Cape Heights Volume 1: Another sneak peek
For all you Sense8 fans who HATED the finale (like me!) because of the sh!t “Polyamory” relationship that Lana gave us, I have a more realistic poly in my book!
 Noelle
“So what do you think about Devon coming back?”
 Claudia
Shrugging her shoulders. “I don’t know, it was bound to happen sooner or later I guess. Devon is not a bad person, she wasn’t going to stay away from her child forever. Terry was naïve if he thought that…..It will be interesting, that is for sure!”
 Noelle
“Yea……I hope she has changed, for Raya’s sake. Can you imagine going through your life, knowing you were born just to be spare parts for your sibling?”
  Claudia
“No, I can’t imagine it. I don’t think that they thought through the part of how it would make the child feel, growing up knowing that. They were only thinking about saving Keisha at the time. You can’t blame them for that. I also can’t imagine what it would be like to have a child with a terminal illness, either.”
 Noelle
Looking down at her belly and rubbing. “I really hope I don’t have to face that. I hope the 3 of us never have to face a life or death decision like that for our child.”
 Claudia
“Noelle…..I am wondering, how is Naomi doing with your being pregnant?”
 Noelle
She looks up at Claudia with a confused look on her face. “What do you mean? She is just as thrilled as Darius and I are.”
 Claudia
Crossing her arms across her chest. “Are you sure about that?”
 Noelle
Starting to get irritated from Claudia’s line of questioning. “Of course I am sure! Why wouldn’t she be happy?”
 Claudia
She is a little stunned that Noelle is being a bit naïve about this. “Because it is yours and Darius’s baby……”
 Noelle
“AND her baby. She is going to be an equal parent to our child! Naomi is infertile, she can’t have kids. This child is just as much hers as it is ours….”
 Claudia
“And you really think she doesn’t feel, I don’t know, insecure about that? She can’t give Darius a child, only you can. If both of you could have a baby, then probably she would be fine with it. Because the next time she could be the one to carry his child…….do you see where I am going with this?”
 Noelle
Raising her voice a little bit “No, I don’t see where you are going with this, Claudia! What are you implying? We are including her in everything! She has been wonderful! She is very excited for the baby! You have never been in a polyamorous relationship before, you have no idea what you are talking about!”
 Claudia
“And neither have you….. before now! Neither have the vast majority of people on planet Earth!” The conversation is getting heated. She pauses for a moment to take a breath and calm herself down a little bit. “Look, I just care about you; that is all. I care about the baby. And I also really like Naomi and Darius. This is unchartered territory….I just want to help you see it from every angle. You and Darius are having a biological child together. Naomi is not a part of that, no matter how much you try to make her be. There will be a stronger bond between you and Darius when the baby is born….”
 Noelle
Getting angrier by the minute. “Listen Claudia, I love my wife, very much. I love her just as much as I love Darius. We are never going to not equally include her, ok? I am not going to sit here and be lectured by my sister who has never been married, never had children, and never been in a polyamorous relationship! What experience do you have to draw from?!”
 Claudia
Ouch, that stung, a lot. Trying to keep her cool. “Okay, Noelle. I guess you are right. You have all the life experience. I am sure you have all the bases covered. I am sorry for bringing it up…..” Grabbing her handbag and throwing it over her shoulder. “I am going to go now, enjoy the rest of your birthday!”
She abruptly leaves. Noelle shakes her head in disbelief and sulks. She looks down at her baby and rubs her stomach. Thinking about what Claudia said, she wonders if there could be some ring of truth to it. She picks up her phone and sends Naomi a text

Cape Heights Volume 1: More excerpts
here is another scene from Cape Heights Volume 1. If you are a fan of daytime soaps, you will LOVE my book!
Terrence
He folds his arms across his chest, trying to hold back his contempt at the sight of Devon in his office, she already came in guns blazing. “I should have known. What do you want, Devon?”
 Devon
She steps further into the office, looking Terry dead cold in the eyes. “You know what I want, Terry. I am here for my daughter. I want to be a part of her life.”
 Terrence
“Raya is not your daughter, Devon.”
 Devon
Raising her voice and pointing her finger in Terrence’s face. “Who the hell are you to tell me that I DON’T HAVE A DAUGHTER? That little girl came from MY WOMB! SHE IS HALF ME!”
  Keisha
Feeling extremely uncomfortable and having always been Switzerland in her parents feuding, Keisha meekly speaks up. “Ok I am just going to step out for right now, I think I will go find Adrian.” She very quickly escapes for the door.
 Terrence
Raising his voice as well “She stopped being your daughter the day you REFUSED to stop USING her as a donor and the courts agreed with me!!!!! As far as I am concerned, you ceased to be her mother when you would not see her for the individual that she is, and not a body part factory!!!!”
 Devon
“Jackass!” She slaps him across the face. “Don’t you EVER talk to me like that! The truth is, Terry, you cut me out of her life! You even had her legally disowned from me. What kind of person does that? I don’t know what happened to you! That man is not the man that I married!”
 Terrence
The slap stung quite a bit, she got him good. But he stood stoically, unwavering in his conviction. “And what kind of mother uses her own child! And then leaves the country! Keisha didn’t even want her sister to be used for her like that! But you….you never had any guilt, any shame! What happened to the woman I used to love? That Devon had a heart!”
 Devon
Tears started to well up in her eyes. “Who are you to say I never felt any guilt? I am not the cold hearted one here, Terry. I am back, and I am going to see my daughter, I am going to spend time with my daughter.”
 Terrence
“You are not allowed! You have no rights to her! She is not your child in the eyes of the law!”
 Devon
“Well the law got it wrong! She needs a mother!”
  Terrence
Scoffing at her “Oh NOW you want to be a mother? She already has a mother. Claudia has stepped in to fill that role for you.”
 Devon
Her eyes widening and making a wince “Claudia? Claudia is NOT her mother, she is her Auntie!”
 Terrence
“Well she has been doing a fantastic job, taking your place! She is the only mother Raya has ever really known!”
 Devon
Leaning over his desk, pointing her finger in his face “Let me tell you something, Terrence Edison Emerson. I WILL see my daughter. We can do this the easy way, or we can do it the hard way. Either you can voluntarily let me see her, or I will take you to court, again. You have until Sunday night to let me know. If by then you still refuse to let me see her, you will be hearing from my attorney Monday morning. And this time I have the best custody attorney on the west coast on my retainer!” Before he can reply, she turns around and leaves his office, slamming his door as hard as she can.

Cape Heights Volume 1
A scene from my book Cape Heights Volume 1
Eddie
Eddie got a phone call from the prison. Jeffery had requested that Eddie come see him. Eddie has no idea what Jeffery wants to see him for, but he feels nervous to find out. He really doesn’t want to see his older brother, but Jeffery has got him curious, for sure.
He checks in and goes through all the security clearances. A corrections officer takes him to a small room with a table and two chairs. Eddie sits and waits for Jeffery to appear. He has his hands interlaced together and he is looking down at his hands, trying to remember that no matter what; keep his cool, keep a poker face. The door opens and Jeffery enters in hand cuffs; that was Eddie’s request that he be handcuffed due to Jeffery’s previous attempts on Eddie’s life.
 Jeffery
Entering the visitor’s room with an amused grin on his face, he sits down across from Eddie.
“Hello, little brother, how are you today? It is good to see you.”
 Eddie
Sucking his teeth and shaking his head a little, he gives a stone cold look to Jeffery. “Please, enough with your BS, Jeffery. What do you want? Why am I here?”
 Jeffery
“What’s the matter, little brother? You don’t want to know how I am doing? I am doing great, fantastic. Thanks for asking!” He says with a chuckle. “Why are you here? You are here because I wanted you to be the first to know my great news. I am coming up for a parole hearing in 6 weeks.”
 Eddie
Stunned, a look of shock and horror came over his face. “What? No that is not possible! You have only served 2 and a half years of your 12 year sentence! You are not supposed to be considered for parole for at least 6 more years!”
 Jeffery
With a continuous smirk on his face, he smugly relaxes back into his chair. He loves watching Eddie get all fired up. “What can I say? Overcrowding problem and I have been on my BEST behavior, so my parole hearing has been pushed up about 5 years. What luck, eh?!”
 Eddie
“No way! That is not possible, I don’t believe you!”
  Jeffery
Chuckling from his amusement over Eddie’s reaction “Don’t believe me? Go check it out yourself. Speak to administration, they will confirm it.”
 Eddie
He stands up and leans over the table, yelling in Jeffery’s face. “This is BULLSHIT! I am going to speak with the parole board directly! You cannot be released, you are a danger to society! I will do whatever I have to in order to keep this from happening, I can promise you that!”
 Jeffery
“Tsk, tsk, baby brother. Why are you so hostile? Mother did not raise you to be like that! We are family! Family is the MOST important thing in this world, isn’t it, Eddie?”
 Eddie
“You are not my family! We may share DNA, but nothing else!” He starts to walk over to the door to leave.
 Jeffery
“Oh I think we share WAY more than DNA, little brother!” He says with a laugh. “It seems we also share my wife, as well.” Eddie’s back is turned to Jeffery with his hand on the door knob, about to leave. Jeffery has a mischievous grin on his face, waiting to see Eddie’s reaction to what he just said.
 Eddie
He was about to open the door when he was stopped dead in his tracks by what Jeffery said. He slowly turns around. “What did you say?”
 Jeffery
“Oh I think you heard me the first time, brother. Are you fucking my wife, Eddie?”
 Eddie
He walks back over to the table, putting both hands down on the table, hunching over with his head in Jeffery’s face. “You don’t have a wife, BROTHER.”
Jeffery
“Ooohhhh but I do. See in the eyes of the law, we may not be married anymore. But in MY eyes, once a wife, always a wife. Did you really think I was not going to keep tabs on my wife while I am in here? Keep track of where she is going, what she is doing, WHO…. she is doing?” He says with an air of arrogance.
 Eddie
In his mind, all he is thinking about is taking his hands and wrapping them around Jeffery’s neck until his eyes pop out of his sockets. But on the outside, he is trying to stay cool and keep a poker face. He regularly checks for bugs, video cameras or people surveilling around Marissa’s apartment, the club, and anywhere else he can think of and he has NEVER found anything. How does his brother know this? “I am not fucking your EX wife, Jeffery. Do you think I would sleep with anyone who has been with you first? Hell no.”
 Jeffery
Jeffery goes into a laughing fit. “I must admit, you do have a pretty good poker face. If I hadn’t seen the proof with my own eyes, I might actually believe you.” He laughs even harder.
 Eddie
“You are NOT getting out of here anytime soon. I will make it my life’s mission to make sure you stay in here for your entire sentence, if not more.” He slams his fist down on the table, turns around and exits the room. Jeffery continues to laugh uncontrollably after Eddie is gone.

My Very Own Day Time Tv Soap Opera Drama Book Series
Hi everyone! The last few months I have returned to creative writing which I had stopped doing many years ago. I used to write my own soap opera which I have returned to writing. 3 weeks ago I published the first volume, my first published book ever. However it is not really selling. I know it is a hard genre as you dont really find soaps in book form only on tv. I am trying to reach soap fans to buy my book.
It is called Cape Heights and it is a full fledged soap opera. A small town filled with over 50 characters. Many stories going on at one time. So much romance and drama! Tons of different kinds of relationships. I got love triangles, ex’s getting back together, I have a lesbian relationship I have a TRUE polyamorous relationship (us Kalagang Sense8 fans know what I am talking about!) bad boys, complicated family dynamics, drug running, complex characters and much more. I am trying to keep the stories and characters as realistic as possible while also being entertaining and there is some humor as well, it isn’t all drama. There is some cursing in the dialogue as that is how most people talk so don’t be offended, this book is not for the easily offended type.
I am really enjoying writing it and I want to share it with people please check it out it is on kindle and I have it in paperback as well and if you like it, please leave me a review on amazon. If you have kindle and you can share it with friends for free, please do that.

#kalagang #wolfgangbogdanow #sense8
so, i actually really disliked the sense8 finale. before anyone attacks me, i don’t hate polyamory. i don’t really care for it, but i don’t hate it. i appreciate it where it makes sense. i just hate this specific, totally nonsensical instance of polyamory.
but seriously. it was so bad that it literally tainted the entire rest of the finale and i spent the full time just feeling sick to my stomach. every other cute moment, every cute couple… outweighed by all the cheap, icky moments that lana pushed with the three of them. they squished a season’s worth of plot into a two and a half hours, which was already bad enough, but then they managed to assassinate kala’s personality in the most fantastic way. so at the end of it, wolfgang basically functioned as the tolerated Other Woman slash sex fiend in rajan and kala’s marriage, and this was somehow a good ending.
like. this just makes it seem as though he isn’t as important to kala as her husband, though we know he’s the one she loves more. he is clearly repeatedly shown off to the side, while the two of them are a pair. (sitting together at the wedding, standing together in all shots of them, giving nomanita a joint gift, all the instances of “my husband”/”my wife”, etc. — through all of which, wolfgang is off to the side.) he’s basically been relegated to spicing up their sex life, and they…. what? will go back to mumbai together? have a life together while he stays in berlin? how is this possibly going to function in the long run?
and kala… has never once showed any romantic interest in rajan until this finale. like, she’s been involved with him for two years and never fell in love with him, and now, all of a sudden…? kala literally like two weeks ago (less?) was 100% willing to break off her marriage with rajan and run away to paris with wolfgang. she was about to commit suicide with him without a single thought to rajan or anyone else. she literally said wolfgang taught her what love is. and now she wants some weird polyamorous threesome she can in no way explain to her family??? cool. her entire arc was about standing up for herself and telling rajan and her family the truth about who she loved and who she wanted to be with, and by god if you can’t fall in love with someone after two years of spending every day together, you’re not going to magically fall in love over the course of a day. i wouldn’t care that it’s polyamory if they’d done it right and not with this particular threesome. like. it’s so impossibly ooc that it’s really… wow.
and all this just to show “love triangles are bad! why not just fuck!! :D”
so, thank you, lana, for pushing a statement rather than showing any respect to your characters. i’m two seconds away from going back and erasing every single kalagang post i’ve ever made because the thought of them together now literally makes my stomach turn.

A quick, necessary rant mainly about Wolfgang.
I seriously still have major problems to properly process everything, but the more I think about it, the angrier I get because what happened literally doesn’t make any sense. Not only what we have been shown in this finale goes against every accurate portrayal of Kala’s real attitude and behavior, both of which end up being completely OOC, but it’s also utterly unfair to Wolfgang according to the way his character was built. Let’s remind that Wolfgang is someone who has always been used to feel as a subdued victim since childhood thanks to all the traumas that have been tormenting him for years; someone who has had to live all of his life believing to be worthless and undeserving of love; someone who was able to find only in Kala a person willing to know, accept and love every side of him and still want to stay with him for who he was, naked of all his weaknesses and insecurities; a person ready 1) to actively help him in embracing his true self and feeling worthy again and 2) to actually fight for him no matter what, even giving up her life for him. And yet, instead of all of this, what do we get to see in the Special? Kala, Wolfgang’s safety anchor, who suddenly, when she finally has the opportunity to meet him in real life, degenerates as a character and doesn’t actually choose at all. Because this is the heart of the matter: what we see through the episode is NOT a polyamory, because many characters clarify that Kala has not talked yet neither with Wolfgang nor Rajan about their relationship, which honestly is a totally disrespectful and unacceptable behavior towards both of them who deserved a real and valid solution, not this confused and obscure shadow of a compromise. Kala literally spent two entire seasons trying to overcome Wolfgang’s psychological issues and convince him that he was worthy of being loved, saved and chosen. So, it’s completely useless and kind of fool for the writers to come up with quotes like “I’m not worth it”, “Wolfgang, you are!” because the truth is that later these interactions turn out to be pointless knowing that, once that all those words and promises can finally be transformed into facts and realities, Kala remains silent and ends up not making a choice. It just doesn’t make sense. Wolfgang deserved to be someone’s first choice. He deserved, for the first time in his life, to be someone’s first reason and to be loved by Kala with the same priority and dedication that he has always reserved to her. And Kala actually did so, until this Special. Because the message that we get after this episode states the exact opposite, which is that 1) when she finally has the occasion to do it, she doesn’t follow her feelings and doesn’t prove him what he really means to her (something totally out of character for her compared to S2), and 2) that she prefers to ignore it and not confront both him and Rajan, someone who she feels grateful towards but she clearly doesn’t love. I’ll repeat it till my last day: Wolfgang deserved to have an IC Kala willing to follow through with her desires and to actively show him that everything she told him for two seasons was true (and not some kind of joke as it is perceived here), and he surely didn’t deserve to be given the exact same importance of a man who an IC Kala has been shown to only ever feel dutiful and uncomfortable towards.
Also: people who claim that Wolfgang is in love with Rajan simply don’t understand Wolfgang’s character at all. Let’s remember that he took two entire years to completely open up with Kala about his internal struggles and emotional walls and he didn’t ever manage to express himself properly about it with even his other selves, who he clearly loves as a family but shows a general silent, closed attitude with. It’s a very long road for Wolfgang to be able to embrace his feelings enough to express them, let alone being able to let them control him and fall in love. He could do that only with Kala through his entire life, and we know the importance and the intensity of their connection. There’s simply no way that he would fall for Rajan out of nowhere and barely knowing him after one episode, and people who really think such a thing prove to be neglectful of and disrespectful towards his character.

Honestly I’m of two minds about the whole Rajan x Kala x Wolfgang thing….i think it’s actually really character in Kala who was never choosing between two men, but rather, two lives, to just not decide at all and keep them both.
I’m not so sure Kala married Rajan out of some misplaced sense of duty. I think she did it because logically, marrying Rajan was the smart choice, the healthier choice. He’s kind and loving and far more emotionally avilable than Wolfgang, who pushed her away and then avoided her. And remember that everyone kept telling Kala all she needed was TIME, time to grow with Rajan and fall in love with him and make a happy life.
And  logically this all makes perfect sense. No reason she couldnt have come to eventually love Rajan, so why not stick it out. And, more importantly, her future with Rajan is set 100%. Nice job, nice house, stability for herself and her family. What kind of life could she have had with Wolfgang, a man so deeply entrenched in the Russian mob that the only way out is death? A man she watched brutally murder his uncle? A man she’d never met. It’s easy to say ‘Be with the one you love!’ but in practice it wasnt that simple.
Here’s where my issue with this whole thing starts: this triad was built on infidelity. This was not a case of a single, unattached woman picking between two men. Kala willingly married one man, made vows and promises to him that she wanted to keep. But she didnt. She carried on an emotional and sexual affair behind his back. Sure, it’s possible to love more than one person at the same time. But cheating is a CHOICE, and Kala made that choice very willingly.
That’s completely unfair to Rajan. Kala talks alot about how she doesnt want to hurt him, but she acts in ways that completely contradict this. What would have hurt him more, setting him free to find love elsewhere or doig what she did, fantasizing about another man and constantly thinking about how unhappy she was without discussing it with him? Y'all say Kala loves Rajan, but she doesnt trust him, isnt honest with him, and had an affair. Not the best foundation for a marriage, let alone a polyamorous relationship.
Now, onto wolfgang. Wolfie did his best to stay away from Kala. He told her that he wanted her happy, even if it hurt him. Yet she keeps visiting him and coming on to him and etc and its not fair to him either. Kala doesnt even think about Wolfgang’s feelings throughout all of this. She hurts him deeply several times in s2, to the point where he literally said he thought his death would make her life easier. Thats messed up.
Both of these men fucking adore Kala. They love her more than they love themselves. She makes promises to both of them that she doesnt keep and cant be honest with either of them. How does having a threesome erase the pain of your wife cheating on you? How is Wolfgang suddenly okay with being a boytoy when he was so upset at the prospect earlier?
Lana didnt solve a love triangle, she turned an affair into a poly relationship with an EXTREMELY shaky foundation. So while I think it’s totally in character and fits the themes of the episode (love conquers all) it’s a goddamn mess all around. And as a poly person myself, trust me, infidelity is the worst start to a relationship like this one.

Kala and Wolfgang: Why they were supposed to be “Ride or Die” (and why Love Did NOT Conquer All)
I know there is war right now among the fandom: those who loved every bit of the finale, and those of us who are bitter, angry, and feel betrayed over what happened with 1 of the 2 left unresolved story arcs going into the finale.
As we all know, the two major story arcs going into the finale that still needed to be finalized were: The takedown of BPO/Freeing Wolfgang/Revenge on Lila and Whispers. You could possibly break these into 3 sep arcs but I consider them to be 1 since Wolfgang was being held hostage and tortured by BPO and Lila and Whispers although working for their own self interests, were also working for BPO.
Overall, I think the resolution of this was good, I give it a rating of 7/10. There were a few things I was not crazy about: First, who was the chairman? When his face was revealed, he was no one we had ever seen, so why the big reveal? Second, before we could possibly find out who exactly he was and what his true motivations were, his brains were blown out. Really, we couldnt have gotten some info there, first? Also, I felt the killing of Lila and Whispers was somewhat anti-climatic. Though I love that Will/Wolfgang ended them together and I love the reappearance of Wolfgang’s rocket launcher, I was expecting or would have preferred some dramatic words exchanged first between them, some words of goodbye before killing them. Or even better, for Kala/Wolfgang to have killed Lila together. That would have been poetic. And 3rd, I felt the reason given behind Whispers zombie project, his motivations was weak and didnt make sense to me, JMHO. Though IMO what did happen wasnt the best, it was still decent.
Anyway, moving on, the other story arc going into the finale: Wolfgang and Kala finally truly being together at last and Rajan discovering the truth! Being that I am a GIANT Kalagang fan (literally my favorite tv couple of ALL TIME), I must say that I do love EVERY couple in Sense8, but Kalagang reigns supreme. And from everything I have seen on social media, they seemed to be THE MOST POPULAR COUPLE ON SENSE8. Surely Lana had known this, even though she doesnt do social media. They were also the only couple (except for Sun and Mun) that were not a solid couple still yet going into the finale. We had no worries of all the solid couples breaking up. Which in a way, is refreshing for a tv show cause so often couples are constantly torn apart and if you are lucky, put back together or always in angst. It was great that Nomi/Neets, Hernando/Lito, Will/Riley, etc never were in jeopardy. So I, like myself, expected a HUGE payoff for Kala and Wolfgang in the finale. They were the only couple that were in constant angst throughout all of season 1 and 2. And bravo to Max and Tina, for being able to keep that explosive chemistry alive throughout all 2 seasons.
Why should there have been a huge payoff for this couple you might ask me? Well, because of their character dev throughout both seasons. From the moment they saw each other for the first time, just like Will and Riley, they were in love (that is because in sensate world, some cluster mates are predestined to be together, I think so anyway) BOTH of these couples were predestined to be together in this cluster. Why was it so much more difficult for Kala and Wolfgang to be together than it was for Will and Riley? Because Kala was already about to be married to someone else, and Wolfgang was entrapped in a life of mob danger and a life of being treated like garbage by his crap abusive and violent family. Like he said in the finale, he always thought he was not worth it. Which is the main reason why he never loved a woman before, until Kala.
Kala was a woman who was afraid of herself, afraid of all the facets of herself and what and who she wanted in life. she was a people pleaser, and a very moral person (nothing wrong with that!). A person of faith (I really liked btw that at least one of the sensies was religious, though in reality more than 1 of them should be. And I am by no means a religious person, but that would have been more realistic since 95% of the worlds population is, but I digress).
These two characters could not be more opposite, but yet were perfect compliments of each other. From the very beginning, they were constantly drawn to each other while (in season 1 esp) having not much sensate connection with the others in their cluster. They each gave the other what they were lacking. And through this growing love and attraction to each other, Wolfgang was opening up to being more of the good person he truly was inside while Kala was growing more into being the brave, firey woman she truly was inside.
The only logical and expected conclusion to what was going to happen in the finale was that they would save Wolfgang. Kala and Wolfgang would finally meet in person, they would finally consumate their love in person, and after Rajan found out everything that was going on, Kala would nicely break up with Rajan, ending their marriage but probably remaining friends. But nope, that is not what we got.
At the end of ep 2x11, we had Kala finally CHOOSE WOLFGANG CHOOSE THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. She was brave, and she was totally going to tell Rajan except that Rajan didnt give her a chance to say anything and shipped her off. Never once during any episode did Kala ever tell Rajan that she loved him. It was obvious she cared for him, but we were never led to believe she was also in love with him as well as Wolfgang. Everytime she was conflicted with her choice, what she was always saying about this conflict was: choosing between her love for Wolfgang, or choosing the life and obligation she had with Rajan. Also that she doesnt like to hurt people and felt bad about hurting Rajan because he was a good man. Never once did Kala EVER say she was in love with both and that was her dilemma. Had that been the case, then I could totally understand her in the finale, choosing both. But that was not the case.
In the finale, Rajan was such an after thought to her that in the first couple of weeks they were in Paris trying to rescue Wolfgang, she NEVER CONTACTED RAJAN IN ANY WAY. It apparently didnt even occur to her, nor did she care enough to do so. Rajan had to contact her, and when he did, she panicked. He shows up, and is very understanding of the whole sensorium reveal, but now suddenly Kala does not have the courage to tell him about her love for Wolfgang? When she was going to tell him before she left for europe?
When Rajan arrived and Kala talked to him, we are left with the impression that she left out that her and Wolfgang were in love with each other. Then later as we see, Rajan seems to know what is going on, though we dont know how. Did she tell him but that part got cut from the ep. or did he figure it out on his own by watching everything that was playing out? Or did Will or Riley or someone else tell him? We dont know, but I assume he either figured it out on his own or Will or someone spilled the beans, cause in that moment of opportunity, Kala choked. This was the start of Kala inexplicibly reverting back to her season 1 self.
Rajan decides to stay and help (or more like tag along) with the cluster to help them on their mission. During this time, are we supposed to believe that Kala has somehow quickly fallen in love with Raj as well? She still never tells him that she loves him, and he has done nothing extraordinary for her to do so. The only thing I see is Kala developing more appreciation and admiration for him for being so understanding, supportive, and taking everything in stride. And Raj should be commended for that. but that is not true love. Sorry but it is not.
Kala again has the opportunity to really tell or show Raj her true heart for Wolfgang, to truly reveal her truth and herself to him. When she arrives at the chateau to greet both him and wolfgang. She could have and should have redeemed herself here, and give Wolfgang the greeting he truly deserved. But nope, cowardice completely consumes her again. But I have to ask: WHY? There is no reason for this cowardice. Rajan already knows (somehow) at this point about Wolfgang. It was nice that she hugged and kissed Raj, but then she gives Wolfgang the kiss she wants to give him via visiting instead of in person. This made me so angry I wanted to throw a shoe at the tv! (I almost did!) yes she did give Wolf a really great hug in front of Raj, but she should have kissed him as well (and maybe at this time also tell Raj adios? In a nice way, of course). But she didnt. Second opportunity gone.
After that we get no real life physical love-in between Kalagang until Kala is shot and almost dies. Finally she and Wolf kiss in real life. But Raj is there (seriously?) and she has to make him feel good and important. To me that ruined the entire intimate moment of love between Kalagang. (another imaginary shoe thrown at the tv)
Last real opportunity for Kala to find her courage was at the wedding. I really expected it to happen here. I expected there to be a romantic scene between Kalagang, a grand gesture of love for everyone to see. Nope, didnt get that. All we got was them dancing together in the distance, Kala holding hands with Raj during the ceremony, Will asking Kala what is her choice and Kala shrugging her shoulders as if this is just a silly little choice (A CHOICE SHE ALREADY MADE BEFORE LEAVING FOR PARIS) and then one of the other clustermates ( I forget who) asking Wolfgang about it and him shrugging his shoulders as if it is no big deal to him who or when Kala finally chooses! WHAT??? This makes ZERO sense! This honestly ruined the whole wedding for me. It really did which also makes me mad!
This is long so I will briefly touch on why Raj and Wolf were also out of character for this whole thing. Wolfgang throughout the season is a Ride or Die kind of a guy. Extremely loyal and will do anything for the people who truly loves. he shows this over and over. He is like that with Felix, with his mother(in the flashback)  with all of the cluster, and with Kala. He is so ride and die that he has killed several of his close relatives for justice. He pressured Kala into choosing at the end of season 2. He basically said to her “stop playing games, now or never” (not a quote from him, just the feeling behind what he actually said) and he even told Kala “pretending isnt a life” this man has NEVER pretended who he was EVER in his life. But now he is going along with this pretend threeesome? Umm no that makes ZERO sense. The love between him and Kala was so deep, they were both willing to Romeo/ Juliet duo suicide for each other, but suddenly “meh, she can stay married to Raj and I will share her on the weekends”? No, I dont think so, that completely goes against everything Wolfgang is and always has been.
And I also dont believe Raj would go along with this. Yes he has always loved Kala even though he has always known that she did not reciprocate the same intensity of feelings for him and he just went along with it anyways. But we must remember, he did try to give her an out a couple of times in season 1 and also during their honeymoon. he also even said in 2x11 that he fully understands the future of their marriage is uncertain and he is fine with that. Also, I am pretty sure that indian men are not accustomed to sharing their wives with other men. Not to mention, I think Raj has enough self esteem to want a better and more complete love from a woman for himself. And being he loves Kala so much, he should love her enough to want her to go with her true love. I honestly think he would want that. Raj would not settle for this limbo, either. He could not be happy in the short or long term, taking turns with Wolfgang for Kala’s affection and attention.
So this shotty conclusion is just so wrong in so many ways and goes against all 3 characters and their entire story arc. Lana throws all of that away that she did with these characters previously, just so she can shatter societal norms by saying “why should a woman have to choose?” If that was your true intentions all along, Lana (which is obvious it was not) then you would have written their story development A LOT differently throughout the two seasons. Kala left immediately to go rescue Wolfgang, she cared less about her husband until he showed up. She broke through blockers and sedatives to connect with Wolf, she was willing to kill herself for him, Wolfgang felt he was not worth it and Kala assured him that he was, but yet despite all of that she cant find the courage to tell Rajan I want a divorce, I need to be with the man that I love? You titled the episode “Love Conquers All” yet you contradict yourself in the finale with this story, but showing that love does not conquer all. It was not even able to conquer a silly fear of speaking the truth and letting another person down. In the end you did a great disservice to all 3 characters, but Kala in particular. You who say are a champion for strong women, made her weak, cowardice, and selfish in the end. You had her basically show Wolfgang through her actions (or lack of actions) that he actually was not worth it. Shame on you, Lana. And that is why we kalagang fans are really let down by the finale.

There is a crucial difference between bad men who do some good things and good men who do some bad things. Rajan is the first one, and Wolfgang is the second.
Rajan shipped out expired drugs which put thousands if not more at risk. It’s truly not accurate to say “but Rajan didn’t kill anyone!” He did.
Wolfgang killed his abusive/rapist father and his uncle who enabled his father’s horrific behavior. He killed his cousin, who was a criminal with plans to murder Felix.
Let’s all take a moment here. Wolfgang did not kill innocent people. He lived in tragic circumstances from the time he was a child. His actions were predominantly taken out of self-defense and he never killed anyone because he wanted to. He did what he had to do.
Then we have Rajan, sitting rich and pretty as a pharma CEO, endangering innocent people in captive markets such as Nairobi.
There’s no comparison to be made between these two men, and that’s before we consider their treatment of Kala.
Who objectified Kala? Who talked down to her? Who lied to her? Who treated her like property? Who betrayed her? Rajan.
Wolfgang did none of these things.

Why Wolfgang Bogdanow and Kala Dandekar are the very definition of the “Soulmates” concept.
They are geographically separated, live in different sides of the world and belong to entirely different personal backgrounds and historical cultures.
They are literally destined to be constantly in each other’s minds until they die, and share feelings and experiences.
They are born in the same moment.
They have a strong relationship with water since their first breath and throughout all their lives water is what triggers their connection and brings them together.
Each of them metaphorically embodies what the other needs in order to evolve, grow and embrace a new, undiscovered self-awareness (Wolfgang provides her of Courage and Kala provides him of Faith).
They have very different energies and vibes (in how they act or think or behave) that perfectly complete each other.
They share the most beautiful and effective chemistry ever.
They aesthetically complete each other thanks to a constant chiasmus of colors (Wolfgang’s light-colored hair and pale skin match with Kala’s very bright dressing style, whereas Kala’s dark hair and skin fit with Wolfgang’s black clothes).
They are the embodiment of “Yin and Yang”.
He triggers her sexual awakening and she triggers his emotional one.
Their love overcomes reason and the logical rules and boundaries of every day life.
They easily connect and have access to each other’s most intimate moments and places.
They join their bodies together for the first time recalling their physical birth, making it very clear that their deep sexual connection can be considered as a new birth ritual. They become one.
Their bond is so strong that overtakes sedatives and blockers.
They would rather kill themselves than witness each other’s death.
They are each other’s ONE AND ONLY TRUE LOVE. It’s made clear several times that both of them never loved anyone else.
Considering all of these traits, it’s obvious that the writers’ main intention with Wolfgang and Kala during the first two seasons of the show has been developing a couple that could completely represent the bond established between soulmates. They are the closest example you can get of this concept and that, as far as I know, can be found in all the tv media exactly because they were conceived and realized to fit with it perfectly.
Kalagang are tv’s Soulmates by definition. Soulmates also complete each other by definition. It’s kinda ironic the fact that tv finally manages to create and give us a well-built, epic and beautiful example of what Soulmates are without being cliché or cheesy or improbable… only for them to eventually end up in a weak and unhealthy polyamory. Kalagang. Of all couples. The least likely one to accommodate to a result like this.
You can properly and credibly build a satisfying polyamory with basically every couple in the world, and you choose to do that with the only one that, by efficiently representing the “soulmates” concept, ideologically contrasts with that very kind of resolution? Really?
We have nothing against polyamory. In fact, personally speaking, polyamory has always been my favourite dynamic ever in a relationship. We are just against this polyamory. Not only it feels wrong, but also tainted and totally unbelievable for everyone involved.

Okay so I'm poly and I gotta say, I HATE the decisions made in the finale lol, The whole "rajalagang" situation is so OOC for all three of them I really can't wrap my head around how they thought it was a good idea. And it genuinely offends me how they go out of their way multiple times to announce that they haven't even spoken about it - anyone who's poly knows that communication is SO important, it can make or break everything. And of course there's the butchering of Kalas entire arc. It's bad
I can’t tell you how glad I am to get an ask like this.
I agree with absolutely everything you said, especially the part about communication. I wish more of the fandom was listening to people like you with actual knowledge and experience instead of making wild conjectures about the nature of polyamory.

The tale of a once die hard Sense8 fan, and why it is difficult to move on from the finale
Dear Max, Brian, Tina, Jamie, Miguel, Toby, Doona and Tuppence. I am writing this blog to you. First off, thank you SOO much for bringing these characters and stories to life, for all your hard work and love and dedication for this show. Thank you so much! I could never be upset with anyone on the cast except for Lana. You have no control over how the finale was written, I know this.
Let me also say that I love this show so much that I have watched each episode so many times that I have lost count. I THINK I have seen each episode 30 times, and the 6 or so that are my favorites, probably something like 35 times, but I am not sure of the exact number. I have never watched any tv show this many times before. NEVER.However, there is only 1 episode I have watched only 1 time and I doubt I will ever rewatch, and that is the finale.
I cant rewatch the finale because of what Lana did to Kala and Wolfgang’s love story. Let me be clear: this was NEVER a Kala/Wolfgang/Rajan love story. It never was! It was always a Kala and Wolfgang love story. I wrote an entire other blog here (my very first blog ever) on why I absolutely hated what she did to this story and why it ruined the entire finale for me and many many other die hard Kalagang fans. Here is a link to the blog: https://facialgirl2017.tumblr.com/post/174826127330/kala-and-wolfgang-why-they-were-supposed-to-be
But what I cannot stomach even more than this ruinous finale, is the hate and vitriol from many of the sense8 fandom, towards those of us that are very upset with the kalagang ending in the finale. First let me say that I saw this coming a mile away (the hate from many of the fandom), because I have been very active in the big Sense8 group of facebook and I have seen firsthand how most (not all) but most of the fans in that group love for this show seems to come more so from the “diversity” and “representation” of the show. They seem to care more about the rainbow of skin colors and sexual orientations in the show than the actual show itself. That is not me. Sure it is great that there are characters from other countries and cultures, and two gay characters and one that is also trans. I have no issue with this, but that is not why I watch this show or any tv show. I loved the STORY, the CONCEPT of homosensorium, the personal stories, relationships and character dev of each character. There could have been zero gay characters and lets say an all asian cast and I STILL would have loved this show because of the concept and the stories. So when one of the major story arcs, and one of only two couples left who were still unresolved going into the finale (the other couple being Sun and Mun) was turned into complete crap in the finale, turned into an ending that goes completely against the entire story arc and character dev for 2 entire seasons in favor of another “representation” makes me really upset and bitter. Especially after fighting so hard for this finale to even come to fruition and then waiting a whole year for it is a huge slap in the face to me and many other fans. And the biggest reason why I fought so hard to at least get a finale if not a 3rd season WAS TO GET KALA AND WOLFGANG THEIR HAPPY ENDING IN PARIS! Kala not dumping Rajan and using Wolfgang as like a side piece is NOT a happy ending. I wont even go into how Raj and Wolfgang even considering sharing Kala in the bedroom as well as even having sex with each other goes completely against their characters and therefore this “poly” relationship ending makes no sense,  because then I will be rambling on forever.
I cannot pretend to love this finale just cause we were lucky to get it at all or to not upset all the “progressives” who only care about rainbow representations and who vilify and try to shame the rest of us who actually care about the integrity of the story and its characters. But I am not surprised from the intolerance from the progressive fans who like I said seem to care more about their rainbow representations than to actually following through with the telling of a story and with not making characters act completely out of character.
So I wanted to write this to you 8, cause not sure how much you are following this huge split/fighting amongst the fans. Also can you pass this on to Lana, in case she is not aware, that many of us are upset over her character and story assassination, and I am sorry but I cant be all sunshine pretending that I love this finale and that I am happy with it when she completely had no regard for the huge Kalagang fan base (who seem to have always been the most popular couple on sense8) and to literally leave us disappointed, like when you sleep with a super attractive person and expect the sex to be amazing but instead it left you feeling empty and unsatisfied. I am not sure if I will be able to ever rewatch all the episodes I love again. If I can somehow put out of my head how Kala and Wolfgang were robbed of their happy ending, I might be able to return to watching all of your amazing performances again. But I dont know if that is possible.
Yours Truly,
Michele

Lana throws all of that away that she did with these characters previously, just so she can shatter societal norms by saying “why should a woman have to choose?” If that was your true intentions all along, Lana (which is obvious it was not) then you would have written their story development A LOT differently throughout the two seasons.

Witnessing people claiming that Wolfgang is a worse man than Rajan is completely hysterical. I’m really in shock. For the hundredth time, let the facts speak for themselves.
Wolfgang was born in the most important and influent criminal family in Berlin. He was literally raised by criminals. He was forced to conduct the criminal lifestyle for all of his life. He didn’t have a choice on that matter. That’s how it works in the mob. “You should always remember who you are” his uncle tells him in 1x05. To which Wolfgang answers: “I think about that every day”. Everyday he is forced to live a dishonest, dangerous life he didn’t choose for himself. He is also the son of a rapist, abusive, drunk father who used violence as a daily way of education. He probably lost his mother at the expense of this kind of toxic domestic environment. And if all of this isn’t enough, he was always bullied as a kid by everyone and had to learn how to protect himself for survival. Yes, Wolfgang murdered a bunch of people, but he always did it in self-defense and out of good intentions. He killed his father presumably to prevent his mother from being beaten up to death, or maybe because he had already killed her (since it’s unknown what exactly happened to her). Either way, Wolfgang, being just a kid, had no way around it. His action was completely justified. He also killed his uncle, to which the same reasoning can be applied, since he knew about everything his father had done to him and his mother and did nothing about it (actually, he has been shown to actively help and support his brother in his behavior). He also killed his cousin Sergei and his collaborators, because they had previously deadly injured Felix and then threatened Wolfgang of definitely killing him while in coma. It was the only way he had left to save the life of the only person he had ever loved and felt genuinely accepted by. It was an understandable behavior. Everytime he killed someone, it was a matter of life-or-death. He didn’t kill just for the sake of it, he was forced to to ensure his loved ones’ survival. He acted out of love and selflessness.
Rajan was born in a wealthy and powerful Indian family. He had a priviledged lifestyle during all of his life. He had everything accessible with a blink of the eye and he was raised in order to take over his father’s company. It’s likely that he wasn’t given a choice on that, he probably had to. But once in charge, he had the power to do right, and he consciously chose not to. We can statistically be sure that he caused the death of thousands of people in poor countries while confortably sitting on his throne and gaining dirty money. He could stop the business as soon as he had the possibility of doing so, yet he didn’t. He had no life-or-death circumstances to take into account, he was just evil and inconsiderate. He acted out of profit and selfishness.
Also: a big part of the fandom seems to be focused only on Wolfgang’s cold-blooded actions, as if he was particularly bad because he took the lives of some people. But… guys. This show is full or murderers.
Will killed three people in Riley’s body in 1x06.
Kala built a bomb in 1x12 conscious of the effects of it. She basically caused the death of a bunch of people both in that occasion and in 2x11 by blowing up a car without second thoughts.
Sun killed some people in 1x03 and 1x11 in Capheus’s body, but also in the Christmas Special, in 2x03 and in 2x11 by herself.
Almost everyone basically killed someone in the many shootings of the finale.
All these actions were taken out of forced self-defense, in life-or-death situations. Which makes them as excusable as Wolfgang’s. So who is the only one depicted as a “good guy” who consciously provoked the deaths of a lot of innocent people and without a reason to do it? Your beloved, “he-doesn’t-deserve-any-hate” Rajan. So stop bullshitting and call “racists” people who judge these characters according to their choices and actions, not skin colors. Rajan, despite being raised in a priviledged environment, happen to be a slimy, evil man of color, whereas Wolfgang, despite being raised in a toxic one, happen to still be a selfless, caring white man. It’s not about the race, it’s about the attitude. By accusing other people or mere “racism” on this matter, you are making it a race problem.
This fandom is getting ridicolous. Lana objectively fucked up. Stop trying to defende her with extremely flawed opinions that can easily be disproved by real facts.
