12.  Describe your perfect writing space

Sat in a quiet little cafe with a table all to myself. I've got a pot of earl grey tea with cold milk as well as a little bottle of tasty fruit juice, a sandwich made of pesto and sun-dried tomatoes and a scrumptious slab of cake.

My laptop is in front of me, document open to my writing. My phone is on the charger, connected to my headphones, playing a 5 hour playlist of lofi music- might be Ghibli themed, might be space themed, we'll see how it feels

I'm wearing something cute but incredible comfortable that lets me move around by has enough weight to give gentle pressure.

The cafe is not bright but not dark, the perfect middle ground of light that's not going to bother me sensory wise

There is a free bathroom and parking onsite

If this cafe is also a library then I'm never leaving and I've probably died and gone to heaven I had a space like this ONCE and I've literally never gotten over how great it was

16.  How many drafts do you need until you’re satisfied with a project?

tbh it depends? I've re-written Urchin Quest a dozen times but once I have a first draft of my goblin series written I'm usually quite happy. I always draft up a synopsis chapter by chapter, but then I blast the entire chapter out in one go and 8/10 times I'm happy with it.

I prefer to write the entire book before going back to change things, it makes it easier to be consistent for me.

Urchin Quest tho oh man the original ending to that story is SOOOOO different than the current end
