Hi folks! I am a trans woman with a pregnant nonbinary partner living in a trailer in a semi rural area on the Oregon coast.

Typically I work as a camp host in exchange for a site for our trailer, however this past December a management change in the place where I had been working for a year and a half led to an abrupt departure from that location.

We are currently staying in an RV park which, unfortunately, means paying rent. My partner currently works full time and that handles most of our bills, and I am attempting to find paid work but it is extremely difficult in this area at this time of year, particularly for a visibly trans woman (our area is very tourist oriented so jobs are scarce and camp host gigs are almost non existent from November until May).

With paying site rent and utilities plus a longer commute for my partner we are now about 300-500/month in the red and while I'm applying for every job in sight, we dont really expect that to change until April unless I get very lucky. I'm working on finding side hustles in the interim, but many of my typical emergency gigs (petcare, childcare, meal prep) are not feasible here due to the fairly rural nature of our location.

I know everyone's going through it, and we hoped to not be at this point again after finally being fairly stable for the past two years but we could really use some financial help for the next few months. Any amount helps, and please don't put yourself out to help us. We're tough and we always find a way to get by. Love y'all. 🖤💖
