bob?"
"Very much so I'm afraid," he said pushing his glasses back up on his nose.
Rooster let out a breathy laugh as he finished his beer, pushing the bottle to the side. "Yeah, I guess you're right," he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Just go for it man. You'll never know unless you ask him," Bob said giving Rooster a warm smile and a pat on the back before turning to walk away.
Rooster pulled a twenty out of his pocket and placed it underneath his empty beer bottle as he stood and made his way back over to the squad situated around the pool table.
"Bradshaw, as I live and breathe," Hangman said as he clutched onto his pool cue letting his gaze fall upon Rooster's.
He watched as Hangman's eyes took him in and he had to will away the knot forming in the pit of his stomach. Rooster let out a slow breath to calm himself before he spoke.
"Hangman, you look…good." And good in fact he was. Unbeknownst to the rest of the squad, Rooster was two seconds away from having a full blown asthma attack. The sight of Jacob 'Hangman' Seresin had his breath hitching in his throat and he felt like all the air had been stripped from the room.
"I am good Rooster, in fact; I'm too good to be true" Hangman shot back, causing Rooster to roll his eyes. Hangman lined up another shot and sunk a ball into the corner pocket, ending the game. He stood up and slowly made his way over to Rooster. The two pilots stood face to face with one another, merely inches apart.
"What's your problem, Seresin?" Rooster asked trying his best to divert the conversation elsewhere. Hangman let out a chuckle before turning on his heels and making his way back over to the pool table; the wind carrying the scent of his cologne through the air. Bradley took in his scent allowing it to become engraved in his memory.
"Who said anything about a problem, Bradshaw?" "After all, I'm good…I'm very good."
Rooster scoffed and shook his head. He didn't understand how someone could be so cocky all the time, let alone arrogant. Then again, there was just something about him that had him all but melting into a puddle onto the floor whenever he was around. Phoenix made her way around the table to stand beside Rooster.
"He hasn't changed much," she said.
"Nope" Rooster said, popping the 'p'. "I'll be outside." Bradley grabbed himself another beer before making his way outside the bar and leaning up against the deck railing. He took in the sight of the beach and listened as the waves came crashing in, closing his eyes for a moment. His moments peace was interrupted when he heard the sound of footsteps behind him. His head whipped around towards the noise, only to find that Hangman had entered into his safe zone.
"Mind if I join you?" Hangman asked looking at Rooster.
"You're already invading my space, Jake; it's a little too late to be asking for permission."
"Ah," Jake said nodding his head. "So we're on a first name basis now?"
"What do you want?" Bradley all but spat out before turning his head to glare at Jake.
"I just wanna talk," Jake said before taking a long pull from his beer. His green eyes met Bradley's brown ones and suddenly he felt like he was on fire.
"Yeah, well, I don't wanna talk to you;" Bradley shot back, turning on his heels to head back inside the bar. Jake grabbed a hold of his wrist spinning him around and stopping him in his tracks. His touch sent sparks down the length of Bradley's body.
"Walk with me." "Please?"
Bradley was about to contest Jake's demand before giving in and letting out a long breath. The two pilots made their way down the beach in silence before stopping to sit by the lifeguard tower. The sun had begun to set and there was hardly anyone on the beach at this time of day. He finished his beer and set the bottle in the sand before turning his attention to Jake. Bradley once again found himself staring at the younger pilot as his mind became consumed by such impure thoughts that he felt like he needed to pray and ask for God's forgiveness. "Why'd you bring me out here Jake?"
Jake steadied his gaze out towards the beach, focusing on the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore; letting out a ragged breath. "Rooster, there's something I want to tell you, no - I've been dying to tell you; but I'm not sure how you'll take it."
The words resonated in Rooster's mind causing it to race uncontrollably. "Okay, well, what is it?"
"Rooster, I think I'm in love with you," Jake said playing with the stem of his beer bottle.
Bradley's heart practically flipped in his chest at the words as he struggled to calm himself and bite back a smile. "You love me, Jake?"
"I - I think so," Jake said turning his body towards Bradley's; eyes scanning his face as if trying to read his expression. Bradley was silent for a moment before he spoke.
"What if I said I think I love you too?"
Jake's head snapped up at the words as a smile slowly crept onto his face. "Really?"
"Really, really" Bradley said letting out a breathy laugh.
"This is great," Jake exclaimed loosening up a bit. "Now that you love me, you won't mind if I do this."
Bradley barely had any time to respond before Jake's lips were crashing into his, causing his eyes to fly open in shock. Jake's tongue traced the outline of Bradley's lips carefully familiarizing himself with such new territory. Bradley's hands found their way on either side of Jake's face working to angle his head to allow him better entry into his mouth. They stayed there for what seemed like hours as the world around them seemed to stop. The two pulled away breathlessly looking into each other's eyes; the lust evident in both their irises. "You wanna get out of here?" Bradley asked looking at Jake.
"I thought you'd never ask, Bradshaw."
The two left the beach and hopped into Bradley's Bronco before making their way back to the barracks. They fell through the door of Bradley's room, barely able to keep their hands off of one another. Clothing was shed and discarded on the floor in piles as the two ravaged each other's bodies; touching, teasing, tasting, exploring. In no time the room was filled with soft moans and expletives as the sound of skin slapping together resonated off the walls. The two drove each other wild as their orgasms coursed throughout their bodies leaving them sweaty, panting and breathless. They lay beside each other slowly coming down from their sex high and taking in their new surroundings.
"How was that?" Bradley asked nuzzling into the crook of Jake's neck.
Jake let out a breathy laugh before turning over and facing him. "Our first time sleeping together and you're worried about performance, Bradshaw?"
Bradley could feel his cheeks burning at Jake's comment. "No, not worried, just curious."
"For the record -" Jake began. "That was amazing," he said before pressing a kiss to Bradley's lips.
"Glad to know I didn't disappoint" Bradley said smiling into the kiss.
* * * * *
The next morning, the entire Dagger Squad was at breakfast in the cafeteria as Rooster made his way down the assembly line before taking a seat beside Phoenix.
"I saw you kissing Hangman yesterday," she said. "Good for you. It’s about time."
"I - it was an accident" Rooster said dropping his gaze at the food on his tray.
"An accident, huh?" Phoenix teased looking at the shy pilot beside her. Unbeknownst to Bradley, he wasn't very convincing.
"You moan my name last night by accident too, Roo?" Just in that moment, Hangman walked by the two of them plopping down beside Rooster causing him to blush furiously.
Phoenix looked between the two of them as the wheels turned inside her brain. "Wait, did the two of you fuck each other last night?!"
Bradley let out a groan before pushing his tray forward and plopping his head down on the cool wooden table. Phoenix stared at Hangman unable to pick her jaw up off the floor.
"Come on darling, you know I don't kiss and tell" he said, taking a bite out of an apple.
"That's okay, Rooster's telling me everything I need to know" she said looking down at the pilot who still hadn't moved. She leaned down to whisper in his ear. "I'd say that was a yes, Bradshaw."

I gathered this inspiration from a quote posted by @incorrecttopgunquotes and decided to do a little blurb about it. Let me know what you guys think ☺️
What the Heart Wants…
“Alright guys, food’s done!” Maverick yelled from inside the kitchen as he reached behind his back to untie the knot in his apron. Maverick grabbed a large platter of fried chicken from the stove before placing it in the center of the table. “Ice, would you be a dear and grab some utensils from the drawer?”
Ice gladly obliged before grabbing some forks, knives and tongs and placing them in the food that was spread out along the table. Maverick came to rest at his side long enough to admire his work. He and Ice had been up since dawn working on this meal and so far he was stoked at how everything turned out. There was chicken, string beans, mashed potatoes, rolls; the whole nine. Ice had even gone out of his way to make a pumpkin and a sweet potato pie for dessert. “Looks good babe” Ice cooed as he turned to look at Maverick before planting a quick kiss to his lips.
“Guys, get a room,” Rooster whined as he and other members of the squad sauntered their way into the kitchen.
“We have a room, Rooster” Ice said playfully as he turned his attention on the younger pilot. “In fact, we have plenty of rooms seeing as though this is our house.” “Perhaps it is you who should get your own room.”
Ice’s comment made Bradley roll his eyes as his words struck a nerve. Bradley had been in the process of getting his own place, but he hadn’t found anything that sparked his interest. He briefly recalled the conversation between he and his godfather and uncle a couple months prior. The two had pulled him into the kitchen and had a conversation with him regarding him moving out.
You can stay here as long as you need, son; but it’s high time you start looking for a place of your own.
Maverick’s words made his blood run cold and he did his best to shake the shiver that ran down his spine. “Rooster, you okay?” Jake asked as he eyed him out of the corner of his eye. Jake’s question snapped Bradley out of his flashback.
“Yeah, I’m good” he said giving Jake a lighthearted smile.
“Damn Mav, you guys can really throw down in the kitchen!” Payback said rubbing his hands together in anticipation of eating; a wide grin forming on his face.
“Thanks, Payback” Maverick said as a grin found its way onto his face.
Everyone was seated at the table with empty plates in front of them and rumbling stomachs. “Rooster, why don’t you say grace?” Ice asked.
“No thanks, I’ll pass.” Rooster’s response elicited a couple of shocked expressions and looks of confusion from around the table. Maverick was about to contest Bradley’s unwillingness to bless the food when Phoenix chimed in.
“You pray all the time when Hangman comes over” she said as a smirk crept onto her face. “How did it go again? Oh yeah,” ‘Oh, God! Oh, God!’ Phoenix’s comment got a couple of snickers from the other pilots while the rest shook their heads. Her eyes fell on Rooster and Hangman who at this point were both red as a beet; eyes wide in disbelief.
Maverick’s eyes darted between all the pilots, not catching onto the joke. “Yes, yes; he’s very devout” he said before slapping Bradley on the shoulder with a smile.
“I’ll bless the food,” Coyote huffed out.
After the blessing, the pilots took turns serving themselves, piling food onto their plates; most of them going back for seconds. A light conversation was going on around the table and everyone seemed to truly be enjoying themselves. “Hangman, Rooster, you two have been awfully quiet, what have you guys been up to?” Ice asked before shoving a forkful of string beans into his mouth.
Bradley went to answer his question before Fanboy interrupted him. “I can think of a few things” he said snickering before downing a forkful of potatoes. “Ow! Jesus Christ Payback, that was my shin!”
“Shut up, man” Payback hissed as he delivered a sharp kick to his leg signaling him to be quiet. His actions collected several confused looks from the other members at the table, except for Phoenix who was about to die from laughing. Bradley and Jake had all but pushed their plates away from them, suddenly losing their appetite.
“You guys are acting weird” Maverick said shaking his head and leaning back in his chair crossing his arms.
“Whatever it is going on between everyone it ends tonight” Ice demanded. “Someone start talking.”
An uncomfortable silence could be heard throughout the room as everyone poked at their food, refusing to make eye contact. “Alright, I’ll go” Phoenix chimed in with a smug grin on her face.
“Phoenix -“ Bradley interjected.
“Bagman and Rooster here have the hots for each other!”she bellowed out. “They’ve been making us all miserable with their mindless pining over one another!”
Bradleys ‘s eyes were wide as saucers as he felt a heatwave fall upon his body. He hung his head and suddenly felt as if he were three feet tall. Unbeknownst to him, Jake had all but slid down in his seat as all eyes fell on the two pilots. Ice and Maverick looked at one another as a smile found it’s way into Mav’s face. “Is it true Bradley?” “Jake?”
Bradley leaned back in his chair before pulling his hands down his face. “Yeah, it’s true” he said letting out a defeated sigh.
“Oh. Well, as long as you two are happy, what’s the problem?” Ice asked quizzically, eyes darting between the two. His response made Bradley feel as though a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
“The heart wants who it wants,” Maverick said before looking up at Ice.
“That it does,” Bradley said as he turned to look at Jake. With a smile, he pulled him in for a kiss not caring that all eyes were on the both of them. Natasha proceeded to make fake vomiting noises as other members of the squad protested themselves.
“Finally,” Bob laughed out. “It’s about time.”

A/N: This is my first TGM related fanfic; so please be nice. Involves Hangster and some Penny and Mav. 18+. Let me know what you think! I had this idea pop into my head and I couldn’t concentrate until I wrote it out ☺️
While You Were Out…
Summary: Maverick allows Rooster and Hangman to help Penny clean up around the bar at the Hard Deck only to return to the surprise of his life.
It was a hot summer day in California as the sun shone down onto the beach, heating the sand below. Bradley was behind the wheel of the Bronco with Mav and Hangman in tow as they drove towards the Hard Deck. The three pulled up to the front of the bar and piled out of the truck before heading inside. Penny came from the back as her eyes fell over Maverick and the two younger pilots with a quizzical look.
“I uh, I asked them to come with so they could help out around here” Maverick said sensing her question.
Penny gave him a surprised, yet thankful look before designating both pilots with a specific task. “Now, I’ve got to run into town to pick up some supplies; I’ll be back in a couple of hours” she said grabbing her purse. “I want this place spotless by the time I come back” she joked before giving the two a warm smile. “Let’s go Mav.”
Jake and Bradley watched as the two sped off in Penny’s pick up truck before they began working on straightening up the place. Jake began wiping down the table and chairs before flipping them up onto the tables as Bradley organized the liquor underneath the bar. He watched as Jake’s muscles flexed with each swipe of the rag as he cleaned the table top, causing something to stir deep within him. He studied his features, taking in every little detail that someone on the outside would miss if they weren’t careful.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Bradley and Jake had been dating for the past couple of months and they spent majority of that time being intimate with one another. Jake could feel a pair of eyes on him as he worked, taking the time to call out that certain someone. “You know Roo, it’s not polite to stare;” he said, his words snapping Bradley out of his trance. Bradley licked his lips at the sight of Jake before him, unable to control his intrusive thoughts any longer. He quickly closed the gap between the two of them until they were face to face with each other. “Like what you see, Roo?”
“I do, very much,” Bradley replied before grabbing Jake by the back of the neck and pulling him in for a kiss. Jake was hesitant at first before melting into the kiss. He familiarized himself with Bradley’s taste and reveled at how he always tasted like beer and sandalwood. Bradley’s hands moved up to cup Jake’s face as he deepened the kiss, their tongues dipping into each other’s mouths. Jake’s hands traveled down the length of Bradley’s body taking time to appreciate his toned physique. They stayed there for what seemed like forever before proceeding to remove their clothes. Jake allowed his hands to slip under the hem of Bradley’s shirt before pulling it over his head and discarding it on the floor. He immediately went for Bradley’s neck licking a wet trail over the sensitive skin before nipping at it slightly. His actions elicited a soft moan from Bradley.
Jake leaned into Bradley as his hands found their way to the brim of his jeans. He dipped his finger into the waistband briefly before undoing Bradley’s belt and pulling his jeans down to his ankles. Bradley’s breath caught in his throat as he stood there under Jake’s gaze as he felt flush creeping up his neck. Before he could react, Bradley’s lips were on his again in a blinding hurry. He stepped out of his pants awkwardly before scooping Jake up and carrying him over to the pool table. He placed him down on the table and watched as Jake sprawled out for him right before his eyes. “You just gonna stand there, Bradshaw? Or are you gonna fuck me?
Bradley climbed onto the table and positioned himself over Jake, capturing their lips in another kiss. He tore off Jake’s shirt and stripped him of his pants and boxers before leaning down and taking him in his mouth. “Jesus, fuck” Jake huffed out; the feeling of Bradley’s wet mouth on his cock taking him by surprise. His hands tangled their way into Bradley’s hair, holding him where he needed him most. Bradley hummed with every bob of his head and swirl of his tongue as he traced lines up and down the thick vein on the underside of Jake’s cock. He watched as the younger pilot’s head flew up to take in the sight before him, only to fall back down again in ecstasy. Bradley brought his fingers up to Jake’s mouth in which he sucked on them with pleasure. The feeling of his mouth wrapped around Bradley’s fingers made his cock twitch as he reached down to palm himself through his boxers.
Bradley released Jake’s cock with a ‘pop’ as he pumped him a couple of times, making sure to lav at any stray droplets of pre-cum. He slowly pressed a finger inside Jake’s hole, watching with lust filled eyes as the younger pilot squirmed beneath him. “Oh shit, Roo.” Bradley continued working his fingers, eventually adding another before scissoring into Jake’s tight hole.
“Fuck, you’re so tight” Bradley rasped out; the sound of his voice filled with desire. He added a third finger before hitting Jake’s prostate and nearly making him see stars. Bradley continued at a steady pace as he hit that spot again and again, edging Jake just enough but not too much.
“Bradshaw, I swear if you don’t fuck me, I’m gonna come right now” Jake said grabbing his hand and stopping him. Bradley leaned up and kissed Jake on the mouth before flipping him over so that he was on all fours. Jake let out a whimper as a strong, muscled hand came down hard on his ass with a loud ‘smack’ causing him to jerk his hips at the sensation. Bradley grinned before leaning down again and spreading Jake’s cheeks with both hands as he licked a broad wet stripe at his center. He teased the taught ring of muscle there before pulling back and spitting on it. This new sensation nearly sent Jake tumbling over the edge.
“God, look at how wet you are for me, babe.” “I can’t wait to fuck you,” Bradley growled into Jake’s ear sending a shiver down his spine.
“What are you waiting for?” Jake rasped out breathlessly. He was barely able to get the sentence out before Bradley slammed into him and bottomed out. “Fuck, Roo!”
“Such a dirty boy” Bradley growled shaking his head. “I’m just going to have to teach you a lesson, won’t I?”
“Y-Yes!” Jake cried out as Bradley set an intoxicating pace. “Please, fuck me, please!”
* * * * *
“Here Mav, help me take these boxes inside,” Penny said as she dropped the tailgate of the pickup, throwing a box in Maverick’s direction.
“Sure thing” he said letting out a grunt at the weight of the box in his hands.
“Here, we’ll go in through the back. Just set those boxes on the table there” she said, moving herself out of the way slightly to accommodate him. Maverick brought in the last box off the truck and dropped it down on the table before letting out an exhausted breath. “Don’t tell me you’re tired already Pete” Penny taunted giving him a pouty face before her lips curled into a smile.
“Me, tired; never” he said waving her off with his hand before doubling over and trying to catch his breath. Once his lungs had recuperated, he stood up and proceeded to help Penny unpack the boxes and put away the supplies.
“Be nice if we had some additional help,” Penny said looking at the remaining boxes sitting on the table. To her dismay, they seemed to be multiplying and it didn’t feel like the end was anywhere in sight. She blew out a breath from her bottom lip as it gently lifted her bangs across her forehead.
“I’ll go get Bradley, he and Jake should be done cleaning up by now.” Maverick gathered three bottles of liquor in his arms before turning and walking towards the door that lead out into the bar. “Where do these go?”
“Just put them underneath the bar!”
Maverick nodded his head before using his shoulder to push through the swinging door that opened up into the bar. When his eyes adjusted, he was in no way prepared for the sight in front of him. He watched in horror as Jake and Bradley were both on top of the pool table fucking each other like their lives depended on it; Jake on the receiving end as Bradley pounded into him from behind.
“OH MY GOD!” Maverick yelled out laxing his grip on the liquor bottles, causing them to crash to the floor and shatter into a thousand tiny pieces. The sound of glass breaking caused both men to whip their heads around mid-stroke at the noise; eyes to falling on Maverick’s shocked expression. Penny’s head shot up at the noise before she came running into the bar.
“Mav, what was that -“ she called out before rounding the door and walking right into the unexpected. Her eyes were wide with horror as she observed the two younger pilots naked on top of her pool table. “Jesus Christ!” she yelled out covering her eyes.
Jake and Bradley scrambled off the table frantically grabbing for their clothes that had been discarded on the floor. The two hastily tried to cover themselves as their hearts pounded in their chests; still drumming from getting caught. Maverick and Penny had both turned around to shield their eyes from the naked pilots, not wanting to scar themselves any further. “Both of you, make yourselves decent please!” Maverick called out with his hands on his hips. The sound of rustling could be heard in the background as Jake and Bradley found their clothes and had become fully clothed again.
“Are you two decent” Penny called out with a giggle before getting an ‘mhm’ in unison. She and Maverick turned around letting their gaze fall on the two. Bradley looked as though he could’ve been a tomato and Jake looked like a five-year old who’d gotten caught red handed with his hands in the cookie jar. Bradley felt the flush creep up his neck before it settled onto his cheeks; his gaze slowly traveling upwards and meeting Maverick’s.
“Mav, Penny, I can explain -“ Bradley began, his voice frantic and apologetic.
“Save it Rooster,” Maverick said holding up a hand to silence him. “I can’t believe this, we leave you two alone for a couple of hours and come back to the sight of you guys getting your rocks off with one another!”
Penny giggled again at the sight of the two love drunk pilots before stepping past Maverick. “Not my pool table you guys,” she said shaking her head and stalking off into the back in search of the broom, grumbling inaudibly as she went.
“I mean what even possessed you two to -“ Maverick started to say but quickly retracted his statement, throwing his hands out in front of him. “Nope you know what, I don’t wanna know.”
Penny returned with the broom and dust pan and began sweeping the floor only for Maverick to snatch it out of her hands before turning back and facing the two pilots. “As your punishment, you two are gonna clean up this mess, and finish unboxing these supplies back here and put them away.” “Judging by the looks of it, I’m sure you two didn’t do any actual cleaning while we were gone” Maverick spat out as his eyes darted back and forth from Bradley to Jake. Their look inaudibly confirming Maverick’s suspicions.
Jake gave Maverick an understanding nod of his head before maneuvering around Bradley and taking the broom from him. Bradley walked past Maverick and into the back where he began tearing into boxes and pulling the supplies from them. Penny let out a chuckle at the sight before her and grabbed Maverick’s hand leading him out the front door of the bar. The two sat down on the sand looking out at the ocean as the waves came crashing in. “You don’t think they’ll need 24/7 adult supervision do you?” Penny barked out a laugh.
Maverick hung his head in his hands before looking deep into her brown eyes. “God, I hope not.” “I walked in on my son butt-ass naked, Penny; fucking Hangman of all things!” “MY SON!” he yelled out flailing his arms around by his sides. “I didn’t even know Rooster swung that way!” he whined.
“Well, now you do Pete. There’s a first time for everything” she said giving his shoulder a playful shove.
“Yeah” Maverick scoffed. “And hopefully the last time too!” “Which reminds me, pay up” he said holding out his hand in anticipation; a smug grin finding its way into his face.
Penny shot him an unbelievable glare before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a fifty dollar bill and smacking in in his hand. “Damn you, Rooster” she cursed dropping her head in disbelief. Maverick let out a burst of laughter at her antics and watched as she stood up making her way back towards the bar.
“Where are you going?” He called out to her.
“To tell Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb that they owe me a new pool table!”

The battle seemed to drag on for hours.  The Oni were powerful, and with the help of Chris Argent, the boys managed to kill two of them; it was all Derek and the Twins could do to fight them off.  Just as things started to look up, an Oni stepped behind Aiden and stabbed him in the stomach.  He howled out in pain, hands trembling as he looked down at the sword in his stomach.  Blood trickled from his mouth and wound, painting the ground red.  Ethan looked up to see his brother bleeding profusely and called out to him.  He ran over to Aiden and caught him before he fell to the ground.
Ethan immediately called 911.  When the ambulance arrived, he hopped in the back with his brother.  He held Aiden’s hand the entire ride; veins darkening in color, temporarily relieving Aiden of his pain.  “Aiden, Aiden, it’s gonna be okay; hang in there,” he chanted.  Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the hospital; Ethan was with Aiden every step of the way.  He was immediately wheeled into surgery, leaving Ethan pacing in the waiting room.

It had been two hours.  Ethan was half asleep when the nurse came out and touched his arm.  He jumped up, startled.  “How is he, how’s my brother?”
“Well, he suffered some major hemorrhaging to his stomach, and the sword punctured some major organs,” the nurse said.
            “How long does he have?”
“At this rate, I’d say a couple of hours, maybe a few days; it doesn’t look good.  The best we can do is make him comfortable.”
“Can I see him,” Ethan asked.
The nurse led Ethan into the room.  When he walked in, he saw his brother lying in bed with a hand over his stomach; his breathing labored.  Ethan walked over to his brother’s side.  “Aiden?”  He turned his head at the sound of his name, and looked into Ethan’s eyes.
            “Ugh, hey bro,” Aiden wheezed.
                     - “How ya feel?”
                     - Aiden winced in pain, “it hurts, not gonna lie.”
He reached for Ethan’s hand.  Ethan held his brother tight and stroked his hair as the tears began to fall.  He pulled his Aiden close and sobbed into his shoulder.
“Does it hurt you as much as it hurts me,” Aidan coughed.
Ethan let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding.  “Yeah.”
“It’s okay,” Aiden said.  “Lydia never believed I was one of the good guys anyway.”
Ethan nuzzled the side of Aiden’s face as tears stained his cheeks.
“Will you tell Lydia I love her?”
Ethan shook his head, “I will.”
             “I love you Ethan.”
Ethan nodded his head and smiled, “I know.”  He pulled his brother close, still holding his hand as the machine beeped four times and flat-lined.  Ethan looked at the monitor, watching in terror as his brother’s life slipped through his fingers.  “Aiden” (no response).  “Aiden…AIDEN!”  Ethan started CPR, trying to revive his beloved brother.  He pushed down on Aiden’s heart, all the while maintaining mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.  “Aiden, you stay with me, you hear – stay with me!”  Ethan continued to revive his brother with no success.  “Aiden, wake up, WAKE UP,” Ethan cried.  Ethan held his brother in his arms and rocked his lifeless body back and forth.  “Oh God, oh God, oh God, please don’t leave me!” he cried, the tears streaming down his face.
Just then, Scott and Lydia rushed in, the entire pack behind them.  Lydia stared at the sight in front of her, tears filling her eyes.  She turned to run out of the room and ran right to Stiles who held her as she sobbed.  Scott walked in the room and put a hand on Ethan’s shoulder.  They turned to leave, shutting the door behind them.  Ethan stayed there for the longest time; he just couldn’t let him go.

Two days later, the pack all gathered to lay Aiden to rest.  Ethan and Lydia had put together all the arrangements.  Aiden was dressed in his best and lay in a beautiful mahogany casket.  With a few words from the preacher, the caretaker began lowering the casket into the ground.  Scott and Stiles did their best to restrain Ethan as he watched his brother walk out of his life forever.  It was as if things were in slow motion, there was no going back; Aiden was gone.
Lydia and Ethan stuck around after the funeral.  Ethan turned to Lydia.
“He wanted you to know that he loved you,” he told her.
Lydia shook her head and wiped a tear from her eye, “I know.”  “It’s just so hard, I can’t believe he’s gone,” she sobbed.
Ethan petted her hair as she cried into his shoulder; he pulled back and looked into her eyes.  “Lydia, no one ever said it was gonna be easy.”  She nodded her head in agreement as he looked at his brother’s tombstone.  He held out his hand to Lydia and squeezed it tight; it was gonna be hard, but they’d make it through this.  “At least we know he’s in a better place now,” Ethan breathed.  Lydia looked in his eyes, “yeah.  Rest in peace Aiden.”
