OH MY GODS NEVER CAUGHT THAT???? And I watched Part 5 at least twice!

However I'm not sure we watched the same movies, because the first time we see her in Castle of Cagliostro, she is literally driving a car XD ...Well, passed out at the wheel. But she must have driven some distance at least.

Here she seems to be the passenger, she's on the right seat and you can kinda see someone's hand on the wheel on the left.

I have this theory that lupin different coloured jackets represent a different side of his personality

Red represents his questionable qualities aka the early lupin in the manga where he was more villainous

Green represents his caring and mature side, always putting his goals aside for the sake of others

Pink represents his goofy side and childish behaviour

And Blue represents his all business side to him he is 100% focused on getting this heist done and right and is always one step ahead of his foes

In your opinion, what do you think of this theory?

I like that! I'm curious though, do you mean this as meta (each jacket color in the anime is a different facet of him), or in-universe (he wears different colors depending on the flavour of mischief he's feeling that day) ? Because if it's the latter, that's... literally just a description of the anime's different eras.

(Also I would personally swap green and red: except in Castle of Cagliostro and The Fuma Conspiraracy, Green Jacket Lupin is very much not caring or altruistic. He is a fucking gremlin who blows things up.)
