Last song/piece I listened to: "Let it be no more" by Blind Guardian. Finally listening to their latest album.

Last book I read: Can't remember for sure, probably it was "The Hobbit". After that was a loooot of documentation form MSDN 😁 (does it count?)

Last film I watched: "Suzume no Tojimari". Just a masterpiece, especially in terms of visuals and sound. Also leaves a very nice, warm, and cozy feeling afterwards.

Last TV series: I'm not really into series, so I just watch along something that's playing nearby, hehe. One of the latest things was "GLOW" from Netflix.

Last video game (if applicable): Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Last thing I googled: Diablo 2 Resurrected runewords (what a coincidence, huh).

Last thing I ate: Omelette with mushrooms.

Sweet, Savory or Spicy: Spicy.

Amount of sleep: Definitely not enough.

Currently reading: more MSDN documentation on DirectX.

Currently watching playing: Still playing D2R, that shit is still amazing even after 20 years.

boycott everything russian!

please boycott and don't spread russian music, literature, movies, series, art and russian artists! don't use trending russian music on Instagram or TikTok, don't popularize the culture of a terrorist country!

and please be sure to point it out to other social media users. this is the minimum you can do to avoid unnecessary trauma to the victims of russian aggression. the victims should not see the tolerance of the culture of the state that kills and tortures them every day, that destroys entire cities and creates environmental disasters killing hundreds of people!

earlier I wrote about why it is important to realize the level of guilt of the russians and not tolerate everything russian, in order to show the whole world and the russians themselves that their culture of terrorism and dancing on bones will not be tolerated in a civilized society!

russia is currently waging a full-scale genocidal war against Ukraine and taking part in the genocide of the Syrian people who are suffering from the terrorism of dictator Bashar al-Assad!

I lived for 3 years in this building. I've seen what has left of a balcony what was mine for that time. RUSSIA MUST BURN

This is my homecity, Kyiv, on the 2nd of January after russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones, 16 Tu-95MC bombers, "Kinzhal" and "Kaliber" missiles during the night.

(Overall russia launched 99 missiles of various types and 35 attack drones over Ukraine during the night and morning).

As for now, 49 people are injured, 43 out of them were hospitalized. 2 people died.

I cannot express the pain I feel seeing the beautiful and strong city where I was raised being so viciously destroyed in the front of the whole world. And I certainly cannot imagine the pain of those, who suffered during the attack today and who lost their loved ones, one of them being Lyudmyla Shevtsova, doctor of biological sciences, professor, teacher of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

DON'T LOOK AWAY.

DON'T FORGET THE FACE OF THE TERROR.

SUPPORT ARMING UKRAINE SO WE CAN DEFEND OURSELVES, OUR LIVES, OUR CULTURE FROM BEING DESTROYED.

What they won’t/don’t tell you in world history class, Eastern European edition featuring the Holodomor, mass murder by starvation.

The man who coined the word ‘genocide’ firmly calls Holodomor an act of Genocide:

“This is not simply a case of mass murder. It is a case of genocide, of destruction, not of individuals only, but of a culture and a nation. If it were possible to do this even without suffering we would still be  driven to condemn it, for the family of minds, the unity of ideas, of language and of customs that form what we call a nation that constitutes one of the most important of all our means of civilization and progress.”

It is FACT, backed up with some of the paperwork the soviets didn’t manage to destroy, that the Holodomor was premeditated, that it was planned with the specific goal of wiping out a large population of Ukrainians and any survivors were to be placed into a form of slavery and/or forced into russification which was meant to strip Ukrainians of their heritage, their culture, their soul. 

Insultingly, it is considered to be a conspiracy by the American government in an ‘anti-Red’ propaganda campaign after World War 2. This is what the Russian government claims to this day. Vladimir Putin has continued insisting this lie. 

Oh, and there’s something particularly ironic about the Russian government claiming the Americans ‘made up’ Holodomor because a number of Americans and other westerners were instrumental in spreading the lies, including the playwright George Bernard Shaw and ‘historian’/journalist Walter Duranty.

“According to Mr. Duranty, the population of the North Caucasus and the Lower Volga has decreased in the past year by 3 million, and the population of Ukraine by 4-5 million. The Ukraine had been bled white.”

(Note, he said this privately. He never said this publicly. He knew the real figures but covered it up.) 

As a side note, peoples in the Caucasus region were also affected. These ‘True Caucasians’ are not white and considered not white which means it is a further insult to say that Caucasian is a synonym for white. And there were a good number of Ukrainian people who had settled in that region or immigrated from it.

One of the weakest arguments about how the Holodomor was not real is because of the lack of photographic evidence. An early use of ‘pics or it didn’t happen’ essentially. When not only was photographic evidence hard to make, but any that was found was destroyed or hidden away. But you don’t need pictures to know that a population has been about halved in a pre-war time without disease or natural disasters. 

But then you have high up the rung Communist party members, such as Mendel Khataevich, saying  “we needed a famine to show them who is boss here. It claimed millions of lives, but the collective farm system has been established, we have won the war.”

The second weakest argument is when they accept a famine happened but insist that Russians were also affected in any equal measure. This is factually untrue. It may have hit Russian territory but it was often the poor farmers who happened to be non-Russian who were affected NOT actual Russians in any real numbers that matter to debunk this as a thing to be specifically against Ukrainians in large numbers.

And let’s not forget how apparently every genocide has to look EXACTLY like the one orchestrated by the Third Reich against Jewish people (and other ‘undesirable’ minorities) otherwise it isn’t really genocide, as said by and according to one of the biggest Holodomor deniers, Viktor Kondrashin:

“The theory of “genocide by Holodomor” is not convincing if we consider the actions of Stalin’s regime immediately before and during the Holodomor. If it had been genocide, the regime would have acted similarly to Nazis in “Jewish ghettos” in the time of World War II, i.e cutting provisions and other material resources supplies to Ukraine. This, however, this did not happen.”

Not only is that disgusting to compare the two like that, but Kondrashin was outright lying. There was a very obvious cutting of provisions and resources to Ukraine. There was mass movement of people into locations that were smaller and under guard. Camps, if you will. And this happens in the early 1930s. 

Millions of a specific group don’t just all up and move somewhere else at the same damn time. Not without being forced or coerced.

Tell me again about how millions in a very specific region of the world would die in the span of a couple years by a natural famine when that has never happened in history. Not without help. Mother nature didn’t kill my, the Ukrainian, people in the 30s. Soviet Russians did.
