Turning 30 on the 29th, and though I'm relieved to be out of my 20s, I'm entering, what a lot of the older people in my life call, "the most turbulent decade of your life". The decade where every big thing actually happens.

It feels like, even though I've been putting forth a lot of effort to improve my quality of life, those IN my life, such as friends, family, and my significant other, are actually holding me back from actually experiencing it. I find myself feeling frustrated more than anything these days, holding in a lot of things because they've been said millions of times, and yet, I'm the only one that seems to be changing anything. I can only do so much before, ultimately, it's solely in the other's court now. I no longer have the luxury of time, and my "patience of a Saint" that everyone labels me with, now feels Sisyphean at this point. I'm at a major crossroads and everyone is yelling at me, telling me which way to go, but it's just a cacophony of noise, blurred together by dissociation. I never planned to be at this crossroads in the first place, so I'm starting at each route with no want nor desire for either. It's unpleasant, this point in time, and I just hope to get past it.

A baby Dainty with a dalmatian dress. Everyone says the notes from their childhood teachers alluded to their diagnosis later in life, but all I got was high praise. Definitely showed that I had burnout by my Senior year though, overachieving lil bowl cut child.

What would happen if dainty turned a different color? Mood changes? What's a green Dainty like?

The fact I had this specific old drawing from when Daggers turned Dainty green to use for this is serendipitous in a very conveniently odd way.

I think green is a really hard color to work with because it automatically gives "Gaia/nature" vibes no matter what you do design wise, at least in re to animal-based creatures. But my mood would certainly change if I happened to change color! My outfits are specifically curated for my lil blue body!

TMI Tuesday: what is the worst food experience you've ever had?

So, when I was 18, I went to France with my French class. The first place we ate was a little restaurant near the hotel. We were served a red soup.

I, being tired after a 10 hour flight, thought it was tomato soup, so I slurped it. It was not tomato soup. It was BEET soup.

My brain was so confused by the bitterness, since I thought it was tomato soup, I immediately gagged, and I did so...in front of the waiter. I couldn't control it, I wasn't trying to be rude, but that was the worst tasting food I have ever experienced.

That France trip was very odd in the food department because I recall, very clearly, that they gave us beef stroganoff multiple nights, which isn't French. However, the Swiss Eclairs in Rouen, I dream about them //WEEPS

I do not have time to try new games. Therefore, I have been replaying PS2 era games with Silo so he can learn to appreciate my obscure favs like Dark Cloud and, the one no one ever knows and I am very much alone with knowing, Magic of Pengel.
