Crispy Buddies- #7 Dark Choco/Bittersweet

Height- 6 inches

Main Traits- (If taken well care of, Also Known as Bittersweet-) Confident, Protective, Out-Spoken, (If Mistreated and/or works for a Dark Enchantress, Dark Choco-) Quiet, Low Self-Esteem, Protective of those he cares for

Special Abilities- Stronger than he looks, if he has managed to grasp a deadly strawberry jam sword, then he will be able to cast small dark lightnings

Gets along with- (Bittersweet-) Milk, Yam (Friendly Rivalry if introduced properly), Dark Cocoa (Dark Choco-) Milk (But is it quite one sided)

Neutral with- Everyone else

Tension with- Dark Enchantress and the other cookies of darkness (Except for poison mushroom)

Like some Buddies, this buddy can have almost two similar yet different forms depended on how they are treated etc, This buddy isnt different, lets start with Bittersweet, A buddy fresh out of the oven and ready to protect those he loves, he acts like a knight and will often be like one, protecting his family, helping with chores, training, etc, He has a honorable nature and will often do noble things like return a stolen wallet, and he is a proud buddy who will take on any challenges,

However, if a Bittersweet is subjected to prolonged abuse, then he will slowly turn into dark choco, now keep in mind, Dark Chocos cannot be baked from the start, as they are a victim of abuse and this can be seen from his sudden change of personality, he becomes more solemn, quiet and has low self-esteem, constantly thinking that he must’ve done something wrong to be abused and so believes he deserves the worst, he only joins a group of cookies of darkness because he thinks he deserves it, 

Dark Chocos buddies found in the bakery are rescues and can be adopted by any means, however, a person must be very patient, understanding and kind to be able to adopt one, as helping him gain some confidence is quite the challenge, unfortunately, the trauma makes him unable to be as confident and out going as a Bittersweet again, as he will still be more quiet and reserved, 

Bittersweets tend to Symphatized with Dark chocos, knowing what makes them the way they are, so Bittersweets buddies tend to try and help them back up, But Dark Chocos buddies often feel guilty as they might be grabbing a Bittersweet’s attention away from other things and so may avoid them, but they can get along, often acting like siblings, as both have the desire to protect those they trust, their adopter for instance.

(The other two are under the cut cuz this is getting long lmao)

Height- 5 inches

Crispy Buddies- #8 Red Velvet

Main Traits- Fierce, Intimidating but soft and caring interior (Tsundere?????)

Special Abilities- Able to stretch his cake arm and use them like a grappling hook

Gets along with- (If working with Dark Enchantress) Dark Enchantress

Neutral with- Everyone else

Tension with- (If working with Dark Enchantress) Pastry

This Unique Buddy is Half Cake and Half cookie, as seen by his other much more intimidating cake arm and eye, with him also carrying a scary looking sword, but even if he is even as intimadating as he looks, there is no hiding that soft spot to those he trusts and cake hounds, often using his clawed cake hand to scratch anyone who dares to try and harm them

He is very known for always having atleast a cake hound with him, when adopting one, they will be also given a free cake hound just for him and they can also come back to adopt more if they like to, Gain his trust and he will be loyal to you as a cake hound himself, often sitting on his adopter’s shoulders to watch and get a better view, also secretly likes head pats

Like the other cookies of darkness, if he or his cake hound is mistreated, then he will attempt to escape and join a group of said buddies if possible, the whole ordeal will leave him more mistrusting of humans and aggresive towards them, he can be adopted again but it will take more time to gain his trust 

He can be in a big family but may have trouble socializing with others buddies than cake hound due to being half cake, so slow introduction is a must, two red velvets can get along but will just often ignore one another and continue on their way.

Height- 4 inches

 Crispy Buddies- #9 Licorice

Main Traits- Mischievious, Socially Awkward, Dorky (But tries to make himself cool, works 50/50% of the time)

Special Abilties- Can summon small licorice bodyguards, they are merely 1 inch so they can’t really do that much damage to you unless theres like thousands of them

Gets along with- (If working for Dark Enchantress) Dark Enchantress

Neutral with- Everyone else

Tension with- Most of the *Younger* Buddies

Carrying a grim looking scythe and tend to wear a hooded cloak, This buddy seems be intimadating but then he talks and tries to be initimidating and then you realized he’s a small dork who just loves attention and praises, so he is not really intimidating in any means, but he’s very lovable and if taken care well, will stay by your side no matter what, he also comes with two free companions, a small bat-cat and a werewolf cupcake, 

In terms of strenght, he isn’t really that strong, I mean, A common nickname given to him by kids are called “Old rags Cookie” which he hates, but in terms of magic, he is decently powerful tho he can only summon only like 3 licorice servants unless given some equipment to summon more, two licorices buddies tend to try and see who is the “Stronger” one among them but really they are equal in terms, 

He is naturally mischievious and if in a stable and caring environment, will pull out pranks with good intentions like making both parties laugh, he will want to be seen as a favorite so if there are other buddies he will get a bit jealous if you started giving more attention to them and may intimidate them using his licorice servants so they’ll leave the adopter alone, of course just make sure to give them equal attention to avoid any fights

If Abused/Mistreated, he will flee and find any Dark Enchantress to serve to get revenge AND get the approval he longed for, like the other cookies of darkness, he can be rescued and adopted again, tho it will take a lot of time for him to trust a human again and will probably be very intimidated and will hide for a few days so be patient

Main Traits- Devoted (on whom it Depends) , Cunning, Stoic

Special Abilities- Can see glimpse of some events with her mirrors, can also fire shards of sharp redish broken mirrors at intruders

Gets along with- Dark Enchantress (If she's working for her)

Neutral with- Everyone else

Tension with- (If working with Dark Enchantress) Also Everyone she deems lower than her

A certainly interesting Buddy, A small priestess who has selfless devotion to whoever she see's fit it, if adopted straight from the store or even just rescued before A dark enchantress buddy found her and taken well care of, This buddy will act more like a servant/assistant to her adopter rather than a friend, holding them in extremely high regard, obeying every rule set to her, calling them master, doing whatever she is told and helping them in any way she can

Because of this, she will also follow her Adopter's ideals and whether will follow them no matter if they are good or evil, Despite her stoic and often neutral expressions, she cares deeply to those that she serves and will often warn them about any events in the future that may have negative consequences,

However, if A Pomegranate buddy is abuse/mistreated and it goes too far, she may attempt to flee, this is usually how a dark enchantress buddy will recruit them, promising revenge agaisnt the creatures (Humans) who has hurted her, and so, she will follow the dark enchantress and see her as her hero, Do note that even if you managed to rescue a dark enchantress and her cookies of darkness AND gain her trust (Which is possible but extremely hard), The Pomegranate will never take orders from the adopter and will follow the dark enchantress unless told otherwise by her

In terms of protecting her adopter, she will fire red broken shards of glass at the intruder and will not hesistate to sacrifice herself to protect her adopter from any harm, if she managed to glimpse the event in her mirror, she will inform them of the up coming intruder, when two pomegranates meet, they will often pretend that the other doesn't exist and go about their way, she is often adopted by rich families or anyone who wished to have a loyal assitant.

Main Traits- Caring, Adventurous, Motherly (Or should I say Grandmotherly?)

Special Abilities- Tanky, Very strong shield bash

Gets along with- Almost Everyone

Neutral with- None

Tension with- Dark Enchantress and most of the Cookies of Darkness

Despite being baked with some Hollies, This Buddy is as friendly and charming as she looks, she highly values friendship and is extremely loyal and protective, She carries a shield that she uses to block any attacks and bash any enemies that dare to hurt their adopter,

She gets along well with others, will often happily chat with other buddies if you have more than one, she is also a great caregiver for younger crispy buddies, she also loves nothing more than spending quality time with her adopter, often times helping them with any chores, she is stronger and more hardy than most would think

Do not be fooled by her kindness, she can still kick some butt if needed, most of the time, she would bash the head of a intruder to stun them while the adopter runs to safetly, and she will not back down from a fight no matter what

Since how hard it is to create a perfect holly extract and how dangerous it can be, she will cost a lot but most adopters will say it worth the money due to her loyal and friendly nature, like all buddies, she wished to be seen as an equal to her adopter, two hollyberries act like friends and also spar mates,

"What is it?" The Coffee mage ask, not looking up from his book, a hint of annoyance is clear in his voice but his companion clearly din't care, "Go to sleep dummy! It's like 2 am!" The Cookie next to him groaned as they stare down at him with a mix of their own annoyance and concern, Now everyone who has known Expresso finds it very strange when a cookie like Y/N managed to befriend the grumpy proffesor,

They were like one of the most likable proffesors in the Institute, alongside Latte, They were the more chill and laidback proffesors but still knows a lot of humor, Y/N tend to help students laugh and enjoy their time in class, while still managing to teach them about magic, so it was honestly anyone's guess on how the laidback proffesor managed to befriend the workaholic proffessor,

"Seriously, its like 2 in the morning, you din't even touch the bed last night ya dingus" Y/N groan, But Expresso merely rolled his eyes "I am Afraid sleep is not on my schedule today" and was answered by another annoyed groan "Thats like saying you have to manually schedule your breathing and who does that?!" Expresso began to mentally regret allowing them in his home,

"I appreciate your concern Y/N, But also not as it is interfering my work" Expresso said before going back to reading his book in an attmept to block out their complains, it continued before "Fine then! Ya give me no choice mister!" he din't looked up but he merely heard footstep going away, his front door opening and closing before silence took away in which he lets out a sigh of relief, finally some peace and quiet for once, he can finally work in pea--

CRASH!!!!

Andd his door slamming open quickly threw that peace out of the window, "Expresso!!! your hero is here!!" and that annoying voice he would never thought would here today, glancing over with a irritated and Annoyed scowl, he found Madeline cookie standing over the doorway with Y/N behind him "Aight when I said to come and help me Madeline, I din't say anything about kicking his door open but I guess that works"

"What are you doing here?! Can't you see I am quite busy with something!?" Expresso ask, making his annoyance very known, "We know, thats why I called him for help" Y/N answered with a Sly Smirk, Before he could say anything, he suddenly found himself slung over Madeline's shoulder, "Time for you to take a sleep my friend!" As Madeline starts marching over to Expresso's bedroom, Y/N followed just behind them, staring at Expresso with a smug grin as Expresso stared back with a irritated glare,

The Dark Cookies in My AU

Now since many people want to see the cookie of darkness in my au, I have thought I should talk about the whole dark enchantress cookie and lily cookie in my au

TW- Mentions of Abuse

Now like how we know the differences of Mannequin to other humans, Buddies know the differences of Magical sentient cookies from normal cookies with no magic, they know that those cookies are meant to be eaten and are not in any way alive, Plus they know humans that try to consume them can be killed due to their magic being lethal for consumtion

So White Lily cookies and Dark Enchantress cookie like in the orginal, are the same cookies, but in this au, A White Lily Buddy can transform into A Dark Enchantress buddy either out of desperation, force, hatred or thirst for revenge, you see, If a White Lily Buddy is under constant mistreatment and abuse for far too long, this will provide two results

One- if The White Lily Buddy became more fearful and meek rather than angry, she will enter a much more anxious, fearful and shy state, she won’t transform into a Dark Enchantress but will simply become a more fearful and anxious version of a White Lily Buddy, Called Wilted White Lily or Simply Wilted for short, after she have reached this state, she cannot transform back to a White Lily again

Two- If The White Lily Buddy on the other hand, became more angry and develop hate for humans due to the abuse, combined with her magic and negative spirialing emotions can transform them into Dark Enchantress, This hatred also gains her the ability to perform dark magic, she will recruit other abused buddies and will not hesistate to attack a human, Still unknown if she can transform back into a white lily, 

Apart from the whole two results, the same will apply to the cookies of darkness and even some of the buddies, in which they will be willing to follow dark enchantress for their revenge on humans, more often than not, they are abused and mistreated which is the cost for their hatred

It is Possible to adopt a Dark Enchantress buddy, often they are found and rescued from their adopters, however, one will need a license and a strong mind if they wish to give this buddy another chance

Adopting one is slightly similar of that of adopting a child, the process is strict to avoid any case of abuse and mistreatment and also to ensure safety of the adopter and buddy, if one wishes to adopt, they will be given a paper to answer and will have to wait to be approved

Once approved, they will be given a manual about the different kinds of buddies they can adopt, once they have chosen their desired buddies, they will have to pay then their buddy will be baked, this is to avoid overpopulating the center,

Once the buddy is baked and ready to go, they will be placed in a specially made carrier that kinda looks like a cookie box with small holes, this is to protect the buddy from any outside dangers like birds, stray dogs and cats, and puddles,

Adopting a buddy will include the following for free

1 Buddy care manual

1 Container of Star Jellies

The buddy's personal item/s

3 Icing/Fondant Clothes

The box can serve as a temporary room for the buddy until the adopter creates or buys a room just for them,

Abuse and Mistreatment of a buddy is punishable by serving jail time up to 5-10 years or less, they will be also banned from adopting anymore buddies,

Yes! Infact the center itself has the right of taking Crispy Buddies out of Abusive/Toxic homes, whether they have the adopter's consent if there enough evidence of a abuse happening, thankfully, rescued buddies can be rehabilitated but it all depends as they may become more fearful and/or distrustful of humans in which they will become permanent resident of the center

Can you do strawberry crispy buddy? (When you have time of course)

Crispy Buddies- #4 Strawberry

Height- 4 inches

Main Traits- Shy, Timid, Insecure

Special Abilities- Pretty tanky and uses her Lollipop to do a spin attack

Gets along with- Younger cookies like Gingerbrave and Wizard cookie

Neutral with- Everyone else

Tension with- Dark Enchantress, Strawberry Crepe, Pomegranate

This little buddy, despite its name, is made from artificial strawberry than real strawberries, this causes her to be extremely shy and insecure about their ingredient despite it being the main reason people loves this line, they are not reccomended for very energetic or loud people, as this line can get scared by the tiniest of noise, gaining their trust will need time and patience,

Make sure to have room or even a space in the house where there is little to no noise, she will prefer to play games in her space and she can cook for herself but she will still need some help, so make sure to take care of her well and be gentle around her, she gets along with younger buddies and some cookies like pure vanilla

When scared, she will spin her lollipop around in order to protect herself, it won't really hurt much to get hit but she might hit other objects so keep an eye, once you gained her trust, she will more comfortable around you and even more talkative around you

when two strawberries meet, they will shy away from each other for a while until they get along, she is one of the easy buddies to take care but always remember she can get insecure about her ingredients at times so its best to reassure her.
