This post is good but I would like to remind everyone that fpreg is something that exists written by people, for people. It explores women being able to impregnate others. Huge potential for really great femslash fic as well as original wlw stories, but there isn't enough of it.

Love the art! I don't know anything about dunmeshi, but if you'd like to read a fic exploring how Wilson needs neediness to survive, here's mine:

Accessibility!!! I tell abled people to think about a building with a moat around it, and when you ask where the drawbridge is, the people in the building say, "Why would we have one of those? You can swim across."
As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."
"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."
It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.

The only counter-argument I saw for House being poly is his greediness. Like, yes I will share Wilson with someone but only because it means I get Two Hotties. But open-ended poly? Um, no.
im so fucking sorry y'all but house is not polyamorous he is the most jealous and possessive narrowminded narrow sighted selfish freak alive. hes got one hand for wilsons hand and one for his throat. like

Two Dudes Who Were in Love
From an otherwise not-favorable review of the S8 finale:
"What did work was the episode’s conclusion, which saw House and Wilson riding off together on their motorcycles. House’s relationship with Wilson was what made him likable—his vulnerability was revealed through their friendship. The last scene confirmed something that anyone who watched the show carefully would have picked up: On the surfaceHouse was about a crabby, genius, sleuth doctor but at its core the show was about two dudes who were in love."

You aren't allowed to marry a dead person anyway, so I think it doesn't matter. I assume House found someone to forge them a marriage certificate from Canada or one of the US states where it was legal. Such as New Jersey, where they started granting same-sex civil unions in early 2007.
I just realized Wilson died before the legalization of gay marriage

Thank you for the mention! IDK if House could have ever been persuaded to voluntarily wear a tie but otherwise it is marvelous. Oh wait, maybe it was a bet with a colleague! With side bonus that the weird hottie he'd bailed out of jail the night before might find it attractive.
edited hugh and rsl together around the time house and wilson would've first met (1991ish) because WHY NOT!

Can we pleeeaaassseee talk about how well the lyrical version of “Teardrop” by Massive Attack would have fit the final scene in House?
I mean look at this:
Love, Love is a verb
Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me, makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath
