I took Nugget to Flaming Geyser State Park for the first time today.

He loved it 🥰

Took these with the old (Sony Mavica) camera. Nugget was too busy laying down the sniff to pause for photos though 😪

I beat Stranded Deep finally. It took over 3 days (49 hours and 48 minutes this attempt, 160 hours total but also I started playing in 2015 during early access) of my real life to do, but I 100% the achievements.

Deep ocean water is stuff of my nightmares, so I had to stress out a lot to do this one.

The ending was surprising, I enjoyed that, thanks Beam Team.

The song and its lyrics are composed by John Lowrie (the Sniper), who alongside Robin Atkin Downes (Medic) is on guitar and vocals. Also on vocals we have Gary Schwartz (Heavy, Demoman) and Dennis Bateman (Spy), while on piano is Ellen McLain (the Administrator). The song details, in Lowrie's words, "the TF2 Mercs' struggle to find the Sandvich for Heavy."

About 20 days later there are no ants whatsoever (there had been a few stragglers that first week) , so… myth confirmed!

Tired of fighting an endless war against a foe whose base I cannot assault, I begin to draw magic circles from Irish Spring throughout my apartment.

A co-worker gave me thier old HP Pavilion A1034N (HP’s picture example above) because they wanted to junk it and I promised to scrub the drive for them. I spent all weekend trying to fix it and had to borrow an old VGA-compatible monitor from work to get it to display after BIOS (boring story), BUT ITS WORKING!

Definitely not blasting (and/or singing/shouting along to) Weird Al’s “It’s all about the Pentiums” (it’s got a Pentium 4, 3ghz) while I wait for XP to install.

It’s also got an ATI Radeon 9200 Low Profile, so I am stoked for some OG gaming nostalgia.

I can’t believe that at the end of Waterworld (1995) they find Jurassic Park but all the dinosaurs have evolved into horses.

Also that subtle reference to the Exxon Valdez being the smokers ship (with “NO SMOKING” emblazened on the bridge nonetheless!) with that portrait of Captain Joe Hazelwood was fucking savage.

I finally have all 151 of the Kanto Pokémon! Almost 8 years into playing! I dun’ catch’d’em all 😭

The final one was Mr. Mime, and I had a Galarian variant pop-up as the bonus for completing 5 daily challenges. Been talking mad shit about Mr. Mime for like 2 years waiting for that motherfucker (lol) to show up.

Now I need Corsola to show up to complete Johto… 9 year old me playing Pokémon Red or older me playing Silver would be proud 😆

My mom came over because my birthday is on the 16th and we were going to go eat but she said she had a migraine (she get chronic ones) and then her stomach wasn’t feeling good and she had to go home (turns out doctor changed medicine and maybe that’s what it was), but she got to meet Nugget for the first time and they loved each other and he even comforted her when she started not feeling well, so it was super sweet and not going out is no big deal… but I got desert (she brought it)! 🥳🎂

She brought candles to top it off, I’m older than that I swear 😉
