i usually don't care about whether or not my interests are seen as "childish", but lately I've been having these flashes of shame. to be invested in kh for decades at this point, rapidly approaching the big 3-0...am i turning into one of those embarrassingly uncool adults everyone hates? time marches on regardless, and chasing youth is a recipe for disaster, but still...

#even though i preach cringe is dead I still sometimes get flashes of this #then I remember that I don't find those adults uncool at all I think it's rly cool to be 40 and still rping for example #in fact I find older adults massively important in fandom spaces #I also remind myself I'd be miserable with the alternative #lots of nice things in the notes of this post

i do think it’s kinda funny how nomura was like ‘hee hoo let’s make a kingdom hearts mmo! it can just be a fun little browser/phone thing on the side not connected to the story hehe’ and now a decade later there is literally an entirely new branch of the timeline that’s like close to as long as all the ‘main’ games combined and a small yet significant and completely rabid group of fans on the internet dedicated to its insane deep lore and worldbuilding

My post about hateful AO3 spam comment bots is barely 2 days old and then I find this in my inbox.

I'm pretty sure this too is a bot, but just in case there's any sort of human being involved in this: I am not interested and do not consent to any of my works being made into NFTs or, while I'm at it, fed into shitty AIs or anything of this sort. If any of you use my works for such purposes, you are doing so against my explicit wishes and without my consent that you need in order for it to be legal. You have been warned.
