Rhys is not anti elriel.

He’s anti-doing anything that will plunge his court into war while him and Feyre are about to die. He didn’t mention anything but the fact that she has a mate. Stay on topic. Rhys has a mate. He knows the dangers and implications and bonds. He’s thinking like a leader. He ain’t apart of the ship war babe. Be serious. If you think Rhys interrupting represent how “Sarah feels about the ships” than why don’t yall mention feyre wanting elriel to be together since acomaf. As she’s the one with a pov, not Rhys. She would be more closely aligned to the author desires as the protagonist for 3 BOOKS. People are hypocrites and only bring up what suits their arguments.

Rhys think Az is hurt and lonely and don’t know the inside of his head and the moments between elriel previously. We have Azriel perspective and he wants Elain and fumbling and scratching for other people perspectives won’t help your crackship.. just like Tamlin being engaged didn’t stop Rhys from interrupting the wedding……that stupid, undeveloped mating bond won’t stop Az from being with Elain. Sorry. Pack it up and stop using Rhys who y’all also call abusive and evil for your stupid ship

Little reminder that this space is a fandom space, so people are fangirling which is normal, look Elriels is not hurting anyone here we are just vibing and enjoy, finding connections in a song, in a sweater in a book, in all those little Easter eggs are the things that a fandom does and if it affects you to see how someone has fun in this space please take a step back and take care of yourself, constantly being online to hate others is not healthy for anyone, and will most likely get worse and worse with sjm posting things.

Let's not act here as if each side didn't do exactly the same thing. I still remember how GA/Eluciens said that the fact that Azriel had two bc confirmed gwynriel, mountains = Azriel = Gwyn, so please don't let them act here as if everything they accuse us of they didn't do themselves, we've been here arguing with canon for years, now we're just enjoying it a little, you know?

All of this focus on Azriel’s horny feelings for Elain, but can we please talk about how Elain completely led her moment with Az in the bonus chapter?

Elain closed the distance, and her breathing quickened as she again paused, now a scant foot away.

Azriel let his shadows whisk away the box as she said softly, "Put it on me?"

His head went quiet. But he took the necklace, opening the clasp as she exposed her back, sweeping her hair up in one hand to bare her long, creamy neck.

Azriel's fingers lingered at her nape, atop the first knob of her spine. Slowly, Elain pivoted into his touch. Until his palm lay flat against her neck.

"I should go," Elain said, but made no move to leave.

Her arousal drifted up to him, and his eyes nearly rolled back in his head at the sweet scent. He'd beg on his knees for a chance to taste it.

Elain shuddered, drifting closer. So close one deep breath would brush her breasts against his chest.

“Yes" Elain breathed, like she read the decision. Just this taste in the dead of the longest night of the year, where only the Mother might witness them.

Elain's mouth parted slightly, her eyes scanning his before fluttering shut.

Girlie went for what she wants and Azriel, ever the gentleman, read her cues perfectly and only took what she offered. I love a couple built with respect and mutual attraction, there’s truly nothing hotter.
