Yeah I feel like there might be other minor issues (I think it’s just like, a lot of little things building up for some people) but I don’t really care to dig through that negativity at the moment

why do people shit talk sanders now? i wasn't apart of the fandom ever but i am curious?

I’ve been trying to stay out of the drama, but I think it’s mostly because Thomas has been taking so long in between videos (it’s been just about a year since the last big video, not counting the 5 year anniversary and a few other small bits). I think people are also mad that the newer videos are so long (around 20-45 minutes) vs the originals that were only around 5-15 minutes. But when the newest video (at 13 minutes) came out just over a week ago, they also got mad cause it was an advertisement (while still including the usual problem solving and lessons they always do). I think it’s probably mostly the people who’ve subscribed to him on patreon because they’ve paid for behind the scenes and scripts and stuff but with nothing coming out, they don’t get anything they’ve paid for.

Anyone around still posting positively in the sanders sides fandom? I feel disconnected from it and I want to stay in the fandom, but I don’t get a lot of positive posts in my feed anymore.

So, first off, hats off to CoryxKenshin for calling out the blatant racism/favoritism that’s happening behind-the-scenes at YouTube. 

Second, I love how in the aftermath of Cory’s callout, you have youtubers like Jacksepticeye doing follow-up videos in which they share their support for Cory and their own experiences with YouTube’s shitty policies. And then there’s Markiplier, who decided to just go to war with YouTube.
