“Yeah, I know, I’m a hero.” Ezreal stretched, smirk on his face. “Those voidlings were a piece of cake- could have handled them by myself but it’s always nice to ave someone else to lighten the load.”

Ezreal looked the other up and down. He laughed to himself as he thought about what she said- sure, maybe Lux’ newbie team thought that way, but Ahri’s didn’t. Ahri knew the first star wasn’t everything and she made sure to beat that into her new team as well. It was really unsettling that the First Star would just give up on it’s own guardians so easily, that’s probably why Ahri was so opposed to it.
Yuuto stopped his assault as he listened to the blonde’s thoughts; perching calmly back onto his shoulder as he stared intently at Kayle.
“That’s quite a gloomy thing to say,” He began, “But you’re not alone with that sentiment. I know a few others that think that way too.”
His gaze then drifted to his familiar. “We get along just fine. He’s just keeping me on my toes, ain’t that right, Yuuto?” The guardian ruffled the creature’s head, which was met with an annoyed hiss... And a purr not too long after. “What about you? What’s your familiar? You guys get along?”
"I'm sorry but this is official star guardian business- Oh... Oh, you're a star guardian too?" [For your beautiful and super hot sg Kayle]
“I’m glad you noticed.. I suppose by that attire and ridiculous eyebrow color you’re Star guardian as well. Yet I have never seen you before.. Interesting. I guess the rumors of there being many guardians after me are true after all.”

“Ohhh nice!” He bounded forward, a spring in his step, until he stood right before the Queen. Before even thinking of touching it, he examined every nook and cranny of the bow. The way the ice molded and curved into the weapon was... Breathtaking.
“You know I found a true ice weapon once. It was kinda like a hammer but really small but I didn’t get to touch it because my uncle slapped my hand away.” He pouted thinking back on that moment. “Not fair how he got to hold it and I didn’t.”
Then he reached out. His hand hovered over the weapon, his fingertips numbing just by being close to it. He was so excited! He lowered his hand slowly before extending his index finger and touching it-
“WOAH!” He exclaimed, jumping back after it had... Shocked him? He couldn’t quite describe it; it was like it was sucking his life out of him but it also felt like he was being stabbed by a bunch of little needles. He stood there for a moment, looking at his hand. “So that’s why uncle said not to touch them... Huh... So where can I get one?”
"Ohhh, ice bow. Nice." Jarro whistled as he gazed upon the weapon. "You know, I've never seen one of those true ice weapons before so this is a real treat! You think I can hold it? Oh! Oh! Where can I get one?"
—”I… Wouldn’t think so, unfortunately.”—
He did look foreign, so the possibility didn’t even cross her mind. Where did he come from anyway?
—”True ice weapons were forged long ago, only those from iceborn lineage can wield it. I would not mind letting you hold it, but I’m afraid you might get hurt.”—

Ezreal gazed in awe. “First star guardian group? Ever? Really? No way- that’s so cool!” He exclaimed, taking a step closer. “I always knew there had to be guardians that existed before us, but the first star never said anything about it so I wasn’t ever sure.”
“And here I thought Syndra was the oldest star guardian- I guess you and your team are actually the oldest... Not that I’m saying you look old or anything. You look great! I mean-”
Yuuto bit his cheek, causing the blonde to grab the familiar and try and tear him off his face. “Yuuto! Stop- hey!”

Yuuto, who perched on his shoulder, darted his head around as he watched the others familiar closely. Ezreal had to place a hand on his furry friend’s head to get him to stop moving.
“Uh oh, somebody doesn't seem to like the First Star.” He pursed his lips, “That’s okay, Ahri doesn't really either.” He blinked. “Me? Oh, well I’m just the most handsome and awesome star guardian ever to exist.” The blonde smirked.
“Ezreal Lymere, defender of justice and protector of the innocent! Intelligent dreamboat by day, crime fighting hero by night.” Yuuto rolled his eyes, but Ezreal ignored it. “I’m also the main marksman on my team- never missed a shot so far. And you?”

Yuuto slapped him with his wing and mewled loudly, almost as if his familiar was reading his thoughts. Ezreal cleared his throat. “Well I’ve never seen you before either. And... Yes? There’s like...” He looks down tot he ground to do some mental math before speaking up, “Ten?”

“Oh- I read from my uncle’s manuscript- he does a lot of research here in Freljord- that true ice can hurt those who aren’t trained to use it or from the bloodline.” He sighed. “Well, that’s unfortunate. But that’s what I find so endearing about it.” He smiled.
“I mean, I’m not afraid of a little pain- been in pain most of my life. Physically and emotionally.” Jarro chuckled. “I won’t like, hold it if you don’t want me too, but can I at least touch it? Like poke it or something? I’m really curious.”
"Ohhh, ice bow. Nice." Jarro whistled as he gazed upon the weapon. "You know, I've never seen one of those true ice weapons before so this is a real treat! You think I can hold it? Oh! Oh! Where can I get one?"

“Cool, cool, nice.” Jarro reaches for the polish and begins to work on his daggers. He kept stealing glances at the other for awhile before finally deciding to engage in conversation.
“So how’s everything been? Oh- I arrived two days ago but I didn’t get to come around and see you until now because the council wanted to speak with me about something- where was I again? Oh yeah, so I just came back from the dying part of the forest in search of... Well, anything, but all I came back with was some old weapons and spider guts.”
He sighed. “I knew I wasn’t gonna find anything but the elders insisted I go anyways. A part of me thinks they sent me out there in hopes that I wouldn’t come back, but they said it was because they wanted to see if life was coming back to the forest- but agh. Whatever.”
HI KAYLE
“Hey Jarro.” She responded without even lifting her gaze from polishing her swords.

“Oh what’s this? You’re polishing your fancy swords, eh?” Jarro unsheathed a few of his daggers, looking a little worse for wear, and sits down right next to Kayle. “Hey can I join you? My daggers need some polish too.”
He beamed. He was sitting so close to her hahahaaa-

Jarro laughs to himself, looking down to an artifact in his right hand and a large sack in his other (filled with quite a bit of gold). He was so good at swindling and he managed to impress himself every time. That old rich guy didn’t need all this extra money anyways, and Jarro needed to pay for travel expenses! And sustenance!
“Wow Jarro, you handsome devil, you did it again.”

Jarro propped himself up on his elbows and just smiled, batting his eyelashes at the other. “I just wanted to see you because you are my most amazing and wonderful friend.”

“Yeah but I’m tired!” Jarro whined. “I’ve been running around all day and wanted to lay down. Am I not allowed to be on your bed?” He asked while rolling around on it.

“I came by to see if you were home but you weren’t so I decided to wait for you here.” He then glances to the window, which was wide open, and smiled nervously. “Window wasn’t locked?”

A more suitable address? Jarro looked at Jarvan with a very confused expression before realizing that, oh yeah, no one really knows his living situation. Which was, he didn’t have one at all. He lived in forests, on sides of roads, if he was lucky he was offered a place to sleep by a generous family. He didn’t have a home, at least not anymore.
“Seeing as I don’t really have anywhere to go, I guess I am staying here at the Citadel?” He didn’t sound so sure because he didn’t know if Jarvan even wanted him here. He knew the Prince was joking about the whole causing trouble thing, but in reality that was true. All he did was cause trouble; whether it be by stealing things or pulling pranks on anyone around, all he did was make more work for people like Jarvan.
His face scrunched up at the honorific, causing him to reach up to pinch the Prince’s cheek. “Don’t you sir me. Didn’t I tell you that I don’t like being called stuff like that? It’s Jarro, J-a-r-r-o.” He spelled out, hanging on for a few more moments before removing his hand.
“Anyways, yeah I’d like to read up on the historical stuff you have here. Also, do you have anything for cartography here? Before I got here I was surveying some ruins and now I’m contractually obligated to make a map of the place.”
Jarro arcane shifts into the room, disheveled and covered in mud. "Jarvan! I have something really important to tell you!"
“W- what is it?” Jarvan turned to him with much urgency, then winced at the sight of his state. “I- is everything well?”

Nooooo.
Jarro’s thoughts were jumbled even more when the Professor messed up his hair. He just went on a whole inner monologue about how his heart skipped a beat at the others touch blah blah blah, but since then nothing had changed. Jarvan just continued to touch him, but he couldn’t say anything because a part of him really wanted it and the other part of him was too nervous to say anything-
He baked a lemon cheesecake this morning?
Gods only know why he decided to focus on that statement while he was having an existential crisis, but alas here he was. Perhaps it was because cheesecake of any kind was a delicacy for him (and by default one of his favorite sweets), or perhaps it was the fact that Jarvan can bake? He sat up a bit straighter at the offer. If he were a dog, his tail would certainly be wagging right now.
“Y-Yes!” He responded, a little too enthusiastically. “I didn’t know you could bake, Jarvan. How long have you been doing that?”

Jarro swiftly dodged the bucket, almost falling back onto the ground but managed to balance himself before that happened. He sent a glare towards the other. What a stuck up and hoity toity guy! It reminded him of the elders back home who wanted nothing more than to get rid of him.
“They’re already dead, it’s not like they’re using any of the stuff they’ve left behind. Besides, why even hoard gold and treasures in tombs? It’s not like they can take it into the afterlife- if there even is one, that is.” He scoffed, standing his ground. He was ready in case another bucket was thrown his way.
“Some believe that stuff, but I don’t. If I feared what my ancestors thought of me, they would have made it known by now. It’s not like I’m robbing small family graves- that’s messed up- I only go for the big elaborate ones filled to the brim with treasure. A burial is all someone needs- not all that extra stuff that get’s put in there.” The elf huffed.
“Also on a side note, humans are much better than any of the other races I’ve met so far.”
