Oh relevant to recent convos on my blog, when researching my last Panic essay I saw Bebe Rexha spoke on a panel for women in music in like 2012 and talked about how when she was in the Black Cards Pete, the other guys in the band, and the marketing director controlled her aesthetic and wouldnt let her wear certain clothes, and told women in music to understand that they are a product lol. Victoria has made similar comments about Gabe. So please tell me more about how this is all about letting women do what they want

that one interview where patrick says that in his old band everybody was allowed to write but him, and that other one where he says he was in a band with a bunch of older guys who used to idolise a lot of pete’s bands and there would be legends about pete are just so funny to me. imagine you’re in a band with this bitchy sixteen year old drummer and he’s pissed that you won’t let him write songs. and then one day he quits and suddenly he’s the singer in a band with scene king pete wentz, and scene king pete wentz is not only letting him write all their songs but he’s also obsessed with him and calling him his hit factory, and you’re just like. what the fuck.
