“On aurait pu construire, écrire des poèmes sur les murs, faire un potager du champ d'Mars, noyer tous les flics dans la Seine; on aurait pu arrêter d'boire, ouvrir les cages des animaux; on aurait pu s'ouvrir les veines; et Paris serait beau.”
— Demain, il pleut - Guerilla Poubelle

I had a very elaborate dream a few days ago in which I woke up from what seemed like a crash, alongside a few other people, in a strange place. Throughout the dream, I could not make out if it was another dimension or the future.
We wandered through a dusty suburb where many buildings were falling apart and in which the few people we came across were avoiding eye contact and looking malnourished and exhausted.
At some point, I met Keanu Reeves. He explained that another form of life - I did not understand if they were conscious robots or aliens - had taken total control over humans. The people who were weaker when they took over had been completely forced into servitude. The others could still live ´freely´ in the suburbs but had insane working hours, lived in constant fear and in terrible conditions: food rationing, frequent beatings, many people disappearing without a trace. He took me to another part of town where I saw tall fancy-looking creatures living in beautiful houses, chatting and enjoying their day. I also saw the humans who were enslaved on site, who had all become pretty much like zombies, so much so that they seemed less human than the creatures.
We were then detected by the authorities and fled back to the suburbs to hide. The people I was with at the beginning were weary of Keanu Reeves, saying we were now in danger because of him, that he probably worked for the others. I was not sure if he was human either but I knew if was trying to help us somehow. I tried to defend him, but he left  because he did not want to cause further discord in the group. We spent the night hiding. The next day, we went out to try and find food. I saw Keanu Reaves lying on the road, getting beaten up by the authorities. I ran towards him and woke up before I could get to him.
It was so vivid. After waking up, I actually felt like this had all really happened; that this was a real place I had somehow been transported to, that I was brought back to my world  because I woke up but that everthing else was still going on there without me. And I was distressed, especially because I unwillingly abandoned Keanu Reaves.
So to sum up, (future) (alien) Keanu Reeves (Robot), I believe in you. I hope you´re okay. And I´m sorry I could not help you.
