DD2 Hair Collection for EF

Some hairs ported from Dragon's Dogma 2.

Before anyone asks, yes, I do plan on adding them for other races/bodies as well, but it will take time. So, I decided to share them in small packs.

The dreads only look decent with darker hair colours, fyi. The others all look okay with any hair colour.

Each hairstyle replaces a different vanilla one, so you can use as many of these as you want at the same time.

There is not. BioWare only released those files for DA:O with the toolset.

Human Male Hair Mini Collection

Here are four hairs for human male use! Credits to the original sim modder are in each file description. Each hair has been remapped to use vanilla DA:I texture, however, I recommend getting the SK Hair Retexture mod to make them look extra nice.

This mod gets rid of the giant shoulder-pads, the chest belt, and the waist-knives on the sentinel plate armour for female elves.

Briala Hair Mod

This mod replaces the EF bun hair mesh with a curly style, so Briala can look more like she is described in The Masked Empire novel. (For the full de-whitewashing though, I recommend this mod to go with it.)

Unfortunately though, I cannot recommend it for Inquisitor use though at this time, because the new textures only work in certain locations. That was the only way I could get the custom textures for this hairstyle to work at all without replacing all hair textures, at least. If I ever learn how to fix this though, I will certainly do so! But for right now, I recommend just using it for while you're playing Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.

Hi! I'm trying out the DA toolset finally with the help of your headmorph guide (thank you so much for that by the way!) But I'm having a weird problem where choosing the "Post to Local" export option doesn't seem to do anything. The toolsetexport file exists, but nothing is in it. Have you ever come across this issue before? Sorry for the bother and thanks so much if you know anything

Check Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\Single Player\override\toolsetexport - might be in there

Yes, I do now. But keep in mind I can't do anything with custom textures because I don't know how to make it so that just a single hair replacement uses those textures.

Some of the hairs don't show up when close when I use the remaster mod, is there a reason for this? I'm doing the dwarven noble origin and when I talk to the noble hunters one of then just has no skull lmao

I have 2 questions actually! Would it be possible to give the Dina hair for QF a little side fringe (it's okay if not omg) it's just so hard to find good hair mods for QF and that one is perfect for my inquisitor but she has a little fringe! Again it's okay if not omg! 2nd question is if you ever plan on released the Briala mod you posted on your main Dragon Age blog? It's so wonderfully made <3 love your work omg thank you for what you do.

I don't know what you mean by "a little side fringe", sorry.

I would release the Briala hair mod I made if I knew how to change the hair texture of a single hairstyle without changing the texture of all hairs. Unfortunately I don't, and was unable to find any answers anywhere, including the frosty modding discord. I know it's possible to do, because KittenTails did it. But it's a mystery as to how.
