Call me Linn She/Her.

Mainly into South Park for the characters and comedy. Blog me if i annoy you. I sometimes post alot when i feel like it and there's nothing else to do. Might repeat myself. Chaotic mess with no real structure. Prepare yourself. Like start writing fanfictions. Might post them one day. I'm lazy.
Interested in Character discussions. Prepare for some incontinuity. Tend to change mind alot.
Its not just because he is fat i hc I'm short as an adult. It's the way he behaves that makes it hilarious. Making him short just adds more to his insecurities and more comedic.
call me a stickler for canon but it drives me crazy when cartman is labled as short the show purposefully makes him the tallest of the main 4 being fat doesn’t mean you can’t be tall

my headcanon is that he would look better if he actually took care of himself.
He eats like shit. You know the saying, you are what you eat.
He also has a poor hygiene often not even caring about washing himself or brushing his teeth. So he has in my hc bad teeth and acne.
He's greasy he puts oil all over his body to avoid a vaccine. He's gross sorry.
he's not ugly because is face is out of proportion or anything. he's unhygienic and that makes him unattractive.
When it comes to the “Cartman grows up to be ugly and unsuccessful”  matter, first i’d like to say: The South Park kids all have the same  faces so people are free to headcanon them as they wish. The only thing  thay differs Cartman from the others is cause is fat.
The parents argue we use is cause biologycally saying if his dad was a  famous football player who was attractive to many women and his mom is  pretty much the (or one of the) most beaultiful women in town, i believe  is pretty hard that Cartman wouldnt have any attractive featuretes.
Considering he pulled much from his mother’s family side, he does have a  easy weight gain as well, so what it looks like to me is that people  see him as ugly just cause he’s fat and… No? People can be  overweighted and still be attractive.
About the success part, C'mon, as a kid  the one that shows more talent  for business, show business and music, i find really hard to believe he  wouldnt find a way to have money lol
Kyle and cartman are dating. cartman's mom marries a man who hits him. cartman becomes a heavy alcoholic and starts to put Kyle through hell emotionally. Stan despises cartman and has no pity for him.
it's a fic that exists. i've read it once. it was weird.
please can they make it abt Stan & kyles friendship. and not let cartman intervene.
Randy is gonna infect everyone with covid 2.0
Look what I found. Is that for real? Damnit! Why tf South Park official Twitter page, and their official website don’t post the news faster than other resources? Cuz they should. Instead,we,fans, have to seek for it by ourselves. It’s from IMDb btw

Also, I wouldn't necessarily call Kenny a pushover. (Butters gets talked and threatened into things a lot more, not helped by his naivety) If Kenny feels insulted, he will bite back. He's not someone who picks unnecessary fights. (I'd say he feels more pragmatic? Or just someone who would do what's more "fun" or "better" at the moment; and that can include cutting himself off from his friend's plans or going off on his own. Like the Bike Parade or making a vigilante Ninja Club with Token)
Yeah,
I meant Kenny gets easily pushed around. That doesn't mean he is always going to be a total pushover.
But his friends often drag him into plans he doesn't even seem to want.
Kenny is very selfless and loyal. ( too selfless imo)
And this makes his friends easier to drag him along with their plans. If that makes sense.
Yeah, a character being quiet doesn't mean that they don't have personality or development to speak of. It just means you have to look at them in a slightly different way to 'understand' them, like body language. (If you're only looking at Kenny's words [or his deaths] to get his personality, you're gonna miss a huge chunk of his character) For a show that has a lot of loud characters, it actually makes Kenny stand out more for not being heavily opinionated. It's fun to see him in his own world.
Wow, I'm getting asks.
I do think Kenny is more a supporting character than a main character.
From the main four he gets the least development. Even less than Butters.
Kennys body language is hard to pick, though if over half his face is covered.
I do think the personality of him, being a quiet kid is pretty consistent.
I've always viewed Mysterion as Kennys more braver side. Being dressed as Mysterion gives Kenny the courage to be more assertive.
Kenny hasn't really shown to be assertive. He gets easily pushed around. Butters dragged him to Hawaii, Stan dragged him along to get the money back from Mel Gibson.
Kennys overprotective bold side is Mysterion.
Loved to hear further discussion.
i am sorry guys but someone has to say it. kenny does not have any personality in the canon. he’s constantly used as a plot tool and nothing else. loving a sister or being immortal is not a personality trait. honestly i am so goad that fandom did it’s job and gave him some actual personality
he does very emotional in certain situations. but at the same time still seems to be closed off and not really wanting help.
in raisins I would argue he reacted normally. it's mostly the fandom who tends to overdramatize this. he gets dumped, is sad about it. ofc. we also just see his pov. so you can't really tell how Wendy feels or is doing. so it's easier to make her an evil witch. it could be because he missed her pov. and for a while was just about his broken heart.
it gets worse when he falls into depression in ygo. this is new for him. He was acting in a toxic way in these episodes. but still this was a first time so it was kinda expected.
another thing could be is because he complains about his dad the most. which doesn't mean he has the worst daddy issues. but Randy can be annoying. Randy is fun and all. but god Lord as a father. dealing with him 24/7. none of the other kids would complain about their dad's. and I do kinda think it's in a way healthy he does. that he sees his father is in many ways fucked up and does vent about it. unlike butters, Kenny, Kyle or cartman who either repress it or don't even see it as fucked up.
don’t get me wrong; i hate that some people constantly make stan out to be the victim (because he isn’t always) but he does seem to have a little of a victim complex himself
don't make him a ladies man. that's so cringe. omg.
makes someone so unlikeable imo.
If Matt and Trey REALLY wanted to give us a good relationship in the show, they would have Stan be a ladies’ man like his inspiration! He’d move on from that evil Wendy and get to another girl to be his true and positive love, like Trey totally did with Toddy. And then Emma. And then Boogie. Hey, wait a minute. Maybe that’s not a good idea, Stan doesn’t need more baggage from writers’ relationship frustrations. Man :(
Are there any good fanfics out there that focus on teenage Cartman without him being shipped with someone, but focus on his lack of having a father?
I'm curious to know. I feel like there is so much writing potential you can do with Cartman, without putting him in a relationship.
( tbh when i think of teenage cartman the last thing i think abt is, him being in a relationship with someone and more the mess he becomes. if you still like to ship cartman. do it whatever. )
Cartman is a very complex character. Reading about his struggles as a teenager would be very interesting imo.
God, I really didn't like her in that episode tbh.
she's kinda cool in most others.
how do people still think candy was one sided and wendy was the only one with feelings?! look at how visibly disappointed cartman was once she said she had completely lost feelings and walked off with stan
If you feel like this. Maybe try taking a break or something.
I would be sad if you left. But if that's what you want to do I understand.
Listen everyone. I’ve been thinking of deactivating my Tumblr account.
As you may know from my blunt, immature, and inconsistent nature, while this is technically something of a blog dedicated to “analysis” for South Park and its characters, this blog is not meant to be taken seriously in any way, shape, or form.
South Park is my special interest, and while I still enjoy the show I’ve wished the whole time I wasn’t this obsessed with a cartoon that is viewed as edgy, bigoted, and really just a show for dudebros and teenage edgelords. And I have expressed my negative attitude towards this website a number of times. When I started blogging here, I simply thought I could dump my uneducated, juvenile, pretentious, angry content and worst takes to a place where all that and worse was accepted and even encouraged. I could vent my dark side into this place.
But, change is a funny thing. I have gained an appreciative following, some damn good friends, and after all this time confidence. But, I fucked up as usual and let my ego get the best of me. I was a little too proud of my “crapposting” so I tagged to no end, let my opinions become “fact”, and let myself be exposed outside as owning this blog, the thing I feared most. Now my blog has gotten undesired attention on trusted, mature sites.
I have hidden my tumblr from people who aren’t signed in, and who knows what will happen if that doesn’t slow anything. You have been warned.
This is a small subtle hint of Cartman not having a Dad, in the Episode Clubhouses.
Before this, has to be said, this does not mean we women can't build clubhouses.
Stan goes to ask Randy on how to build a clubhouse.
The result is this:
Cartman doesn't ask anyone on how to build one, the result is this:
This mess. What even is this? Cartman had the expectations that his mother couldn't help him with it. What I am sure she really doesn't.
As a boy Cartman doesn't have a dad to show him certain stuff, he wants to learn from.
I mean Liane could have learned how to certain things aswell. But would Cartman let her help him?
I found this to be a nice comparison of a boy having a father and a boy of having no father. And I wanted to share this.
As far as my interpretation goes, I'm also applying this to the teenage years when Cartman has to shave, and unlike the other boys he doesn't know how and ends up with cuts and bruises on his face.
