          𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 ,   i genuinely thought that michael was fooling the outpost group into thinking there was a cooperative and that the worthy would be taken to the safe - haven ,  only to watch them slaughter each other one by one ,  their vices and sin getting the best of them .   i thought mallory was alluded to being the sole survivor ,  an angel who would eventually challenge him            and then all that witch business ensued and the season went to hell .
