Facebook PSA

Hey all, a little Social Media PSA if you have the Facebook App on your phone.

With the last update, Facebook began tracking something called ‘off-Facebook Activity’ which keeps up with all apps and browsing you do off of Facebook and collects that information with the purpose of targeting ads… which means they’re selling it to ad agencies. This includes access to any banking apps on your phone and your spending habits.

Not only is this a major breech of privacy that Facebook didn’t have to tell us about when they updated the app, it’s, of course, automatically turned on.

To turn it off, go into your Facebook app, pull up the menu from the main screen [the button with the three horizontal lines] scroll down to security and privacy, find ‘Off-Facebook Activity’ and hit the button that lets you manage your history to see all the apps it’s been collecting from. From there, you can clear the information it’s already collected, and there will be a button regarding ‘Future activity’ where you can turn the ‘feature’ off, at which point Facebook with give you an ‘ARE YOU SURE YOU DON’T WANT US COLLECTING YOUR INFORMATION TO SELL YOU THINGS???’ screen. Yes, yes you are sure. Because this is disgusting.

Headcanon Megatronia bios

So, we’ve all seen the manga for Takara’s version of Victorion, Megatronia, and it’s super uncomfortable.

I wound up spending a couple of hours today writing new bios and backstory, almost-but-not-quite from scratch, for the five toys, which are hopeful more fun and less cringe-y than their official identities.Their new names are on the image above, and read on for the bios themselves!

I’m pretty happy with these, so hope you enjoy them!

Introducing: My Pro Hero! A brand new My Hero Academia roleplay on Discord!

It has been nine years since the famous Class 1-A changed their futures forever by enrolling in UA’s prestigious hero course. While their time there was filled with many trials unlike those of their seniors, UA’s students have always been known to prevail over adversity. After numerous run-ins with the infamous League of Villains, the shadowy organization went underground. All traces of them began to disappear one by one, as if they had never even existed. No arrests had been made, despite the police force’s best efforts. Some had hoped that they were gone forever.However, the fear of the League is beginning to grow as rumors of Nomu are spread from person to person. Could the rumors be true? If they are, what does that mean for the future of Japan?

This server follows the events of the anime up until the ending of Season 4. After Endeavor and Hawks teamed up to defeat the rampaging High End Nomu, the League of Villains seemed to quietly disappear. Rumors of Nomus continued to pop up across the country, but all investigations into this seemed to fall short. Japan fell into an uneasy peace, with the people always fearing in the back of their minds that the League of Villains would eventually resurface. Unfortunately, with the rise of rumors of Nomu sightings, people are starting to realize that their fears may soon become a reality.

My Pro Hero is a literate, all-inclusive server for My Hero Academia! We are an 18+ server that caters to both canon characters as well as a limited amount of OC’s that expands as more canon character roles are filled up. Our server has an overarching plot with plenty of room for side plots revolving around your characters and their personal journeys!

We try to be as inclusive as possible and offer a friendly atmosphere. Spoilers up until the current point in the anime are fair game, but we will not spoil the events of the manga for those who aren’t 100% caught up. Still unsure? Why not hop in and check it out?
