The country currently has only 500 ventilators and only 700 intensive care unit beds.

More then 30 of 41 major U.N. programs are going to close in the next few weeks if additional funding isn’t made available.

They have had to halt health services for women giving birth in 150 hospitals.

2 million children under 5 suffer from acute malnutrition.

Due to COVID-19, 7 million children are out of school.

Due to the war in Yemen at least half of it’s medical facilities have been rendered dysfunctional while dealing with the worst cholera outbreak in modern times with 110,000 cases as of April.

As of May 30, 2020, only 2,678 people out of 28 million Yemenis have been tested.

What’s going on in Yemen is heartbreaking.

with the pandemic going around, there are still many injustices in the world that need to be stood up for. now is the time to use our voices together and fight for what is right, and this starts with educating ourselves. here’s a carrd full of petitions that you can sign regarding the black lives matter movement. if you want to donate but you don’t have the money to do so, you can stream these videos! please turn off your adblockers, avoid skipping, keep the volume at 50% or higher and viewing the videos shall not be of a resolution lower than 480p. the creators will be donating the money made from these videos to causes that support the movement. 

on the other hand, my country, which is the phillipines, has also been going through something right now. our president ordered the anti-terrorism bill as urgent. why is it crucial? the bill allows the police, law enforcement, and the military to carry out warrantless arrests without incurring liability. “any suspicion by state institutions such as PNP and AFP is enough basis for being considered terrorists.” in shorter terms, ANYONE can be a suspected terrorist. this could take away the rights of every filipino to speak out and oppose to whatever the government is doing.
