I've decided to make this into a Ninjago blog.

Upcoming stuff (totally not a To Do list to motivate myself):

1. Finish my Ninjago rewatch series of posts. I'll try to come up with something analytical instead of simply gushing over it.

1. (a) Watch the new stuff that I missed.

2. Write the plot for an AU where the Bizarro ninja didn't literally go *poof* and have to face the consequences of existance.

I already have the character notes in hand. Already settled on the names of some of them. Guess who is named Robin Banks :)

2. (a) Draw stuff for the AU. Decide on simply posting fanfiction or do something else.

3. Write an Apotheosis AU.

I won't post anything else on this account until I do this.

This made me wish that the show would call out Wu when he's bullshitting his way into appearing all wise and shit. It would improve his char

Like, he would have more dimensions if he himself admits that he's bullshitting through life just like everyone else. Make him get called out for hiding information out of nervousness and/or fear. Make him feel guilty for banishing Garmadon amd separating his family even though he was doing his duty of protecting the Golden Weapons.

This is my least favorite exchange in the show. DUDE, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT LLOYD ACTUALLY SAID???? Sometimes early Ninjago makes it blatantly obvious that Wu was just meant to be a wise old Confucian mentor-type dude.

If she still alive, somehow, or perhaps resurrected, I want her scold her children like well, children.

Eg:

"Wu, what did I say about hiding really important information until the last minute?" She says while giving Wu a disappointed look. The old man is keeping his head down like an embarassed child.

And

"Garmadon, I expect my son to dress better than that", she says while holding her hands to her hips and criticizing Lord Garmadon's armour (the post-resurrection one, it's a bit torn up).

Also I hope that she would pour so much love onto Lloyd and give him cookies or some ancient dish from her time.

Oh my god it would be so cute if she treats the Ninja like her own grandchildren too

Ooooooo maybe they would make the attacks less life threatening since their customers can't pay if they're dead or busy paying for healthcare.

Also they wouls avoid areas that the construction company recently fixed or built since it would make their buildings seems tougher by surviving the city-wide attacks. Survivorship bias yadayada

ninjago story arc where the villain seems intent on destroying as much of ninjago city as possible and then it turns out they're being funded by the construction industry
