Lothario Household (1)

Good ol’ Don Lothario... When he’s not busy wooing ladies, he’s sleeping. However, his non-commital yet romantic nature gets him into all sorts of drama.  

Currently he is an intern (level 1) in the doctor career. As he did not go to college for a degree, he will probably not get a promotion ever unfortunately. He doesn’t mind though; his mind is with the Caliente sisters and more...

He was already flirting with Dina!

When he went to the gym he saw her sister Nina, and immediately became interested in her. 

So interested they shared their first kiss!

Does this seem familiar? When he met bella on the street, she came over to watch the sky through the telescope with Don. Don wanted more... but Bella rejected his advances, as she’s loyal to Mortimer. 

At work, Don got to know Eric Lewis a bit!

Back at home after work, he invited Dina over and got it on with her!

His maid, Kaylynn Langerak was also very attractive to him and he wouldn’t let a chance go to waste!

A quick woohoo!

Eric decided to show up later in the evening to hang out.

Household Caliente (1)

(I’m taking a bit of a break from sulani play and going back to my willow creek world! I played with most households once already, but once I get to the second round with those families i’ll shortly explain what happened with them. And yes, im playing with the calientes in willow creek! I recreated a couple of families from Sims 2 Pleasant View (moved the Calientes to willow creek, Don Lothario lives on his own, deleted Katrina Caliente, created the Pleasant family, created Kaylynn Langerak as a maid, etc. Just to clear up any confusion! I also changed the ages of some to match up with cassandra goths age).  

Rotation 1

Meet Nina Caliente. Currently a hot-headed teen, but she loves romance and is very active. She’s smarter than her twin sister Dina but is still good friends with her.

The twin sisters live with their father Flamenco Caliente, though he is already quite old. Their mom, Nighat Caliente died when they were children. 

Dina and Nina are inseparable twins! Dina is lazy and romantic. 

(Btw, off topic but wtf is this build maxis. I normally like their houses but i’m betting this build was made before the half-wall update or something, I hope so because if half-walls were there from the start then this is unacceptable lmfao)

(Changed it to this and it looks way better imo).

Nina was doing her homework, as she likes a bit of mental challenge! 

For the rest she likes to jog in her free time (...with a coffee cup in her hands because multitasking lmfao).

Meanwhile, Dina was snooping around in one of the richer neighborhoods. She loves to dig for gold after all... 

She met the rich Michael Bachelor, who is living alone near his sister, Bella Goth. They quickly hit it off and she decided to give him a quick peck on the cheek... how cute!

 Deep conversations followed and Dina felt herself slowly crushing on Michael. 

Dina loves hot tubs and Michael just happened to have one in his garden! They shared a kiss in the tub. 

Michael has a Dalmatian named Simis (named after his father, Simis Bachelor). 

Dina decided to greet Simis :3 she isn’t TOO big on animals but also doesn’t mind them that much. 

Later that week, Michael proposed to Dina, as he felt like she was right for him! She accepted. 

They decided to woohoo to celebrate!

Household Kahananui (2)

Rotation 2

Little Bane is left to mostly fend for himself, as his parents are too distracted with work to get him food... He learned by himself to walk to the fridge and grab some food. 

Little Hehu, the second son of Mele and Alika aged up to a toddler! He’s a real silly jokester. 

Alika is obsessed with their big flat screen when he isn’t working. 

Luckily the brothers have each other! Hehu and Bane were getting along very well and found comfort in each other that their parents weren’t there for them. 

Despide that Mele is a pastry chef (level 7) in the culinary career, she managed to start a fire in the kitchen!

Mele loves to nag on Bane when she does give him attention. :(

It was Bane’s birthday! Mele did bake a cake for him (I mean, she’s a cook so she loves baking and cooking), however, they did not throw a party for him...

He turned out Hot-headed, probably because of all the neglect from his parents.

Household Ngata (2)

Rotation 2 (disclaimer: rotation 1 was played before this blog was created. Tane was becoming good friends with Nani, Leila got pregnant (I know shes in a lesbian relationship with Oliana but I wanted them to have a kid that was related to both of them and I didnt want to adopt, so I made Oliana able to make Leila pregnant. I know it’s unrealistic but I wanted to know what a kid from Leila and Oliana looked like! Anyways, Leila gave birth to a boy they named Filemu!)

Leila loves to paint on the dock of the house, with a view out on the vast sea. 

However, it’s not smart to paint in a thunderstorm! She got hit by lightning. 

Leila potty-training Filemu! He’s a clingy toddler, so he wants to do everything together with his parents. 

Leila had gotten a bit fatter from giving birth and wanted to lose some weight! inspired by the bodybuilding done by her wife Oliana, she started to also use the workout equipment. 

Oliana also got hit by lightning while jogging, but she actually got electrically charged!

she decided to have some fun with her new temporary powers :)

Tane wants to become a whiz kid and loves to play chess in his free time.

Time flew by and it was Tanes birthday! The village chief and her grnaddaughter came over to see the aging up. He got the straight edge trait (trait from the basemental drugs mod I have installed, means he doesnt want to do drugs lol). 

Tane aged up! I decided to make him drink an insta-lean potion as he did not seem like the type to be on the fat side as a kid to me.

Doing his homework like the geek he is!

And he had some quality time with his younger half-brother!

Oliana decided to jog while holding her dinner... (Smarter sims huh, EA?)

Eventually it was time for Filemu to age up as well!

He’s an animal enthusiast (will probably want pets soon lol)!

Household Mahi’ai (2)

Rotation 2

(Disclaimer: Nalani got pregnant near the end of rotation one and gave birth to a baby girl while I was off playing other households named Haumea!).

Haumea aged up to a toddler! 

The kids together! Taking care of both of them has been tough on Nalani since she also has to go to high school, but she’s trying her best to provide for them. Since her house is also off the grid (they live pretty far away from civilization), she also can’t really get a job.

Nalani needed some time to herself and chose to nap in the water.

 However she got hit by lightning! :(

Time flies and it’s Mauis birthday! Duane came over to celebrate. 

Maui grew up to a child and got the Child of the Oceans trait!

Household Kealoha (2)

Rotation 2

(Disclaimer: I played rotation 1 before I decided to make this blog so a short rundown of what happened: Duane Talla got into a romantic relationship with the mermaid Nalani Mahi’ai (aged her down to teen). Nani Kealoha aged up to a child and became good friends with Tane Ngata. Liliana and Makao were busy expanding the family, bringing the boy Ekewaka into the world!)

Duane and Nani were bonding over cloudwatching!

Duane was also getting to know Ekewaka, playing with him!

Makao wants his children to be successful and thus helps Nani with her homework. 

Shortly after a new baby boy was born, Semeio! 

Then Semeio aged up to a toddler, the village chief Keala Hoapili was there to see the magic!

Household Hoapili (1)

Rotation 1

Keala Hoapili is the island chief of Sulani and knows most people on the island. She is respected by the community yet feared as she often talks to what seems to be nothing or herself (could it be the island spirits?) and also gets angry quite quickly if natives don’t respect the island culture enough in her opinion. Her trans granddaughter Lia Hauata lives with her as her pupil. Keala knows it’s almost time for her to go since she is an elder and someone needs to become the island chief after her (in sulani only women are allowed to become island chiefs, dems the rules). However, Lia has not been learning fast enough in Kealas opinion, causing her to lash out to her granddaughter from time to time. Lia is a perfectionist, but all this anger does cause her to be sad and gloomy. Also, the village chief is not allowed to have romantic or sexual relationships with anyone, but Lia would love nothing more than to have a child and a family of her own. What if she changes the rules after becoming island chief...? Or would that anger the island spirits?

Keala loves to listen and dance to Island Radio music. The spirits seem to join in with her from time to time! She also likes to go beach combing to clean up the island. 

Lia lives in a separate room away from the big house owned by her grandma. She would love to live in the bigger house, but this will not happen until she gets to be the village chief... Lia is also in the writing career (level 4, advice columnist) and loves to write island themed books.

End of rotation 1 (sorry for lack of pictures with this one i couldnt be bothered to take more as this rotation was slightly boring to play lmfao)

Household Kahananui (1)

Rotation 1 with the Kahananuis

The Kahananuis are real business moguls. They’re island natives but definitely don’t behave this way (I mean come on, they have a pool on their lot even though they live right next to the ocean, so extra lmao). Alika wants to become fabulously rich and reach the top in his business career so he can take over Sulani and turn it into a money-making resort for tourists. Meanwhile, his wife Mele wants the biggest, richest looking house to impress the other natives. Besides that she likes to cook and already has a relatively high place in the culinary career currently.

The two dearly love each other, but they’ve been so focused on their career that they haven’t had the chance to have kids yet (which maybe is for the better). However, they do have 2 empty rooms with beds in them. Maybe it’s time to fill those up...

Look at these two lovebirds, they’re actually very cute together!

One of the few friends Mele ended up making (the Kahananuis are mostly disliked by everyone because of their materialism), is Lilliane since they know each other from work! (Lilliane also works in the culinary career, but unlike Mele who chose the Chef branch, Liliane chose the mixology branch). 

Before the Kahananuis knew it, baby Bane had been born! He aged up to a toddler this rotation (forgot to take a picture teehee oopsie) and he has the Wild trait. He is getting COMPLETELY neglected however by his parents (they only take care of his basic needs and buy him lots of toys, but there’s not much love since they’re only busy with money and themselves). Mele became pregnant again near the end of the week, how will this end for the Bane and unborn baby Kahananui?

Household Mahi’ai (1)

Rotation 1 with Nalani Mahi’ai in Sulani:

Nalani Mahi’ai is a teen mermaid (aged her down so her age matches up with Duane Talla’s age). She lives alone at Key point, an oceanic paradise but it’s far away from civilization (even for Sulani standards). She’s a cheerful mermaid, a real child of the island!

She does not have a job, so her house is very humble, yet cosy. She’s dating Duane Talla, another teen from Sulani that one day washed up on the island with no idea about his identity or family (aside from his name). He got taken in by the Kealohas but met Nalani during one of his daily fishing trips and it was love at first sight. More about Duane later. Nalani is already pregnant here (not visibly yet) from messing around with Duane. She was actually so extremely in love with him that she ended up wanting to engage to him! 

Not being able to resist her mermaid charms, he accepted! (im screaming at the mailbox btw it’s the worst placement for an engagement picture omfg). Makoa Kealoha doesn’t trust Nalani since she’s a mermaid. Mermaids are respected mythicals in the Sulani culture, but it’s also known how dangerous they can be (especially if she turns out to be a Siren; who knows? Makoa has not seen her in her mermaid form). Thus, Nalani and Makoa are close to being enemies. Duane sneaks out every day however to visit Nalani. 

They’re still silly teens! building sand sculptures and swimming together are some of their favourite things to do together. 

As well as dancing!

Nalani also has a pet azure dolphin that she named Azula. 

Eventually Nalani gave birth to her first baby boy! She named him Maui. (side note: i hate that babies from two darker skinned sims can sometimes be completely pasty white like whyyyy ;;)

Nalani continued her daily life with her new baby alive and well! From time to time she cleans up washed up thrash on the beach.

A few days later it was Maui’s birthday! Duane was there to celebrate it with Nalani. Also, only a short while later Nalani found out she was pregnant yet again from Duane!

Story and World rules

This post is meant as kind of an introduction to the rules around my stories and worlds:

1. I usually play with my sims within 1 world. So, sims that are both from Willow Creek for example can know each other and start friendships/relationships, but a sim from Willow Creek and a sim from let’s say Strangerville or Oasis Springs will NOT know each other. A sim can however move to another world if that makes sense story-wise. Also, an exception to this rule is the Forgotten Hollow world, since the sims team decided to literally give this world like 3 lots (why so little?????) I can’t make a cool vampire world without everyone ending up related to everyone. I pretend forgotten Hollow is a neighborhood within Willow Creek, as the environment looks sort of similar? Love that the Sims 4 has to make you use your imagination while that really should not be necessary in this case (ok ill stop complaining now i still love the game dearly lmfao). Same goes for San Myshuno and Del Soy Valley, I feel like those worlds would be close together and if a sim becomes famous they can move to one of the few lots in Del Soy Valley (but a sim from willow creek that becomes famous might also move to Del Soy Valley if there is space and I feel like it makes sense). 

2. I play with every family for 1 sim week at a time and only the played household will be aging up. Then I move on to the next family that will start aging. This way I’m there with all my sims for every step in their life. 

3. I try to play wants-based, though I’ve noticed even after the new overhaul of whims to wants it’s still not THAT fleshed out, so I add a bit of imagination of what my sims would want to do and give them favorite activities based on their aspirations/traits (next to their wants). I also make them do things against their wants if I feel like it fits the story (for example become enemies with a sim they want to befriend according to their wants, but again, only if it fits the story). 

4. I play with barely any mods installed. Of course I do have MCCC (literally cannot play without this godsent mod, RIP console players), as well as some small mods that tweak certain gameplay elements (one of them for example is the option to name your birth certificates honestly why this is not already in the game is beyond me, my kid is not called ‘’authentic birth certificate’’ i hate it sjdksdjksdj). I also play with every expansion/game/stuff pack/kit installed!
