RIP Tim Miller! Tim was the man that gave me my start in Tattooing back in 1991 when he invited me to work in his studio in Columbus, Ohio right after I graduated high school, and he gave me the opportunity to change my life with Tattooing. Tim Miller really saw the potential in me at a young age and gave me the chance that I needed to really make an impact with my artwork and with my tattooing. Tim was taught by the incredible @marty_holcomb who nowadays works with me at @redtreetattoo and Marty was the apprentice of the legendary Stoney St. Clair, so a big root of Columbus tattooing history tree has passed. Some of the early best times I had tattooing were with Tim Miller and he taught me everything I needed to know at that time to become a well established Tattoo Artist and businessman. Tim also took me to my very first Tattoo Convention back in the day as well and I can’t thank him enough for the life he introduced me to. What an incredible night commentating the first ever Combat Jiujitsu tournament in Ohio with the one and only @thefussyfossie and @blackbeltirishgypsy ! This historic night of jiujitsu in Ohio was filled with over 40 matches and some gnarly action in every fight. My dude @thefussyfossie was the first match of combat bjj and wow did he show up, dominate and make history being the first ever to win a combat bjj match in Ohio. Congrats on your win! A huge thanks goes out to the organizer @thedavebever and his entire crew over at @twistedchurch who made this event, seamless, smooth and well organized for the crowd and competitors. We're excited for yet another “Paint Night” from 6pm-11pm at the huge @redtreetattoo facility! Our paint nights are open to everyone, all genders, all skill levels, all mediums and all fun! Read more below! Our paint nights have really grown to an awesome collection of artists wanting to make some fun art with the company of other artists! Paint Night at @redtreetattoo returns April1st starting at 6pm and going until 11pm! This will be an “Open Art Paint Night” and also a Pizza Party at RedTree Tattoo Gallery. All artists of any gender, over 18, all skill levels and any artistic medium are invited to join others at “Paint Night” for a fun night of art, good music, good times and great people in the art community!
