My idealized s2.

Monster of the week isnt abandoned 10 episodes in but plays a much smaller role and also a more consistent themeing. Setting perimeters not nearly as wide and contained in the area of san dimas. The other 3 realms are each visited only once, heaven is cut.

The moms & marco way more present in the teens character arcs.

Willy stampler can be present but hes never freed, still scarys patron, still evil, but takes the backseat and not given nearly as major of a role as he ends up having.

Plotline abt the chosen one (and how the teens define it) being more prevalent

Tighter regulation of time with the overall campaign taking across a school year

1st half (1st semester) is about preparing for the doodler coming to them and for a big showdown (kiddads try to kill it, doodlerized instead, doodler is freed, the teens have to prepare themselves & town with a countdown to when it arrives on earth. Each doodlerized dad is the mini boss for the culmination their respective teens narrative arc)

2nd half (2nd semester) is abt doodler spending time w the teens & defining what home is to them. (Kiddads recovering, the teens and doodler go to each different realm to remove an anchor which the s1 dads hold and a final culmination of the story w/ a final confrontation where the kid dads are recovered enough and want to try to end the doodler again. Climax of whether the teens can talk each of their dads down and whether the doodler decides to leave stay or a secert third thing)

Scary betrayal still happens but its confined in the arc focusing on her

BONUS INFO (if you even care): Taylor uses a cane! And is nonbinary (he/they).

"Odd jobs" sounds very vague. Scams and shitty companies, is what I mean. A lot of times with Hermie.

Taylor more or less creates the Homestuck of their universe Cuz I think that's funny.

Linc and Scary decided to adopt, since both of them have non-biological parents. And also because I don't want to deal with teen pregnancy dawg.

I got inspired by Courtney Love and Hole for Scary's "stage persona", and what butthole ricochet sounds like in the future.

Edit: @solitary-bones changed my mind about Hermie and Normal. They're just always on-and-off. Maybe have some other partners in the middle, come back to eachother, try to make it work. Still, in the finale, they're definitely going through the roughest patch. Like a full break up. They'll probably go back. Or perhaps not.
