Charity Livestream for my friend's family

(cw: death/suicide) Back in May this year, my good friend Ben passed away. This was unexpected to all the people whose hearts he touched. December 20th is his birthday, and I wanted to try to do a 24 hour charity stream, with all the profits going to his family. They don't know this, so this will be a nice holiday surprise for them. But I want to honor and celebrate his life in addition to helping his family. The main part of this livestream will include me and some friends playing (and voice acting) the conversation sim "Coffee Talk", which Ben and I would play as a comfort game throughout this tumultuous year. We were supposed to play it the night he passed, but unfortunately that never happened. Here is the donation link: https://streamlabs.com/sweetnsaltycorn/tip . All donations from now until the end of December will be given to Ben's family. The stream will start roughly at 5:45pm EST with a hard start at 6pm EST on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 and will end the night of December 20th, 2023. (probably at 10pm EST, but we will see; everything is tentative.) I want to make this an annual thing, but maybe next year I can have a charity picked out to suicide prevention or mental health awareness, or just general accessibility to therapists. Updates (cw: death)

Hi guys, I planned to start kicking things back into gear tomorrow since it’s the anniversary of this blog. Unfortunately, one of my best friends took their own life last week and I’m not sure how long it’ll take for me to be well enough to post things. I’m hoping June but take that with a grain of salt. Thanks for you guys sticking with me and being patient; I sincerely miss this blog and writing posts for it. Unfortunately, life just happens, but I’m planning on trying to get back on my feet as quick as possible, since I know that is what he would’ve wanted.

Thanks again for a whopping 3 years, it’s incredible how much support this blog has gotten, and I’m very glad it’s helped others through their respective tough times as well <3

First of all, I just saw that I hit 1k followers, and I absolutely cannot thank you enough about the support I've gotten for this blog for the past three years. I really do want to continue making content for this blog, and like I've mentioned, life has been very very difficult and rocky for me lately.

I'll make a separate post for my gratitude about hitting 1000 followers, because it really is a huge milestone that I never thought I'd achieve. I just want to focus on the future about this blog and some transparency.

I still want to post, I still want to be active on here, and I really do miss interacting with this fandom a lot and you guys. I'm making this post because I think things will get a bit better for me soon. I'm in a situation where it's difficult to get out of and cope.

Hi guys, it’s Corn

No I haven’t forgotten about this blog, I really really want to continue making content. Thanks for all that have followed recently, I really never thought I’d be anywhere near 1k followers, and that’s really really amazing.

I seem to say this every semester but this one is really draining me, I’ve had some very hard personal life issues to be working out with too and I’m juggling so much right now. So thus I’ve taken a break from this blog in order to lighten up my plate for now. But trust me this blog hasn’t been forgotten, I want to make quality content for you guys, not rushed stuff. Idk when I’ll be back for sure, but I wanted to give you all an update :)

I still love Laito and I still love writing about him, things are just very muddy right now. I hope you all are doing well and I can’t wait to get back in the swing of things.
