I love this. So much. This makes me want another game of Demise for Season 10

Then Grian got up to his usual tricks 

The name of the game is kill or be killed

No swords no bows no PVP skills

First Rendog found his inner fish

But he couldn’t stick the landing and his bones went squish

Stress flew through the dares with talent and grace

But she didn’t catch the totem and she fell on her face

Then Ren came back with a sinister vice

Tricked X with a race and blew him up twice

Looks like steel beams can’t be melted by slime

‘Cause Jevin didn’t see Mumbo’s tower in time

Stress set a trap at the shopping district

And dropped Scar right into a pufferfish pit

Cub’s stunt got stuck and X felt robbed

So he got a skeleton to finish the job

Tango and Impulse were shopping at the mall

And Keralis threw an egg at the most explosive block  

Now revenge is a dish that’s best served cold 

But Bdubs got it boiling as Cleo foretold

And when Joe got the rug pulled from under his feet

He tried to play it cool but he couldn’t take the heat

It’s 90% explosions as far as the eye can see

Mumbo threw his ender-pearl

So Grian and Impulse forged a team

And together they built a death machine

With a narrative arc from beginning to end

And a wild surprise around every bend

When the show and the ride were finally done

Our champion knew that his course had run

All that remains from the end of this fight 

Is a piece of bloodstained diorite

And I am dying laughing. DYING. Watching him look at an Enderman, die to it because he couldn't hit it because old server lag from back in like 2012. And to hear him say back.... FLASH FORWARD to 2023, Secret Life Episode 7, where he LOOKS AT THE ENDERMAN.

Etho you never learn.... and clearly never stuck to that promise.

I don't know what, exactly made me decide "let's watch Etho's Mindcrack SMP videos for the first time". Videos that are over a decade old, where minecraft looks SO unrecognizable and bizarre compared to what it is now (also oh god it really used to look like that how did I forget?). Because I'm sad. I'm sad because sometimes the holidays are mixed feelings and I can't watch Hermitcraft Season 9 without getting sad because that's ending and Secret Life SMP ended...

The first episode of Season One.... the FIRST EPISODE of Etho ever being on MindCrack. And Bdubs just... gives him the iron armor right off his back oh my gosh. Knowing what I know of these two, of their friendship. It SHOULD not be shocking. It should NOT shock me that this is just how Bdubs is....

And it makes me happy. This was a smart choice... smart decision to start binging tonight.

The dungeon liked Etho.

It liked him so much that it wanted him to always be close.

All was well, since Etho never strayed far from it. 

But it wanted him closer. 

The next time Etho entered, would be the last.

He wouldn’t notice the widening grin underneath his mask, obscured by pure joy and adrenaline coursing through him as he slid past evokers.

Nor would he notice his fingers turning pale grey. His eyes a pure, glowing white to match his hair.

Etho wouldn’t notice until it was too late. Until he became a part of a bigger whole.

This is a dangerous rabbit hole I am about to plunge into and I’m all for it!!!!

haii!!! time to be tortured by another comic for @shepscapades DBHC AU!!

i need to point out, this scene is ✨~NONCANON~✨ to the au, and is kinda just. well i really wanted to create a hypothetical 'what if' scenario to torture shep, honestly. That scenario being, in this case, "hey, what if when Doc and X reboot etho on s9 after the moon crash and he wakes up Wrong and Angry and Bloodlusty, he gets loose on the server before they can shut him down?"

so uh. yeah ^_^ also, look below the cut for ✨fun bonus facts!!✨ (because they got too long to put in the tags)

NUMBER 1!! it got hidden by the text bubble, but in the first panel bdubs is holding his phone. this is because, well, when etho gets out, doc and x immediately start warning ppl. sending messages in chat basically saying 'etho awake, he got out of the lab, something's wrong, he's glitched, he's dangerous, if you see him tell one of us immediately, and BE CAREFUL' and bdubs, of course, processes up to "etho's awake" before dropping everything and going to look everywhere for him. because that's his buddy! etho's been down for repairs for a while he misses him!! he's going to go see his buddy!

2!! in dbh (the actual game), when an android's stress level gets too high, they pretty much start looking for a way to terminate themselves. of course, i'm sure this holds no bearing to the comic! definitely no relation with etho throwing himself into pvp as his stress level skyrockets...

and 3! there's a couple of ways this can end. either, doc and x arriving and one of them having to hold bdubs back as the other deactivates etho, or, option 2, well... at least bdubs will respawn far away and not have to watch :) i'm sure this won't be traumatizing for either of them ^_^
