In the year 2157, the world ended. With the slate wiped clean and substantial evolutionary changes in their midst, mankind’s only option was to look forward. Colonies around the world rose and came together with a common goal: to find a way to adapt to this new landscape and hopefully uncover some answers concerning what was beginning to look increasingly like a new species of man.
THE INFECTIONS...
Some called them THE INFECTED. Others called them THE EVOLVED. But whatever the case, the real science behind the sudden development of these unexplained abilities in about sixty percent of the reported surviving population, was baffling colony researchers on an international level. And though some looked on these changes with promise and passion, there remained those who saw these ‘Infected’ as a threat. With humankind on the brink of extinction, what would these new evolutions mean? Would they help or harbour any chance they might have at a future?

After nearly five years of living in peace and compromise, a group calling themselves the NEW WAVE REFORMISTS rose to power and formed an unforgiving government that mandated all citizens with ‘unnatural’ abilities were to be contained and monitored. With democracy out the window, opposing parties formed: The REBELS and the RADICALS make up the other side of what may very well come to be the first post-apocalyptic war and it is up to each survivor to decide who and what they’re fighting for.
      The time has come to take a stand;
              Will you REFORM or will you REVOLT?

On a small island just off the coast of England is Colony 22, one of the smallest that has come to rise, and citizens are sorted into houses and trained in skills of battle, survival—and evolution.
It is estimated that over sixty percent of the lives that were spared in this unexplained, natural disaster now referred to as ’D-Day’, are carriers of an unpredictable “infection”. Some have developed stronger senses, such as sight and smell, while others have reported changes such as Telekinesis or Telepathy. Others, have simply gone mad.

But in the fifth year post D-Day, everything changed again. Suddenly, the goals are not so common, and mankind witnesses its first truly threatening post-apocalyptic division. The ideals of peaceful rebuilding already in the rearview mirror, the truth can’t be avoided any longer: war is coming, and the apocalypse, as it turns out, was only the beginning.
Colony 22 is a highly literate, post-apocalypse & scifi RP. With inspiration imaginatively drawn from many of your favourite stories, including X-Men, the Hunger Games, Divergent, Harry Potter and Ender’s Game, this is a roleplay unique to the name.

On a small island just off the coast of England is Colony 22, one of the smallest that has come to rise, and citizens are sorted into houses and trained in skills of battle, survival—and evolution.
It is estimated that over sixty percent of the lives that were spared in this unexplained, natural disaster now referred to as ’D-Day’, are carriers of an unpredictable “infection”. Some have developed stronger senses, such as sight and smell, while others have reported changes such as Telekinesis or Telepathy. Others, have simply gone mad.
With the slate wiped clean and substantial evolutionary changes in their midst, mankind’s only option is to look forward. Colonies around the world come together with a common goal: to adapt to the changes of this new world, to hopefully uncover some answers, and most importantly, to survive.
But in the fifth year post D-Day, everything changed again. Suddenly, the goals are not so common, and mankind witnesses its first truly threatening post-apocalyptic division. The ideals of peaceful rebuilding already in the rearview mirror, the truth can’t be avoided any longer: war is coming, and the apocalypse, as it turns out, was only the beginning.
Colony 22 is a highly literate, post-apocalypse & scifi RP. With inspiration imaginatively drawn from many of your favourite stories, including X-Men, the Hunger Games, Divergent, Harry Potter and Ender’s Game, this is a roleplay unique to the name.

WELCOME TO COLONY 22 | A Literate, Original Roleplay
In the year 2157, the world ended.
With the slate wiped clean and substantial evolutionary changes in their midst, mankind’s only option was to look forward. Colonies around the world rose and came together with a common goal: to find a way to adapt to this new landscape and hopefully uncover some answers concerning what was beginning to look increasingly like a new species of man. 
THE INFECTIONS...
Some called them THE INFECTED. Others called them THE EVOLVED. But whatever the case, the real science behind the sudden development of these unexplained abilities in about sixty percent of the reported surviving population, was baffling colony researchers on an international level. And though some looked on these changes with promise and passion, there remained those who saw these ‘Infected’ as a threat. With humankind on the brink of extinction, what would these new evolutions mean? Would they help or harbour any chance they might have at a future? 
THE NEW WAVE DECREE...
After nearly five years of living in peace and compromise, a group calling themselves the NEW WAVE REFORMISTS rose to power and formed an unforgiving government that mandated all citizens with ‘unnatural’ abilities were to be contained and monitored. With democracy out the window, opposing parties formed: The REBELS and the RADICALS make up the other side of what may very well come to be the first post-apocalyptic war and it is up to each survivor to decide who and what they’re fighting for.
