For anyone who didn't see it... I finally updated The Light at the End of the Night and uh, shit is goin' down.

I'm already working on chapter 11 and here's a lil tidbit that I've written if anyone is interested - I'm putting it under the cut because you'll be very confused if you haven't read Ch. 10 yet!

“Don’t do anything weird to him,” Dabi glared at Ujiko as the doctor approached, “Patch him up and see if you can’t salvage his wings. Just don’t run any of your crazy-ass experiments on him.” “Oh but what if I must run a ‘crazy-ass’ experiment in order to salvage his precious wings?” Ujiko questioned as he knelt down and started to examine the damage. “Which is looking very likely with the state he’s in. Say, Dabi, this is your work, isn’t it?” he questioned, gesturing to the deep burns on Hawks’ back. “Yeah, which means you know how to treat it, right?” Dabi shot back, trying to shove down the guilt that bubbled up despite the fact that Hawks had asked him to do it. “For a price,” Ujiko said, voice low so only Dabi could hear as he rummaged in his bag and pulled out a jar that had some sort of burn salve in it. Anger swelled inside Dabi, blood running hot and fingers itching to blast the bastard with flames but he knew that wouldn’t help anything. “You have the League’s loyalty, isn’t that good enough?” he gritted out. “Yes, yes. Typically, that is, but Dabi - my dear - you’re asking me to treat the number two pro hero here,” Ujiko laughed.

Okay but consider Revali scolding Sidon for 'spoiling' Link even as he meticulously plans every meal and makes sure the best, most practical and comfortable clothes are available for their boyfriend at all times.

Like, yeah, Sidon openly worships the ground Link walks on but Revali is going to insane lengths to ensure Link's comfort and happiness while acting like he couldn't care less despite all of them knowing exactly how much Revali does care.

Hi! So I’ve made fanart for your fic before and I would love to make more! However, I know in the fic, Hanako has two potential other dads. Since her other parent was revealed, I didn’t want to spoil it for anyone who might not be caught up or have read your fic yet. I absolutely have no problem with making two versions of whatever drawings I might come up with. But I was just wondering if it’s okay with you that I do the version of Hanako that would be accurate to the fic (again since the bio parent was stated).

I would be so incredibly honored by any sort of art you draw for my fic! I'm totally okay with either option - if you want to draw two versions then that's awesome but if you just wanna do one that is accurate to the fic then that's also awesome!

What inspired “The Light At The End Of The Night?”

I legit love answering stuff like this lol

So... A lot of the inspiration for it came from my experience having my first kiddo and wondering how exactly Dabi would react in a similar situation - not to mention how everyone else would react to Dabi's surprise baby.

Because, ah, I knew I was pregnant but had just found out and thought I could only be a couple weeks along when I went into labor.

Like, I legitimately thought I was having a miscarriage and ended up having a whole baby.

Prior to this I also kinda hated kids and could count the number of times I've held a baby on one hand and had like 0 knowledge about how to care for an infant.

So that's the majority of the inspiration for that one lol and then I just thought a bit of baby-daddy drama could be fun to write lol.
