Who are we?
Hello !! We are a group of Grade 12s located in Vancouver, BC, hoping to bring awareness and destigmatize talking about abusive relationships and sexual harassment.
Being open about a sensitive topic like this can be extremely difficult, but we want to show others that they should not be afraid to speak up on their own experiences. Statistically, 81% of women and 43% of men have experienced some type of sexual harassment, yet not many people talk about it. We believe that if we create a more open and accepting place, we will be able to recognize the severity of the problem and to what scale it is at.
We hope that the stories shared here will help inspires others to speak up, and hold people accountable for their actions. Our inbox is also not restricted to stories! Advice is also welcomed, as we want this to become a safe space for survivors to help others who may be in similar circumstances. Thank you!
