This gif (and sorry for the low quality) of Jeric fucks me up so bad bc like… okay. We all know Jack/Eric are SUPER touchy with each other. Like they are beyond normal levels of affectionate which is already pretty interesting given we know Jack’s character is insecure and insecure with his masculinity. So it’s already somewhat odd he never double guesses how he should act with Eric— he just does. But i digress. What fucks me up about THIS touch in particular is that, all the other times they touch can be somewhat justified that it’s natural and easy. That it makes sense for Jack to reach for Eric. This touch doesn’t make any sense for either of those reasons. Jack goes out of his way to make contact with Eric. They’re spaced out and it’s an unnatural movement that doesn’t make much sense other than Jack wants to touch him. And it looks like he doesn’t even know where he wants to touch Eric, just that he needs to.
