Neah watched as his s/o picked the lock. Their tongue poking out of their mouth, eyebrows slammed together in intense focus and eyes narrowed. Holding a bobby pin in one hand and a piece of a small, thin metal on the other, they were certainly trying to break into the library.

“How much longer do we-,”

“Oh, my god. Nea, can you like, fuck off a second?” They whispered back harshly, stopping their task briefly to glare at him from the corner of their eye. “Do you think breaking a lock is easy?” Nea shook his head in denial. “Exactly, so please, shut the fuck up.” They went back to their work.

“Do you really think this is a good idea, though?”

Nea smirked, “of course.”

They huffed in displeasure. “If you get caught Allen is going to kill you.”

“I know, but mama ain’t raise no bitch, my love.”

His s/o snorted with laughter, a small smile playing on their lips. With a flick of their wrist the locked broke, making a small ‘ping’ sound. Cringing, they hoped that the sound hadn’t alerted Allen. Sighting, they fixed Nea with a questioning stare. “Again, are sure you want to do this?”

Pulling out black marker pen from his coat pocket, Nea snickered, the mischievous glint liting up his dark eyes. “Let me show you how it’s done, love.”

“Your funeral.”
