The funny thing is: The worst Aegon II haters aren't Team Blacks, they're Team Greens. Usually Aemond stans.

TBs who hate Aegon hate him, but they're usually (usually) normal about it. TG Aegon haters? They're literally out here writing fanfics about him raping his wife (so Aemond can save her, uwu 🥺), his daughter, his mother, his sons (probably), his brothers, and his nephews. They're disturbingly feral about it, it's like crack to them.

Aegon finds Helaena in their rooms, the unimaginable happened, they killed their firstborn son, like cowards they didn’t come for the King but his innocent son and Queen. Helaena is sobbing, wailing, the crying that only a mother can accomplish, she looks at Aegon, hot and burning rage flashes through her bloodshot eyes.

“Where were you?! He is dead!” Helaena pushes Aegon with all of her strength but it little to affect him, his eyes were red with unshed tears, he couldn’t cry, not in front of Helaena, he had no right, she saw it happening.

“Aegon…our son, my son, he’s dead.” She holds her stomach, the place where she carried Jaehaerys, when she made silent promises that he will always be loved, and safe with her, and Helaena realised that was a lie, she lied to her own son.

Helaena breaks down and falls into Aegon’s arms, he quickly picks her, he holds her and Helaena lets out is harrowing, the pain of losing a child is like losing your soul.

“I’ll kill them all.” Aegon’s voice held, anger, hatred and determination, nothing would stop him, he would avenge his son and his wife. “I will make them pay.” Helaena cries in his arms, Aegon trying to comfort her by petting her hair.

“I promise, they will pay for what they did.”

Aegon Poster Analysis

Hey guys, so I'm back...and I have a lot of thoughts, probably gonna ramble a lot but what else is new?

I love that his first poster is him on the throne, I mentioned to some of my mutuals that Aegon's face is different from the poster but not totally different.

In the poster he is still doubtful of his position, he still doesn't want to King but unlike the travesty of episode 9, he not completely against the idea of being King, he is deciding being King or not but he's coming around.

I believe that is completely intentional that Criston is there, in season 2 we will probably see Criston guiding Aegon, even before Otto is fired which fuels the Otto getting fired later.

"My hand is a steel fist." Aegon will be the closest to Criston.

As we saw in that disgusting episode 9, only Criston's presence made Aegon move, he touched his shoulder in a fatherly way and only then Aegon moved.

The way that Aegon is sitting signals that he really doesn't want this, he never saw this as his fate and he is struggling to accept it, waiting for the trailer.

Also, it's interesting that Aegon is the furthest away from Alicent...my analysis about their relationship was right, Aegon won't go to her at all.

Also also, Aegon and Rhaenys are almost in the same place is to foreshadow Rook's Rest? 👀

But most importantly...

Aegon resigned to the fact that his mother’s words were correct.
