barely restraining myself from sending 50 brainrot.exe posts as reference material for My Thoughtsies. but anyway. heart and mind were friends and in a strange way they always trust each other at least a little bit. like sure they don’t trust the other to not be meansies but they trust the other to be There. to bandage them when theyre injured. what was i talking about anyway heart and mind trust each other somehow. it’s sickening but they do.

also uhhh my headcanon for mind is that he started out just as human as heart and soul but he. took off his hands. it’s this obsession with perfection that he always has. he wanted to be perfect and cold and steady. his body has always betrayed him. and he wanted to distance himself from heart from the most human thing any of them have. so he took off his hands. and then his eye, which was more of just. an obsession with hurting himself that he didn’t know how to stop. an obsession with what it would feel like and sound like that never abated. i’m normal

so like yeah. his hands hurt too much. it was just too much for him. he intended to take himself apart, replace every bit of his body with metal, become Perfect, but it was just too much. (this is obviously not rational and if youre questioning how he expected to do this the answer is he didn’t think it through. cause at the core of all that was this itch. his body itches with how imperfect it is itches with violence and he doesn’t know what to DO so he pasted over an explanation and a rationale instead of trying to cope because he COULDN’T cope because how else would he go about it whenever all he knows for sure as coping is violence and violence and more violence and yelling at heart for nothing with a hope heart would throw glass at him again, harder, at his eyes maybe, just something to make him stop thinking. anyway)
