You ever be horny but not entirely in the "I wanna be fucked" way
Just sort of in the "I really just want attention and to be able to be a dumb dog for a little bit cause life is a little too much right now' kinda way?
Like I just wanna be gagged and muzzled cause puppies don't talk
Want my hands cuffed behind my back while you pet me and praise me and caress me and say nice things about me so I don't have to think for a while
That actually could fix me for a little bit at least

Holy shit, they got Voyager 1 working again!
15 billion miles away and NASA was able to tweak code packages on one of the onboard computers and it worked and Voyager 1 is sending signals back to earth for the first time since November.
Incredible!

You've lived a long and fulfilling life. You've done a lot of good, and while you're ready to move on now there's still one last thing you'd like to do. So you wait.
And then the day comes. You feel you're heart beat its last. And then they appear, clad in robes like night and leaning casually and comfortably against their scythe. Their skeletal face bears no expression but the gentle tilt to the side and slow seeping breath that escapes is boney face is strangely comforting.
"You have lived a good life, but it is time to go. Are you ready?"
"Not quite. There's something I've always wondered."
"Oh? Something I can tell you, perhaps?"
"Is it really possible to challenge you for my life?"
The calm and kind posture shifts to one more rigid and wary. This is a common question, surely. Death passes through many people every day, it is not unreasonable to assume some challenge him.
"You have a right to challenge me."
"Oh, good, cool. I'll go with you no matter what at the end, I'm really just curious if you could win or not."
Some of the kindness returns. You are unusual among its challengers. And they are willing to risk your challenge although they are perhaps now more wary than before.
"Name your challenge, I accept all games of chance and skill and tests of wit. And should you comply with your word to surrender regardless I will gladly take part."
"All right then, folks! Looks like it's time for a Game Changer!" You shout to an apparently invisible audience as you pull the level by your chair.
The walls rise up around you, your rip off your tearaway clothes to reveal a suit and tie, and you stand from the chair you were inches from death on before and flip it around to reveal a podium.
POV: your are Sam Reich and you are about to produce your last episode of game changer featuring Death. Guest appearance by Zac Oyama's tortured soul and Brennan Lee Mulligan's brain in a jar.

Maybe I don't emphasize this enough but one of the reasons I push constant hypnosis education is because the less you understand about hypnosis, the less capable you are of playing safer. More advanced knowledge = more advanced safety.
This applies to BOTH hypnotists and subjects.
There are certain beginner concepts that I would call "safety dead-ends": "This unwanted response happened because some part of you secretly wanted it." "Suggestions work because hypnosis makes someone suggestible."
Untrue, incomplete understanding limits safety SO MUCH.
"What makes me/my partner actually feel suggested IQ drain?"
It is: motivated by/creating desires, a role-enactment, a creative act, partially unconscious, draws on/creates associations, builds patterns/habits/familiarity, a learning experience, and much more.''
The more you actually understand what is happening in hypnosis -- not treating it like a magical black box -- the more you have control over identifying and mitigating risk, as hypnotist or subject. It is why I often push a non-state model of hypnosis.
This connects to something I was talking about re: suggestions -- simple statements where you are relying on someone just being convinced something might happen are not very helpful/effective.
"You will only respond to this trigger in this scene." Why?? Prove it! Help them!!
Triggers are associative conditioning. How do you ACTUALLY mitigate and replace a conditioned response? What is ACTUALLY happening both from their subjective perspective, and psychologically? What makes them keep responding to it? How could you change those aspects?
Writing about this more in depth for my upcoming "intermediate+ hypnokink" book :)
