(finally im making an actual post again /hj)  i have been hit with a wave of crossover shipping brainrot so YIPPEE its a post about how crossovers are cool and swag as fuck  - It’s more than ok to brainrot/hyperfixtate/whatever you wanna call it on a crossover or a crossover ship!!! if anything I think it’s super cool  - You’re not being cringe or harming anything about the cannon of a franchise/series by making crossovers  - Its ok if you crossover just because you decided to mash together two of your interests for shits and giggles, or if you actually want to explore how different characters and universes would interact with each other! Both are just as cool and engaging! - If your story/fanfic is centered around a crossover, it’s not “lesser” than fanfics/stories that... well, aren’t focused on crossovers. At the end of the day, the value of the story is decided by how much you enjoyed the process, and how much you enjoy thinking about your story  - At the end of the day! Go fucking nuts!!! Make those romantic/queerplatonic ships, make those platonic pairs, make those sibling dynamics, make those enemies, make those big group meetups of all your favorite characters, or not, just do what makes you happy!!!!

yknow what imma do some positivity posts, heres one now!! Mostly centered around media enjoyment - It’s not cringe to have a preference for more lighthearted media  - It’s more than valid to be mainly invested in stories that have a happy ending, to not really be an enjoyer of heavy angst, or in general you aren’t really a fan of super plot heavy shows  - It’s ok if at first you’re invested in a show/media that deals with heavy topics/horrow, but then said heavy topics/horror get to be too much for you and you decide that for you own sake you’re not going to focus on the show anymore - It’s ok to just enjoy comedy shows and not really want to get invested in multi-season long plotlines  - And it’s also ok to want to get invested in multi-season long plotlines!  - It’s ok to enjoy cartoons, at the end of the day if it makes you happy, then who’s to really stop you! - It’s ok to enjoy a media despite its flaws, at the end of the day you don’t have to 100% love or 100% hate anything, it’s all about what it means to you and what kind of enjoyment it brings you  - At the end of the day, if you’re enjoying something and having harmless fun, then you’re more than valid!!! Most people turn to media for escapism and whatnot, so do what makes you feel happy!

EPIC INTRO POST!

Hi there, you can call me Buttons or Queenie, whichever name works for you, I’ll have most of my posts tagged under Buttons however, just for the sake of constancy. I’m 18, however I will not accept any sort of NSFW/NSFT submissions/talk on this blog. MAYBE mild suggestive jokes, but I know a lot of people aren’t comfortable with NSFW/sexual topics so as such I’ll avoid them as much as possible. I use she/he/they and some neos, my main ones being kni/knives, zeep/zeeple, room/rang, and dia/diam, and I’m bi, greyace, autistic, and genderqueer. And I self ship and I love crossovers, so theres that as well.

Anyhoo, welcome! This blog is dedicated to discussing and dismantling cringe culture/fandom cringe poisoning, and also for providing people a safe space to talk about things such as interests, headcannons, crossovers, ideas, identity and whatnot! 

RULES/BYF (these apply for asks, submissions, ect.): - Try to avoid bringing up heavy topics, such as extreme angst, wump, extreme gore whatever people call it these days. You can talk about light angst and whatnot, just make sure to include the appropriate content warnings - I will not allow any sort of dead dove do not eat/proship content on this blog  - I do not want to engage in fandom discourse, it’s draining and at the end of the day that’s not really what this blog is for.  - I WON’T ALLOW ANY SORT OF KINK/NSFW, PERIOD.
