#djsadbean rambles #my sister got the family another sudoku book bc we like to trade them every few days #got another in the rotation yahooo!! #also this might be tmi in the emotional sense but my gramgram died late last year and we used to do sudoku together a lot before #her dementia made things really rough many years ago #I find myself using all her techniques she taught me as a kid #we used to go to the dollar store to get activity books every week bc we went thru them so fast #and now I’m susceptible to sudoku influencers LMAO #I have a sudoku game on steam wishlisted bc it looks so good and I saw it on a sudoku influencers page

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

i put another piece in another ask but i have another !!!!! this one was so good omg...... i love how crisp it looks. and the folds in the sweaters make me so happy :3 and the hair!!!!! love how i did that. this whole freakin thang is gorgeous. very proud! i think it deserves one million likes and two million comments (i think the shading is some of my fav bc ive been recently shading shapes, not lines which really elevates it)

i luv asmr :3 i do like music to imagine animatics to with characters tho, but mooostly asmr (goodnight moon is my go to always)

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

this one omg..... it got a lot of love which made my heart so happy but man oh man, this was a game changer for me artistically. ive been super afraid of color and i went crazy with this one and im so proud of it :) and playing with this weird perspective was amazing too. i only think its underrated bc its so pivotal to my artsy journey so i think it deserves one million likes and two million nice comments xD

paint tool sai & aseprite (i used to use em a lot, but procreate is so much more convenient to draw in bed :3)

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

facing left yahooo!! i love to draw all faces to the left and then flip them to add hair and stuff that the orientation matters. i could learn to draw right facing faces but why would i choose to suffer jhdfkjsdh

3. What ideas come from when you were little

the dot eyes :3 i remember feeling very overwhelmed watching my peers draw the classic anime eye and i tried for a long time. now i simply draw two dots and its done yippeee

AITA for not giving a little girl a slice of my birthday cake?

I was out at a restaurant with some friends for my birthday today and when it was time to cut the cake, this little girl came up to our table and asked for a slice. I only had enough for me and my friends so I told her sorry but there wasn’t enough.

She started yelling and next thing I knew the roof of the restaurant is gone and the little girl took my cake anyway! I feel so bad for the restaurant owner with his demolished building but more importantly my friends who didn’t get to watch me open their presents since we had to end the party so soon.

Maybe if I had just let her have my slice it would’ve been fine…
