Question, what’s your opinion on the drama that tubbo is “genuinely homophobic”

i literally just saw the 5 seconds ago, I have never seen a take that is so bait like so ridiculous so nonsensical be done completely seriously. Imagine going ummm actually I think gay men are not allowed to use a silly caricature to make fun of homophobia towards his two straight friends.

Like I want to believe it’s bait that’s how bad it is, but like that’s one of our guys I know it’s not bait I know it’s meant to be genuine. Imagining having the gall to @ the cc like you have to be a horrible person to do that, you should be never at the point you want to publicly shame a gay man for making homophobia jokes.

Also he has literally never done anything close to hate-crime level that is a take and a half.

You know what's sad about this? They mocked Tubbo for the leadership fiasco that day and said Bolas would take him seriously unlike Blue, so he could just wear a mask and go to them any time.

Spoiler alert: they didn't take him seriously.

Why are people crying about metagaming when the first day of Purgatory Slime was literally snooping in on plans in other peoples VCs.

People are accusing tubbo of metagaming because he happened to look offscreen before telling his team he thinks cellbit is at his base but like, im like 99% sure he was looking at the screen where he was messaging his dad

For Tubbo being literally the main focus of the advertisement for the lore today, I was also disappointed that he was only involved in ten minutes of legitimate lore. The rest was him waiting for Fred :(

i was really hoping that q!tubbo would find fred trapped and then have an argument/fight with q!quackity about it that would end up with fred or himself getting severely hurt or killed...idk a lot of tubbo's stream was no lore i just wish more happened. maybe next time!

Dash has been talking about it so I wanna say that people calling Tubbo a rule breaker are really falling into the narrative that the Federation is spinning. Most of the rules Tubbo broke weren't put in place until afterwards.

The major rule-breaking Tubbo has done can be considered in the form of trying to go to the nether or breaking into the Federation offices both things which other islanders have also done and gotten little to no punishment including using chorus fruits/bikes to try to break in stuff.

The other rule breaking would be him trying to attack the Fed building but don't forget Phil was there the whole time also engaging in the act but initially only Tubbo got punished and it not until after he complained about that that the Feds punished Phil as well.

As for the drills, it was only after Tubbo made his drills that they placed the rules for 5x5 drills. The Federation literally saw Tubbo - a new islander - as the perfect scapegoat to thrust the whole blame for needing a nerf even though Bad, Pierre and Forever all have had same sized big drills since a long time. Now the Tubhole - it is not illegal since he's not using drills and they are literally allowed to build anywhere.

It sucks that Tubbo is now being seen as a nuisance by the whole island and is only viewed like a kid who is causing chaos and needs "babysitting" even though most of his actions have been to get answers mostly about the eggs. Which directly means that the Fed plan is working - they can continue to put any and all restrictions and just blame Tubbo for it and the islanders will just eat it up on face value.

guys no one will be annoyed by the big hole tubbo is digging. like they will most likely find it very comedic. also be shocked he did it in a few hours. also he will decorate it. I think over time it will develop into an interesting point of hte server with cool builds like the wall did. Its an odd location but if he plans to decorate it he could get some cool stuff forming

Anyways, Fred was killed by the federation as soon as his letters to Tubbo were discovered and either Cucurucho or someone else (in the federation or not) is manipulating Tubbo via the letters and he is accidentally playing right into their hands because of his want to gain knowledge on the federation and his naïveté

just saying this right now i will be defending any actions q!tubbo is taking, including snitching on bad. He just wants a friend and Fred is his friend. He’s being loyal to Fred by telling him about this! He did absolutely nothing wrong, just look at him. Does that look like a guy who does wrong things?

I would watch it only because I know he’d find a way to glitch out of the cell an hour and a half into the first stream.

realistically, i don't think tubbo would ever let his character experience a kidnapping arc unless someone drags him away from that damn computer, but because of this his existence on the island is so comedic. like anybody else wouldve gotten got by now in some way, shape, or form with all the federation-annoying things tubbo does, but he hasn't. he is a weed in cucurucho's carefully maintained front lawn and they've just run out of weedkiller. he is the jerry to cucurucho's tom, even.

Don’t get me wrong, I think watching Tubbo try to escape the island on a train through a nether portal is hilarious, but if we were to take this completely seriously and ic, q!Tubbo is out here having a mental breakdown trying to escape the island and the Federation is doing everything in their power to stop him. Just the way he’s screaming about it, it’s so funny but in an angsty context it’s kind of sad. Poor q!Tubbo, he’s already losing it not even a month in. Give him his godkids back!
